ncharted 4 also contains a surprisingly fleshed-out multiplayer mode. Swinging and grappling your way around these 4v4 and 5v5 maps gives you a sense of competitive awesomeness that is a great way to extend the life of the game beyond the sixteen or so hours offered by the main campaign. The three distinct game modes; deathmatch, plunder and command, are all great fun in their own ways and the inclusion of a ranked team deathmatch mode gives you a reason to keep coming back for more. While the multiplayer is very much playing second-fiddle to the campaign, it was a genuine surprise to me when I found myself really enjoying it.

Firewatch

User ScoreSenshudoTV
Mar 24, 2016
Unfortunately, the game really comes apart at the very end. I’ve seen many Steam reviews complaining that the ending was a disappointment and that all of the promise built up during the mid-game was simply discarded. However, I’d have to disagree. I felt the ending was a great, if not bitter-sweet finale. But it was undoubtedly rushed. Characters that ought to have made a visual appearance conveniently left before the game really had a chance to explore them properly and then Firewatch just kind of fizzles out. This is really evidenced by the running time, which is about 4 hours (and I’m being generous there.) Given that the asking price is £15/$20, it’s hard to recommend Firewatch to anyone other than those who truly love a well told story. While I’m really glad I played it and I'm totally torn up about having to give this review a bad ending, I can’t help but feel that there are much better value-for-money games out there right now. Playing Firewatch is like being served the tastiest food in the World and then only being allowed to have a few bites of it before having your plate yanked away and being told to leave the restaurant.

It has everything players could ever want in its gameplay all wrapped up in a visually pleasing package that will have you staring at your screen for hours on end. It’s a shame that the customization we’ve come to know from DICE isn’t there, but I highly suspect that will change in future Star Wars titles, or even in a patch for Battlefront. Every time I close the game, I can’t wait until the next time I log in to have more adventures in the galaxy far, far away…That’s something I wasn’t expecting from this title. Evolve is a tough game to call. On the one hand, despite a plethora of game modes and character variation, some people will find the game gets repetitive quickly, but others will find that what the game does, it does very well indeed. If you're looking for a competitive game to sink your teeth into and start climbing leaderboards, then Evolve will be a feast for you; but if you're after gripping plotlines and gameplay variation, then you may find the plate a little scarce. The graphics are beautiful, dark and brooding, and varied between the environments with awesome weather effects and smooth framerates at all times. The game's audio is also an absolute delight, varying between tense and gripping tracks to bombastic and powerful as required, and when a Stage 3 Goliath hurls a boulder or leap-smashes the Hunters, you don't just hear it, you feel it. Evolve really is one of those games that I can give my opinion on, but it feels entirely subjective and may be entirely different for you. If you're a fan of Japanese music or rhythm games, then this is a no brainer, but if you're on the fence or unsure about it, I'd urge you to at least download the demo from the PSN store and see what you think. If you're fortunate enough to have both a PS3 and PSVita and are unsure as to which version to get, personally I'd go for the Vita one as the game translates perfectly to a portable console and looks every bit as beautiful on the smaller screen - and there's always Playstation TV if you then fancy taking it to the big screen (you can set the Vita to use the analogue sticks for stars too). That said, I was such a fan, that I picked up the PS3 version too (despite also having PSTV) purely to cross-save and watch the videos on a larger HD screen.

For the most part the succeeded. I loved the seemingly endless customization options for each car, and figuring out the best way to get that new upgrade I so desperately needed had me coming back for more despite the issues mentioned above. If they can keep turning out content in a timely fashion that isn’t just money grabbing DLC, they could have a huge hit on their hands.
