Middling, I do have a compatible cpu but it is pretty egregious for an old game to not support any cpu that can run it. The game looks good not mind blowing like CP77 though. I don't like the huge amount of cutscenes. I get that it's story driven rather than hands on gameplay driven but I'll watch a movie if I want that. Like Death Stranding it's a skip cinematic fest a lot for me, kills it. The actual hands on gameplay isn't bad it's not amazing either, similar to the Tomb Raider series. And they could have done a lot more PC specific optimization, like I want to play in a different resolution but have not figured out how to get that since it's borderless only. It uses almost all available ram no matter how much you have 8, 16, etc just fills it up. I get some weird cutscene stuttering and glitches but nothing that is game breaking, consistent 75fps but drops to low 50s here and there on a 2060m, i5-10300h. The pricing is ok I guess since you get two games but it would have been better to separate them and charge 30 for each, had to delete and move around stuff for a 125gb recommended but really came out to about 100gb when it was installed. They started with 4 on pc because it requires less graphics upgrading and such, cheaper to do. To go back and come up with modern graphics on the earlier games would have cost a lot more not to mention the PC specific updates and they are unlikely to do it for that reason. I think I can make it through but with the cutscenes and skipping them it's not likely to be too memorable, would have been better to take a Dying Light approach which is hands on gameplay heavy with a cutscene here and there for story development and also doing the story via environmental factors and such. Needed a line by line skipping method rather than the whole scene to skip past the cringey stuff and useless stuff. I mean we know they're going for the treasure that's the whole series really and we don't need a lecture over the details and etc about it. Padding. There's probably 20hrs of gameplay here for a 60gb+ size, unbelievable.

It gets pretty tedious the longer you play, janky UI, story is uninteresting and features lots of obnoxious dialogue, cutscenes can at least be skipped, input lag which makes it a real pain to play with some bosses, at some point the controller flips twin stick direction in at least one big boss fight, lock picking is another annoyance, map is useless most of the time, side missions are hard to figure out what to do, bugs, annoying auto lock on with the gun, very generic uninteresting upgrading of weapons, junk collecting galore, shallow dress selection about 6-7 total, bland characters which I don't care about in the least, definitely needed a western game consultant. The pixel graphics are nice, nice 2d/3d switching like Nier Automata, world is interesting to explore but not much there in the end. Overall it's a decent game but all the jank just adds up over time to where it outstays its welcome somewhere past half way or so. Needed more actual gameplay and a lot of polish that I'm not sure the team is capable of themselves. I wouldn't pay full price for it. This is rated as mixed on steam so I conclude there is just shills on here, like so many other reviews here.

Only good IF you like RE 0/1 remakes. It has the awful fixed camera, the clunky UI in general, tank controls if you don't use a controller, confusing tape save system, minimal to no controls etc training, not the best graphics looks like an early ps3 game. On the plus side it has decent music so far, moderate puzzles which if you've played the above games won't be too hard. Like everyone else has said it's an old school RE and silent hill mix. If konami or capcom don't want to do this so much the better for others, for those two giants a game like this would take peanuts and be low cost at the same time be a huge market. All you'd need is a modern 3d camera and modern intuitive UI and a modern save system so take RE2re with these graphics and add a story done, it's not that hard. The devs of this game were obviously trying to do it as cheaply as possible so using the fixed camera, limited save system, older graphics and old school UI were pretty much a guarantee of low cost/time to make. But in todays world an up to date 3d camera shouldn't be that hard or cost that much, a save system that respects peoples limited time would also be a good gesture and be good for business. Those two things are what makes it either a niche game or a more universal and bigger selling game. So it's a niche game with limited appeal. I just don't have the time to waste on losing hours of progress because of the save system. Once or if we get trainers that will negate that it will be more feasible to put time into this.

Chernobylite is a frankenstein game of other games mashed together with Slavic obtuseness/janky terrible UI. Metro, Stalker, Fallout 4 etc There's nothing that's particularly good about it all around, go play the games that it tries to mash together, they're way better. The graphics are nice but then the game is very buggy and stuttery at times. The gameplay loop gets very boring after a couple of times. 1. wakeup 2. some sort of mission prompt via radio 3. assign missions for yourself and the bots 4. do missions, some story but mostly junk collecting 4. Assign food rations 5. Perhaps build some stuff in your bunker 6. Go to bed. 7. REPEAT until story over. That's the game mostly. The maps are decent but nowhere near say Witcher 3 size, which with all DLC is 36gb install, this game is about the same size install for a much smaller in game area. You just use the same few maps over and over, mostly empty too. English VO is awful, stick with ukranian and do the subtitles. The base building is from Fallout 4, just in one area and much smaller, no settlers other than 1-2 companion bots. You get 3 guns you can use total: AK, revolver, Shotgun. You can upgrade them, not very interesting. You can build things like armor etc but that involves a LOT of grind, not too interesting. There are bugs of course. You can tell they were trying to cash in on the hunger for more stalker but it's only the setting and themes that are similar. All in all the only thing I can see that's good here are the graphics and they're not really jaw dropping tbh. I'd wait for a drastic price cut, watch yt play etc before buying this. Also the reviews seem to be really skewed and this is an indication of manipulation either by the publisher or some sort of weird nationalistic craziness.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

