Garry's Mod is for me one of the BEST sandbox games. It gives you complete freedom. This is because the code is based of the Source Engine by Valve. Thanks to this. Many players around the world have been doing Add-ons for Garry's Mod on the Workshop of Steam. You can customize your Garry's Mod HOWEVER you want, From Realistic, War, Funny, Zombies, Apocaliptic, etc. You even have content from other games, Like Fallout, GTA, etc. So, yeah, its a game that without the Workshop, its just a Sandbox game based of Half-Life 2. But with the Workshop and Freedom it gives you. IT'S by far, the one of the best Sandbox Game ever created.

Not a bad game and I've joined some funny severs but it just gets boring quickly and do anything in any of the severs you have the fork up your whole bank account.

It's a fun time waster, I spent like 40 hours just making an army of marios fighting each other, a fun sandbox game but nothing really beyond that, unless you wanna count the weird community with the role play servers and the poor horror maps.

Игра полное говно, эта игра неиграбельная без аддонов и друзей, движок не подходящий для модов, не смотря на графику даже для своих годов имеет огромное количество графических багов, разработчики не прислушиваются к словам игроков, раз в пол года они добавляют безполезные обновления, в недавнем обновлении была добавлена возможность создать отдельюную папку для предметов, ладно если бы это было добавлено в год выпуска игры НО НЕ СПУСТЯ 18 ЛЕТ!

This game USED to be fantastic; one of the best games ever made. But then the Garry's Mod 13 update utterly ruined every aspect of the game! Saves are broken, loading times are way too long, the Workshop is blatantly worse than its predecessors (**** & Toybox,) the UI is downright ugly, its so badly optimized even some HIGH-END PCs can have trouble running it, for a while there was an exploit that allowed your computer to become infected with a virus via Gmod servers, even BASIC features like the Inflator Tool don't work properly anymore. And don't expect the game to get decent bugfixes any time soon; the developers are slooow. The games functionality isn't the only thing that has become awful over the years; the Gmod community itself has become one of the worst communities I've seen in gaming. You will rarely find a friendly/smart person in it anymore. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is only a shell of what it used to be. Also garry supports paid mods. So there's that.
