Alan Wake II: Lake House Expansion7
Oct 23, 2024
The lore and story is great but it is bogged down by a poorly balanced experience . There is a lack of health, the new monster is random and annoying if you have low health, and there are too many notes.

Diablo IV0
Jul 20, 2023
I have to say that I really enjoyed my time with this game and got my money's worth, but the direction this game is going in is strictly worse. We are getting no QoL features, social features, interesting endgame/content, we are getting exp nerfs, helltide nerfs, damage nerfs, survivability nerfs, and class nerfs, plus i'm probably forgetting something. I would've easily recommended this game as an 8/10 prior to this update despite the lackluster endgame, but now I can't.

Overwatch 25
Oct 9, 2022
Cant speak for how it compares to recent Overwatch 1, but as someone who stopped playing around 3 years ago, this game is not worth your time. Role queue still ****, some characters are basically ruined fun wise due to changes, the new players are terrible since the game has gone f2p, microtransactions everywhere. This is NOT a new game, in fact, this is overwatch 0.5 because despite numerous improvements, there are just way too many problems introduced with the changes. If you've never played overwatch before, it is worth a try, but for anybody coming back, this is definitely not worth a millisecond of your time.

Great and unique adventure game that was definitely worth my time and money. Not a masterpiece in my eyes, but still one of the better games in recent memory. The biggest downfalls for me were the lack of character/enemy variety and the underwhelming ending. I would've enjoyed the game quite a bit more if there was at least 1 additional level at the end.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent10
Apr 30, 2022
This is the scariest game of all time. It is the father of all of those "defenseless" horror games out there now, such as Outlast. The monsters are frightening and creative, the sanity mechanic is threatening but fair, and the story is incredible.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land8
Mar 29, 2022
This game is essentially Super Kirby Odyssey, except it's not as good as the game it's based on. It has the same feel, many of the same mechanics, and fun collectibles/gameplay. However, it has many issues compared to the 3D Mario games. Firstly, the game does not run very great as it practically runs at 30 FPS most of the time. Compared to the Mario games which usually run at 45-60ish FPS. Secondly, the movement options are not nearly as good as a Mario game, which is partly why those games are so good in the first place. There are some ways to make movement faster, but they usually rely on specific abilities you might not come across at a convenient time. Overall though, this is a great Nintendo game that only really gets outshined by the better Switch titles such as Odyssey and Smash. If you love 3D Mario, you will most likely enjoy this game, but do not expect it to be the next Mario Odyssey.

Battlefield 17
Oct 24, 2018
Battlefield 1 is a gorgeous game with an incredible campaign, but it lacks in the multiplayer aspect, which is why you buy these games for the most part. It never feels like you contribute to the games, even if you are killing everything in sight or controlling a point. It's a literal battlefield in that nobody knows what they are doing ever. The contrast in colors is terrible and makes it very difficult to spot enemies, even if they are relatively close to you. Overall a cool game that may depend on the individual.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt10
Oct 24, 2018
The Witcher 3 is the best game of all time. It has one of the biggest worlds I've ever seen, yet every inch of it is carefully crafted to feel unique and not copy and pasted. The dialogue and relationships are believable and interesting, the choices are always impactful and heart pounding, and the lore is very interesting. It's the Game of Thrones of video games; if you are not a fan of dialogue/character/story driven games you might not like this one.

As a massive Fallout fan, I was disappointed with this game. It had very few dialogue options that had an actual impact, and the dialogue was not as clever or funny as previous games. However, if I judged this as a game in itself and not on what I expected, it is a genuinely fun rpg shooter with mostly interesting quests, enemies, and guns that only has the downfall of a lack of rpg elements.

Grand Theft Auto V10
Oct 24, 2018
GTA V has an immensely enjoyable and lengthy single player story that never slows down and each mission feels new. It is easily one of the best single player experiences I've ever had. As for online, it is worth playing, however it is still massively flawed and often frustrating. I would not pay full price solely for online, but if you have not played the single player, it is completely worth it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 49
Oct 24, 2018
If Modern Warfare 2 is the best COD game, this one is right below it. It removes the titanfall-esque futuristic style gameplay and instead focuses on futuristic gadgets that would be somewhat believable if it were the near-future. I'm not a fan of Fortnite, Pubg, or battle royale games in general, but I genuinely enjoy Blackout, even if I prefer Zombies or Multiplayer. No campaign **** and if it had a good one, I would give it a 9.5/10.