This game is a mixed bag but overall it's a banal excuse of a yakuza game when taken into account the other 7 games in the series. We go from the legends and high level yakuza glory and drama with a Kiryu of dignified tragic grandeur and the other legends and their stories to childlike **** and bums with endless UI and dialogue that just crawls along. GAG. The writers LOVE orphans, they love surrogate paternal relationships, they love all types of perversions and all sorts of videogame culture, we get it this is just over the top and does NOT fit in very well with the series as a whole. I don't play turn based combat games, it's too automatic and too UI heavy I prefer control over the experience as much as possible with the least UI in the way. One aspect of why I've played and replayed 0-6 is that it's NOT TURN BASED. This is serviceable but I did NOT play Dragon Quest so the references mean nothing to me. Ichiban seems to SHOUT his lines rather than speak and it sounds like he's on drugs lol. The larger maps are pretty empty and generic, even reworked from Y4/Y5 to my eye. I think Y6 was about 40gb, this monster is 60gb and for what? so they can shout MA MORE! BLOATED. The back stories are just not believable, although that's true for most yakuza games to be fair. This game would have benefit by being shorter and more personal and detailed AND being more Yakuza focused rather than all the other characters etc that have absolutely no YA-KU-ZA whatsoever. Over-Rated. GARRISH. PERVERTED. BANAL.

Ok this is an update since I'm almost done with this game just the final scene. At first the chases are a pain but you get the hang of them,y4/y5 have much better chases. This game starts off slow and then gets going and has some of the best side stories. The main story is typical yakuza soap opera stuff but does have some memorable moments. I'm at the finale and have about 18hrs in, but I use a trainer to make the many annoying random street fights as short as possible and don't really get into the minigames outside of the ones that involve side stories. You can only get the beads of good fortune by finding all the locker keys in kamurocho, what a PIA. The controller camera sensitivity takes some getting used to because it's way fast, but I'm real yakuza so no problem. I play 2k dsr which helps a bit with the dated graphics. I think this deserves kiwami treatment along with 4, 5 is fine. This game also seems to have the largest amount of street npcs, but they pop in a lot and if you turn your back and again they disappear. The patch actually introduced a periodic stutter when approaching high npc areas and other bugginess not there with just V1, so I'd steer clear if you can. Not going to lie though this is probably my least favorite afa graphics/mechanics, slow start and other parts that aren't crime drama oriented but the story is decent and makes more sense than most of the following titles. IMO 0-yk2 is a great arc storywise, everything after is just bonus material to me. RGG really needed to gradually move kiryu aside for other original characters to take the lead such as majima, saijima, daigo and akiyama but that's not what they did unfortunately.

Awful game but the awful seem to have come out here in their droves to praise this game, must be a lot of ubi linked people looking for that bonus, hopefully they miss out on it. I couldn't get what was so great about this other than the graphics? It's the same old AC open world games as Origin/Odyssey but just in a different setting. There's nothing better but graphics, it takes up a ton of space, runs terribly for everyone who didn't fork over a ton of money for a gpu toy, or isn't a mental midget that we see so much of especially here.

Typical Yakuza game with a deep twisty turny crime drama and lots of minigames and substories. The highlight of the substories are the Akiyama Hana-Chan loan sharking stories and the Saijima karate dojo training. There are about 65 substories total with about 15 for each character. The story can get a little convoluted and too much nonsensical video game logic infested but it's going to be highly entertaining for sure. ----Graphically it's definitely an old game even remastered so you could play this on a potato and get the full graphics experience, 4k dsr is not out of the question for any modern gpu and certainly 2k dsr, the game's locked to 60 max. I got pretty tired of the random street battles and really wish there was a way to just turn those off so I can focus on collectible hunting and not have to actively try to avoid them while playing the main and sub stories. For this you are only getting the one map, Kamurocho, but it's expanded to include underground and some small rooftop play. I think with 4 playable characters they should have included at least one more map like Okinawa or Sotenbori. Yakuza 5 has 5 maps with 5 playable characters. Kiryu's part seems to be tacked on tbh, and for some guy who wants out of the Yakuza he sure seems to be always concerned with his old clan way too much. The cop character is just this installment only and has no real connection to other yakuza games like all the other ones, he could have been cut from this or even just cut Kiryu's involvement for just 3 players for a more focused story. But Kiryu is in every yakuza game besides the completely new Yakuza 7 LAD. ---- I would not recommend this as a stand alone experience, too much dependence and interlinking story wise with the previous games, you'd have to watch summaries of the past games to get a lot of it. That and the overwhelming 4 playable characters and convoluted confusing story. For new players start with y0 and go through them in order. Yakuza 3 I don't recommend at all it's clunky, the first part is slow and it's barely "remastered" in any way other than some textures. Yakuza 3 needed a full Kiwami rebuild, but that's not going to happen. For new players who want a fully modern game go for Yakuza 7 LAD or if you want to play a few of them start with 0. Still for those who started with 0 or YK1 this is a great game packed with content and a highly entertaining story just like the other yakuza games.

