While it's a solid action title, DmC doesn't measure up to the queen of the genre, Bayonetta. Ninja Theory's combat and graphic design illustrate their talent, but the weaker environmental exploration and narrative make the game an uneven package. Fans of the action genre may find a lot to love, but for most, this is a title better left in Limbo.

Behind the terrible characters designs and story, hides and amazing plataformer with some exquisite hack n slash **** is a shame this game never stood a chance because its director couldnt keep his mouth shout.
Amazing game, just be sure to get the Definitive Edition, which has some quality of life **** of course, use the classic Dante skin.

The Definitive Edition displays at 1080p and runs at 60 fps. It includes all the DLC, exclusive outfits, a manual targeting option and overhauled combat. Overall, this is a big improvement over the original game. I'd rate it with an 8.5 out of 10.

Played this on the PS3 when it came out. I remember enjoying the game a lot and platinuming it. I came back to it recently after a long time but this time the DE version. The combat and environments are well done. I absolutely enjoyed playing this again in 60 fps. I've played all of the DMC games. While they did deviate from the other games in terms of characters, story and ideas, it was a welcome approach for a REBOOT. The reason I gave this a 9 is the bad writing in the story and the dialogues. Some of it is so cheesy and bad. And also taking away Vergil's fedora (will never be forgotten).
Another thing to note is the soundtrack on this game is so damn SSSensational! Love it. But yeah, overall amazing game.

Simply an improved version of an already great game! It's totally worth it! ! The combat system is both accessible and deep, the art and graphics are incredible, the story is captivating, and the soundtrack is still insane!

This is truly the definitive edition of a great hack and slash game. The exclusive additions may seem dreary, but they actually refresh the fighting system and serve as a return to the roots of the franchise. This is a well-made re-edition.

Dante’s remastering demonstrates that no matter what colour your hair is, a great game remains a great game made better by the frame rate increase and all the extras that come included in the package.

While the fluid and highly enjoyable combat remain intact, the restructuring of collectibles and scenarios such as the final boss tarnish the experience. That’s not to mention that the Definitive Edition doesn’t hold a candle to the two year old PC version from a visual standpoint as there’s a lack of anisotropic filtering and a shinier gloss to Dante’s skin.

They fixed a lot of issues DMC gamers had with it but removed a cutscene and added a few new ones. There is still lost media for this title including songs from combichrist and Kap bambino. Noisia music sounds similar to a remix of Shin Megami tensei nocturne specifically Kat's theme sounds like one of the title songs.

Para ser sincero, no recuerdo demasiado de este juego. Era el primer Devil May Cry que jugaba y no lo sentí tan malo. Es cierto que el Dante original le pega unas cuantas patadas a este, pero es disfrutable. Lo que no me explico es por qué decidieron hacer un reboot, después vieron con el 5 que el público quiere seguir con la línea clásica.

Gameplay is ok with a **** story and cringy dialogue that misses the whole point of the original series. Don't recommend buying it since the original story continuous.