I recommend this package wholeheartedly, for the cost of one mid level game or old top level game you get 3 full games, of 30+ hrs each, so it's a great way to try out the Yakuza series. I recommend like everyone else to start with Yakuza 0 though, which is not included here. I DO NOT recommend Yakuza 3, it's the oldest that's not been remastered in any meaningful way, other than some graphical upgrades, it's really clunky and slow and the first part is totally unlike pretty much all the other Yakuza games, SKIP 3 and come back if you become a diehard Yakuza fan. -----Yakuza 4 is much better and more like all the other Yakuza games but it will be kind of confusing if you have not played 1 or 2, story wise. Yakuza 5 is epic but you may want to just play 0, yk1, yk2 since they are more focused and have just one or two playable characters. Yakuza is a deep crime drama and it feels like a movie, the story will keep you going to see what's next. The hilarious side stories are great and if you are into a lot of minigames this would be a lot of icing on the cake, including old sega arcade games, mahjong, shogi, poker, blackjack, roulette and new/unique minigames in this series. ----Graphically 4 and 5 are the best of this package but for the most up to date graphics and QOL go for Kiwami 2, it's miles above everything else besides 6 and 7 which are also modern. ---Gameplay wise the cameras are not true full 6 axis as you can't really rotate to a up looking position too well, you fight the camera there. The non-story street battles can get really old if you don't enjoy that a lot, I used a trainer to one hit kill there to make them as short as possible. They really need a way to turn those off wandering around the streets, and they usually have some collectible that will at least turn the encounters down but not usually completely off so you have to run away or avoid the obvious npcs seeking fights. 4 doesn't always tell you where to go for the next objective either so it can be annoying, usually you have to just wander around the streets and you'll hit upon it but it can get to the point of an internet search to find what's next which is indicative of bad game design. ----Overall get this for 4 and especially 5 but for the full experience, if you don't play the others, you'd want to watch some yt summaries of 0,1,2 (and 3 imo) to get some story background. They really should have put summaries of the previous games in every game because I've played 0,1,2 and I have a hard time remembering every little twist that happened in those main stories. It's very twisty/turns all over the Yakuza games.

I wasn't impressed with it much, graphics are nice nothing better than Prey from a few years ago and that's a MUCH better game but not a grind survival game like this is. IF you enjoy grind survival games and the overactive adhd comedy style then you'll love this game. It would lock up for a while when changing settings and was clunky in general. For instance the first part of actual gameplay you had to plug a leak, well the tutorials and etc are not well done and are not interactive. I used both gamepad and kbm since it isn't seamless, you have to use kbm sometimes. Did get it going but I just found the rest of it overdone, and the "normal" difficulty was the lowest you could get, you could do a tour mode but there's no story there at all. Your oxygen lasts only a minute or two so it's go out, get this come back, repeat. Refunded.

Amazing graphical and QOL upgrades in this one over pretty much every one of them outside perhaps 6 and 7. The 2021 remastered version of 3 is horrid, just terrible outside of the main story, skip that. This game has a decent story and side stories. I came directly from YK1 and it was a shock how much better graphically and QOL this is, it will make the 3 remaster hard to stomach at all. So it's a pleasure to play Yakuza quality of life wise like the map, shops and the more straightforward combat which is not as clunky imo. I rarely changed combat styles in 0-yk1 anyways, who doesn't love Majimas breakdancer style and Kiryu's Dragon style? -------I felt the Majima side chapters to be way too short and restricted, no side stories at all and just too brief and uninspired story that goes by in 3 chapters, the first being mainly cutscenes. By the time I did it after the main story I had already done some adventure mode so I'm not sure if you can play as Majima in that mode, seems unlikely since there would be no side stories for him, just street combat, minigames but no collectibles. They really need to do a whole game or two focusing on Majima but I have not played 4-7 yet so they may not have much more outside of those to focus on. Perhaps standalone episodes unrelated to the mainline Yakuza games story since Majima outside of 0 just pops in and out at least in YK1-YK2 and from what I played in 3 before deciding to just skip to 4. But this game is totally a must play now since it's a full Yakuza game with modern graphics and mechanics, win win win.

It's a decent game but has a lot of really bad elements/mechanics that really should not be there after all the great games of the past including their own TW3. It's certainly way overhyped and that's the studios fault completely. Runs fine, at realistic settings for your system but not insane settings. The bugs for me were totally cosmetic 99.9% of the time, no game breaking bugs for me. Things like the driving mechanics are a total joke, the lack of switching to and from 3rd person other than driving is just not good for a modern open world game. All those clothes etc customization and you barely see it. Map is atrocious and ugly, constant **** on the phone, terrible minimap, no real exploration for side missions it's all with a big ? etc all over the eye gouging map. The story is ok, nothing epic about it, most of the endings are not satisfying at all and are depressing. The holes in the story and game world are legion. There is no proper true after campaign playing. The world looks great but is empty a lot of the time or has terrible AI space filler bots. The long distance away moving cars are embarrassing, I mean did they play any GTA's since 4 at all? Where are any flying possibility for these cyborgs of the future? Why drive ground cars that look like fancified cars of the past? You can turn off a lot of offensive material but not the vulgar offensive language, the marxist social agenda in this is obvious and revolting. CPDR is staffed with occultist scum writers etc. Keaneu Reeves can take a hike, totally dirt bag and the off putting hollywhoring adds nothing to the game. Runs fine without RT, with RT it's a 20fps hit on a 2060, avg of 40fps 1080p med/high, without RT 60+. I think some quality DLC can help this game, even free would help to make up some good will for this disgraced studio. With doing all the major missions, two full endings, many side missions and skipping most of the police missions with a lot of exploration I had about 60hrs so it's a decent value for the money afa hours/dollars. It has no replay value for me at all, uninstalled it already.

For being a small game with a limited open world this game really punches above its weight. I enjoyed it for the stealth, light rpg and the fact that it ties the Terminator story together much better than all the annoying movies past T2. Combat is fun and other mechanics are fine if nothing special. The character models look a little strange with bug eyes at times but they get the job done. There was real tension avoiding the robots and we did get some decent variety in settings with the hollywood hills level. It has a surprising amount of adult content in it lol and your choices do make a difference in some ways. The graphics are very dated like 2013 level, didn't bother me at all. It's not a challenge for 120fps+ on my mobile turing card at high settings either. I played this through a couple of times and it's a fun game.

It's pretty entertaining and funny with the side skits. The story is serious and interesting. Graphics are what can be expected from such an old game even remastered but it's fine. I'm not a beatemup fan so I just got a trainer to make those sequences very short, they needed to have a lot less of the street fights it's obnoxious. Most of the micromanagement minigames were not my cup of tea either, the elaborate systems in place for this could have been used for a larger amount of open world or more in depth side skits. It was pretty much straight story and side skits that kept my interest. There is a LOT of dialogue that if you are not interested in reading all of it, will be a pain to keep hitting the skip button, it just goes on and on and on in some cases. Use a gamepad. I got a couple of crashes that lost me a couple hours of gameplay each time so make sure you manually save after a few events, there is no auto save!!! And you have to remember which is your latest save when starting back up, the game DOES NOT automatically display your most recent save, ugh. This surprisingly takes up a bit of horsepower on my rtx 2060 laptop so it's not a well optimized game either. All in all it's a fantastic game for such a low price but has a lot of little annoyances that hinder it. I'm not sure that I want to continue the yakuza series since this is supposed to be the best one and I'm not hungry for more of the same.

I like to play games, not watch interactive movies which is what this really is, kochimp needs to just move over completely to movies and leave gaming the heck alone. This should be called the "Skip Button Simulator" because I must have hit that 100x. From the emo cringey music you're forced to listen to, to the awful Monster product placement I just couldn't recommend this at any price. If you're curious watch a yt video you'd get 99% the same experience but for free. Drones? Crying baby if you slip is really annoying. No separate audio options for music, score and voice. Even when I turned down the volume it was too loud on headphones. Update 2: A solution to Silver Ridge is to get the mod which resets the main missions and make sure you get all 3 cameras before moving on. With the TruAxis Update the spawning seems better too. TruAxis update fixes Silver Ridge as well. Update: At least 2 main quests in 2 different maps are broken: In Hirschfelden you are supposed to find Red Deer scat but there are no Red Deer in the mission area, you can find them in other parts of the map but not the ME, so the main story cannot be finished. In Silver Ridge you cannot plant the signs at the Uranium Mine, main story cannot be finished. I am on the TruMule update which is the latest. The developer is even selling a 2021 edition that is not updated and is just a cheaper version with less maps etc Greedy lazy developers. Couple stars off for this. No idea if the other maps have issues in the main missions yet. You have to like slow beautiful games to like this one. It's maps are huge 25 square miles each and there are 7-8 of them. That's 200 sq miles, among the largest games maps. But you need to get some DLC to really enjoy it. Comes with 2 maps base game only. The ATV is a must because the maps are way too big and way too slow character movement on foot. This game needs horses and motorcycles and electric versions for less noise if the devs are reading this. Some of the maps are less than interesting like the Africa one, no zebras or crocs and other iconic animals really? Huge empty spaces ugh. The best maps are the northern forest ones like Hirschfelden, Yukon, Layton, Silver ridge. The Russian map is way too white out and there is no brightness setting in game! The Euro maps, cuatro colinas is pretty nice though, are way too much like an amusement park or botanical garden, not really wild hunting. They need a Scottish Highlands, India/China would be nice. Australia maybe, coastal focused. --Another thing is the performance. At first this would crash randomly every time but after the Trumule update and some nvidia control panel tweaking and turning it down to 900p it is stable and beautiful for me. There are bugs but minor ones like stuck popups. --Story missions are ok if you want something structured to do. This is an exploration and relaxing game as well. The prices in the cache are way too much for basic stuff like tents and ammo. --The menus will take some getting used to because they are not setup well and there is a lot of manual things you have to do like selecting ammo then selecting the gun and reloading it. You have to remember to put all you need in your inventory before leaving the cache. --There is no save control, it's all auto so you can't just take up where you left, it will load you to the nearest outpost only. With the size of the map that's really annoying, it literally feels one to one distances so it could take you a lot of time just atv back to where you were. If you have a tent to setup this is negated however but that's not included in the base game. --Needs birds and fish. Needs more types of animals as well, too much copy paste with minor differences between maps. Generic Wild Boar all over, deer of all types, foxes. At least it has lions, bears, buffalo, pumas, moose, turkeys etc in certain maps but again it's missing a lot of iconic animals like zebras, crocs, elephants, hippos and others. --Since this is supposed to be so authentic, give me the option to buy and use earplugs or ear protection while firing, it's pretty loud when you fire!! Have to take off my headphones when I do fire. --Give me an electric atv or bike or horse to minimize the distracting noise from the atv. I want only nature sounds mostly. ---There are trainers out there that are for older versions but some of the most important cheats do work, cutting out a lot of grind and pay for play garbage, makes the game much better. There are also some mods that add money and items as well, but a trainer is much easier. ---All in all I'm enjoying the game, it's beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. But if you are in a hurry this is not it.

Just got this, now that I can actually own it, and it's not what I expected but still a great game. It's certainly story rich but like others have said very double minded main character and gang. These are criminals doing criminal acts but we are constantly presented with the idea that these people and the main character are actually good people, what? We've seen this since at least Asphalt Jungle, making the bad guys to be good by checkerboard kabbalistic-masonic satanic principles. Another aspect is that "it takes a village" witchcraft communism in full bloom. Such nice family of criminals, sure. It's not real or honest, criminals have some positive aspects but they are overwhelmingly evil in real life regardless of braying bribed or ignorant crowds in elite cases. Let's just have either overwhelmingly bad or good, this ambiguous kabbalistic in between is devious. Dislikes first. ---Another aspect I did not like was the sim chores of taking care of your character and his horse, guns etc I can see the GTA San Andreas influence here, along with some GTAV. It detracts from the gameplay and is not fun for me, thankfully there are trainers that can negate all this stuff for those not into the grind. ---The controls take a bit of getting used to and I didn't like the whole gun storage aspect, if I equip a handgun and some sort of long gun I want those to be available anytime, I don't want them to be put onto the horse so I have to remember to get them. In battle it's annoying to find that I don't have the weapon I want because the character put it on the horse and didn't automatically take it again when I got off! ---The camera is ok most of the time but really gets in the way in battle, and the character controls get way too laggy slow when trying to get out of dodge. This is also true of horse controls which are not too good, too sim for me. AC odyssey got them right and TW3 did ok as well, but this game isn't nearly as good there. I feel like the matching trot never truly works and was always fighting with it. Give me a toggle one button medium trot and a further button for full speed, no tapping!! ---Character walk and run are pretty slow but that's kinda the way it is, it's an adjustment going from fast cars and automatic weapons from GTAV to this. ---The default graphics colors are washed out and there is no gamma adjustment only brightness, so it's either washed out or too dark. Who wants to risk screwing up a 117gb install for reshades? Happened for me with a seemingly simple GTA4 reshade which forced me to reinstall, but no way risking it on a game that takes 3hrs to install. More built in reshading/color options should have been included. ---Graphics settings options are way too much but I'd rather have that then only presets. PLEASE we want adaptive vsync!!! This makes another huge game, AC Odyssey run smooth for me on mid range laptop 980m. Not an option in this game, nor does ncp have it. Apart from that it runs well and I can get it looking decent at med/low settings in 1080p, .75 scale, around 50 fps average on vulkan win7. Although it's amazing how awesome theHunter COW looks so much better with much more details and higher settings 60fps vsync on the same system! ---Getting to that I wasn't hugely interested in the hunting/fishing aspects of this game either, if you really want an awesome hunting game get theHunter COW which is amazingly beautiful and has several maps that make up 200 sq miles of playable areas. Much prettier game and more focused. --I played using a gamepad and I think that's the way to go, kbm would be a chore. ---The star of all this to me is the open world old west gameplay which is a rarity on pc. I love the exploring aspects, the random events, just the ability to go anywhere and camp and a decent if vulgar main story missions mixed in. The world is pretty for sure and full of mystery. ---MODDING really makes this game shine, thankfully RS made this game like GTAV which makes replaying missions and even perhaps new modder made mission packs a possibility. Look at Skyrim, Fallouts, etc and the longevity they have by loving modders, excellent. That makes gaming a true joy really.

I liked this game it was very fallout 4 feeling and I liked that game better than this because it was deeper and had a better cast, especially Nick Valentine. I'll never understand why they didn't expand the Valentine noir detective into a separate game it would have been an immediate buy for me, love noir. It's certainly pretty to look at and has a decent story of a dystopian corporate space future, very much a marxist socialism loving theme we've seen since at least the Alien franchise. I would never personally be in any situation where my whole being was dependent absolutely, for long time periods, on a profit seeking "person" corporation/government and that includes all types of governments. Space would be one case, another submarines, airplanes, hospitals you name it. My biggest gripe is that it's not that big, there are only a few worlds but I suppose one of the big talking points is that it's not ponderously long game but to me FO4 wasn't that either, only jubisoft megagames like ac odyssey, later far crys etc would fit that description. Origins didn't even fit that, Just Cause games would if you are dull enough to play them past the main story, or at all really. People say it's very generic but that's just because it doesn't have the lineage of FO etc if they make sequel it would have that and be rated better. But yeah the story wasn't about characters it was about dystopian space corporations so characters are largely forgettable. These big devs are just neo-marxists, antichristians and purveyors of time wasting mind control products. You can see the SJW aspects in these types of games all over the place.

Update: There's a trainer by enjoy on gamecopyworld that really makes this game much more enjoyable. It has an FOV slider, an option to speed up the character and other options that fix a lot of what's wrong with the game. It does not fix all the egregious lens flare and jarring visual effects nor the obnoxious camera bob but an FOV of 95 makes it not so bad. As a side note the major perpetrators of mkultra trauma based mind control are the judaeo-masons-marxists, this is an occult doctrine that was actually documented in one of the black magic grimoires of the middle ages attributed to Solomon, I think it's the clavicle or lesser key in the preface, it's just that the tech/pharmatech has really aided its effectiveness. The Japanese were very effected by the Springmeier books in the early 90's that documented all this, among others and this is primarily what their horror games are about. At bottom this is a kabbalistic satanic system that is used to bring in an atheist world communist dictatorship over the slave goyim with a directing elite of jewish talmudics and their worldly antichrist. That's really the story of this world before apocalypse, make sure you're on the right side there btw. You can see this in a hidden form in the stylized masonic symbol all over the place in the game, which is a hidden black magic hexagram of hermeticism and kabbalism. ----------------------- Got back into this after playing it a few years ago on PC. I can't remember if I had problems with the NON-steam version or not but this steam version I've had no problems with getting 60fps with med/high settings and no/low AA. When the action is high it goes down though pretty bad in some places like when their is fog etc. My largest complaint as far as video options is the over aggressive lense flair and terribly balanced lighting along with the really weird camera bobbing and angles. The seeing double effect and other effects are really horrible too. All that combined with the jarring overly abundant cutscenes and taking control away from the player. In short this game gives me a headache to play too long. It's like being on a bobbing ship with a bunch of lights shining right at you in the fog, ugh. I couldn't tell you much about the story, forgettable like the sequels is. I can tell you a large part of it is simply MKultra/monarch occult, trauma based mind control based or the deliberate **** of a personality and putting it back together with alters that are trained for various tasks. This used to be called multiple personality disorder but it's called DID now. This is deliberately done by the militaries of all countries, by the elite dynastic families and by various other cults and orgs. Hollywood has many of these that are famous. People whose specific memories can be locked away are very useful for political, military and other kinds of crimes for the occult underworlds new order. The shock chair for upgrading is an example of the type of tech they use as a part of all this. Trained killers like the seals, rangers, delta force etc and their counterparts in intelligence and other places, which can be given any command while under programming and they will carry them out. Politically these gun massacres are usually by these programmed multiples but are given a lot of help by unseen actors and the press/police as well. Disarming the American people is a major goal. The controls are ok on a pad but the character is really clunky to move around and there is def too much lag especially when in combat. It's a hard game to enjoy really. The colors are atrocious as well, a muddy look almost all the time with muted other colors make it not very appealing visually. Graphics are ok but are def dated. I'd say if it's cheap give it a go it is a standard mix of RE4 and alan wake. I can see a bit of Silent Hill but it's too run and gun for that comparison really.

Have to say this is a pretty good, but frustrating for casual players. The batmobile is overused. From boss fights, batmobile garbage, riddler puzzles, freaking rc batarang, tank battles and others it's just way too frustrating for the casual player even on easy. A trainer really helps and to see the real ending, which requires 243 riddler challenges, just go online and watch. I found the Azrael missions unrealistic, even batman can't do what he asks az to do in the challenges, never get touched against 12 enemies? skipped that garbage. If it's on easy at least scale it to that ****. The firefly missions are ok but with the forced batmobile chases it's also a frustrating slog, the batmobile handles terribly and the game gets super laggy while driving around at high speed making it even more frustrating. Also switch to toggle mode for the batmobile battle mode to not kill your trigger finger if you're on a controller. Story is ok if very predictable at a certain point, the Joker is well done but the premise is so annoying, yes you will have losses fighting evil but does that mean it's bad to fight evil? Real people would understand instead of beating on the good guy, hopefully but there are a lot of idiots in the world. Batman is a masonic tool, just like all this superhero stuff is just masonic doctrine disguised, satan disguised as lucifer. Masons themselves are just a disguised tool of the international gangsters I can't name explicitly because of their ownership of most things in this world. --Graphically beautiful but very dark and muddy brown looking, could be better. Rain effects probably help this to be still a hard game to achieve 60 fps consistently. Have to really tweak the settings if you are not on the last generation or so of gpu/cpu. --Too much going on on the streets, it's so annoying and overwhelming. ---LET ME TURN OFF THE OBNOXIOUS BANTER on the streets you're forced to listen to, really needed audio options broken up, this is the same for all the open world arkham games. --DLC levels are mostly one level of brawling, not much substance. Even the Family DLC is not much but is the best one of the separate ones. The in game DLC with the other major super villains is worth it. --I recommend it if you have the patience to deal with the problems mentioned above. It is the most all encompassing game of the Arkham series but if you haven't played the other ones go for those first, they're cheaper and better. Look for this on sale.

The game is about 6-8hrs for most people, so pretty short for 60 bucks, there's little replay ability here it's the same game with not much to unlock really and not nearly as good as RE2 Remake which I played through numerous times. The first 30 mins of the game are almost exclusively cut scenes, thankfully you can skip these but it's several buttons to do so. It's a run and gun game with not much time to really explore and soak in the levels, unlike RE2 with the police station, sewers, lab etc There's no atmosphere in this one, pretty generic beside the opening city which is cool with all the signs and stores. There are almost no puzzles of any kind, there are light environmental puzzles but not too much effort to solve. I can't say much about the story it's standard fare, trying to escape the city/find the vaccine and get away from Nemesis with some zombie fighting here and there. I've not played the original. They basically used all the assets from RE2 Remake here, with different skins. Zombies don't break apart like in RE2, much more simplistic damage. --It has stutter in the early game where there are lots of moving parts, no matter the settings you'll get stutter. I found using nvidia control panel for vsync seems to work better, turning off fancy settings, turning down AA and use sharpening via nvidia control panel to make up for the blurriness of TAA etc Perhaps a pc restart before playing would help too. --Get this on sale, don't pay even close to the asking price, 30 bucks max on this one. --Needs more/unlimited save slots. Keeping a save after all the cut scenes would be nice on a replay.

This game is really an amazing example of what we used to get for less than 10 gb of data total as opposed to the bloated games of today, which are most likely a deal with computer ssd and hdd sellers to get a cut by the idiotic developers. If they separated the various textures resolutions as separate it would save a ton of space and thus money, if you are on 1080p you do not need higher textures. -- Granted it's not the most interesting story but most games today don't have really good stories either. The introduction phase is too long and unnecessary really but once you get past it you're wide open as to what you do in a pretty large world. The world needed to be colored a lot better as it comes off as too drab overall, like fallout 3 drab, and of course the story by good old jubisoft has it's typical bigoted tripe. I recommend LIRW's hook trainer for the foundations 1.3 version to cut out a LOT of the annoyances in this game such as the malaria bouts, breaking weapons, car degradation, annoying diamond hunting etc Stealth is only going to last once you get past the car combat ordeal and before you take out the bases so really this game is just a rambo combat game which is fine for me. ---It has boats as well as gliders in certain places and NO RADIO MASTS to climb etc Much less useless side stuff so a largely uncluttered map. ---There is no framelimiter even with vsync turned on and you get really weird movements etc Solution is to go do this in nvidia control panel for the game, limit framerate to your monitor and use that vsync. Otherwise obv most of us can ultramax this out by now. It's geared toward kbm so if you use a controller it's setup typical xbox controller but it does not have a list of what each button does so you will have to trial and error or just use the kbm to do certain things no big deal but they could have at least put in controller button prompts etc This game is like ten bucks on steam and well worth it for what you get compared to thousands of other modern games.

I'm not a sim gamer especially since I'm gamepad and don't have the time or patience for faux sim on a pc nor the money/interest in getting a full wheel/peddles etc setup to make it closer to sim. Better off going to REAL WORLD racing school and/or local club racing imo. I skipped PC2 after the messy game that PC1 was but may give it a try. I play this at mostly medium 1080p so it's not the prettiest but fine for my needs. I get a vsync 60. -I can see what people are talking about, it doesn't seem to carry on the traditional Project Cars franchise of in depth sim but I certainly think it's not nfs level of arcade. As long as people go into it with those in mind it's not too bad. -Not a big fan of the menu system which is a pain to navigate. You can't even tweak the settings until a race or two and they're not that easy to find either. -Setting up custom offline single player races is supposed to give you access to ALL cars etc but that's not been my experience, I only had access to the first crappy car I could buy. Dumb. It's going to take way too long to be able to unlock all the cars for my patience level, too many other games going that are funner for me. -I usually keep one simcade type of track racer on my system so this is it for now. I also have one type of nfs game and the two rally games, wrc and dirt rally which I prefer to track racing games no AI cheating by bumping and no AI non-penalties to deal with in rally games. -I'm guessing that PC2 would be the better option in this franchise if you want the full range of possibilities. With the settings in PC2 you can most likely set it to arcade or simcade levels if you want it so why not just go for that? It's most likely cheaper as well and all patched out, but I didn't have any crashes etc with this one. You can get the "demos" online for all the PCars games. -I'm also guessing that the online racing would be actually more populated in this one then the older games so that's a plus if you want that and want to stay in the pcars franchise.

I wish they would have just went one way or the other, open world or true to the metro cramped underground levels. I like the tactical combat, hated the fake morality system and ending it's tied to. I enjoyed the Caspian and Volga open worlds but they were fairly shallow as far as side missions and exploration. The last level was classic metro as were the first levels. But the filler levels of cannibals, forest etc could have been skipped, adds little to nothing. The obnoxious predictable "taking away all your weapons" to introduce garbage other ones, ugh The cringey dialogue and mandatory stuff that went along with it was really bad. Dumb characters and story overall. STILL has bugs today but the crashing seems to be patched up, if you still have that the answer is usually to turn off aa and turn most things down. I didn't really get into the replaying levels much after finishing kinda boring. SLOW loading times. Map system ****. Boat mechanics are garbage, the mighty commando can't swim I guess and it's very frustrating to find where you can get off the boat in some levels. -DLC 1 is just an extended cutscene with some flamethrower combat, almost could just be a free dlc of cut from the main game flashback etc -DLC 2 is actually pretty good. This is where you can see the garbage that the "map" mechanic is, when you have to go online to find where to go then you have failed game design. Terrible boat mechanics are also highlighted in this one.

I really don't get the hype of this game, it's kinda weird to me really with all the other stuff aside from the combat, very japanese. The maps don't seem that interesting and the cutesy type of story etc is cringe to me. I only played SP so maybe that's it, it might be that the social interaction in relation to fighting monsters is a major part of it. Not interested. --I've beaten a few monsters and am in the second map but I really don't have much interest in continuing, there are games I like way better out there that I am playing now. The incomprehensible menus and controls and counter intuitive nature of so much of the game is a major turnoff as well. This is really for diehard SJ fans only, it's short and features some pretty levels but graphically is at a PS2 level. Gameplay is really at PS2 level as well, very janky combat which isn't too responsive and gets stuck in finishing animations. This doesn't work too well when it constantly throws enemies at you in large numbers. In fact it does this most of the time and gets really old, that's the whole game really besides boss fights which aren't too hard or interesting. --Another thing I didn't care for was the constant closing/opening gates which is an animation you have to watch every time after defeating said hordes of enemies, there are a few other annoying animations of doors opening etc that you have to watch, breaks up the flow way too much. ---Your weapons degrade and need repairing which is an uninteresting way of managing difficulty and also of making it seem to be a longer game than it is. For the simple game that this is this is an unwelcome addition for sure and out of place. - Annoying menu UI etc also doesn't help. No save control, it's all auto and you have to choose the save to continue, why? Like a PS2 game you have 3 slots and you can choose the other two but that's just to start a new game. --Played fine at high settings, you really need to use a gamepad for best results as I did. --I can't really comment on the story and how it relates to the tv series, I watched a season or two back in the day but was never a big fan. --Way overpriced at forty dollars, for that same amount you can get recent or older games that have a wealth of better gameplay and more gameplay. Cash grab. I could see 20-25 bucks for fans of the series everyone else just pass on this. -I'd also like to say that metacritic's embargo on user scores until 36 hours after release is fine BUT please apply that to the game sites as well because they don't play the whole game in most cases before reviewing either and they are VERY much influenced by game publishers to give unrealistic scores through advertising dollars and other forms of bribery. I think it's a pretty impressive game for the small team that worked on it, the graphics are nice at medium settings I play at. It's pretty short with just a main hub area that ties into the 5 or so levels which are all different. I didn't really get into the whole shell mechanic but it was ok playing all of them, why not just use different outfits and still have the shell mechanic? Guess it wouldn't fit in with the whole thing though. There is about 5-6 different weapons that you can get and all of them are pretty clunky and slow imo, combat needs to be faster overall on the players side, I can see this as a way to make the game last longer along with his slow traversal speed. It's very souls like game but the souls 2 and 3 are of course way better. At first it's really easy to walk in circles in the hub but after a bit you sort of know it. I'm not actually sure if I even finished it, I maxed out all the shells and from what I can tell went to and conquered all the levels but I don't remember a ending boss fight, they are not as structured advancement as souls to me. There is little replay value here as there is not enough content at this time and I don't wish to go through it again. If you are all done with the souls franchise to death and really really want something very similar to it then go for it, if you have not played the souls franchise just go for those.

Really good game, Ubi would do well to just abandon the AC part though as it's not one of those, that's kinda why I've played this and origins really. Normally I don't like Ubi AC and other games because they are so whacky social justice perverts and the whole series is antichristian to the core. It should really be called antichrist's creed because that's what it is meant to be by those round hats at ubi. The horrid talk about being developed by different weirdos at the first is so hypocritical it's perverse. Sensitivity to everything except western christian culture, ****. This applies less to the last two AC games because it was before all that, but in Origins you can see the attempt to equate Bayek, the medjay (magi), with Christ which is just perverted garbage. You have to play that story and the Sinai DLC to get that though. The round hats and their buddies are always scheming to program the goy for their world slave state they want so bad. ---Apart from all that this is a good game that goes back to 450 BC or so, it's not educational or historically accurate as the stalinist/commie/1984 ubi would have you believe. It's huge, varied missions and environment are amazing. I just regret only being able to play it at 900p medium settings for ~60fps on my laptop. Drops lower in high npc areas etc but on average is close to that. It's a huge game that you can take hundreds of hours to completely finish or just go through the campaign. I use a trainer to cut out grind so that wasn't an issue for me. I wish they would have made kassandra more female and not sjw pc manlike, the one thing they really needed to copy from witcher 3 is Cyri's body type and combat but this does copy a lot from that game, like origins did as well. I find the mission tracking structure to be annoying at times as it breaks up the flow of a mission, sometimes sub-missions it won't auto track and you have to go find it in the menu to track, if you take on lots of missions that can be hard to do. I love the hawk mode as well, but I don't need a non removable prompt telling me to use Ikaros, let me do it my way. Too many hand-holding prompts in general. But there is so much you CAN do if you want that it's mind boggling, there's the Kosmos Cult, the war campaign, the ship missions, the DLC's and numerous side missions on top of the sizeable main story. Ubi needs to remove the excessive DRM though as that's probably a big reason this game is not too scalable and for even high end systems isn't consistent. A Gog release would be great or just a patch removing all that stuff after 2+ years would be nice.

Good graphics, although the whole game is pretty easy to render and drab office space etc No reason it should be so hard on systems tbh Remedy must have got money from Nvidia. Atrocious map that is largely useless when you are talking about 3d levels and finding your way to some hidden places, very easy to get lost in this endless office space. This is a story about black magic used by organizations for control or slavery of mankind. The so called checkpoints if you notice are just black magic circles except technological but tech worship and satanism are two sides of a single coin really. See all sorts of government programs, military, police forces like the FBI, social revolution etc and you will see this sort of black magic performed publicly with tech and its army of jargonists with degrees, in it's deepest you will have real satanism on kabbalistic lines. This just attempts to bamboozle people into thinking, hey it's funny and weird so it must be good, nonsense. Software like this is mind control programming. Annoying mumbling type of narration and the lead character is sjw to the core, as a christian it's also pretty offensive using the Lords name as a swear word but we live in "modern" wink wink times of the cursed ones dominance, the kabbalists. Get this at a 100% discount. Speaking to that Remedy obviously has writers who are kabbalists and who are into the whole mkultra monarch mind control(which is alan wake's condition btw, probably based on the real stephen king, not his real name btw) that is based on it, among other terrible things. It's good for a playthrough but gets kinda boring tbh, the two dlcs are nothing different, same stuff just more of it. No replay ability. I thought the Fra Mauro reference was apt, this was mentioned in the "something happened on the way to the moon" by a toothy brit-commie woman who was part of long range agitation in the perestroika deception phase of the other major kabbalistic pillar of communism vs. central banksterism/monopoly megacorps. The synthesis of the two by the evil people of antichrist. She mentions a supposed monk, Fra Mauro, who supposedly sat in a cell and drew a map of the "real" world which seems to be close to what they present us with as an accurate "map" today, subtle messaging indeed. In game this accompanies a lunar lander film set, again subtle indeed lol There is a remedy for remedy games.
