Genuinely in awe at the sheer production value on display here. Its everything you could want in a James Bond game and more. I know this is a cliche at this point but it really makes you FEEL like James Bond. Highly recommend.

Fantastic first entry to a new franchise. Capcom has been on a generational run these last 8 years and showing no signs of stopping. Can't wait for a sequel if they decide to do one. The relationship between Diana and Hugh and the interesting hacking/run and gun gameplay are the stars of the show with an ending thats enough to make a grown man cry. Fatherhood simulator propaganda and it definitely got my ass. Highly recommended.

Ive played about 12 hours so far up to somewhere in chapter 3 and so far im enjoying it very much. I can see why many formal reviewers scored it low because if I had to rush through this game I probably wouldn't enjoy it. So far Crimson Desert is at its best when you allow yourself to just be lost in it and follow what intrigues you. Ive been on the main missions so far but really the world and how you interact with it is what makes this game so much fun. The story so far has been vague and kind of underwhelming but im still somewhat curious to see where its going. Side quests are a little all over the place story wise with some being funny/enjoyable and others being basic fetch quests. Graphics are one of the biggest selling points here. Im running on a 3060ti with 8gb VRAM paired with Ryzen 5600x. I can run the game natively at 1440p with no DLSS, ultra textures getting about 40-60fps. Its actually pretty well optimized from that perspective. With DLSS theres a fair bit of artifacting but playing on balanced its not too bad and you get a much more solid 60-70fps. The graphics can be kind of hit or miss. When the stars align and youre walking down a detailed cobblestone village road with a hundred npcs running around you and a crystal clear fully detailed snowy mountain in the distance the game is truly one of if not the prettiest game youve ever played. But if you take a closer look at some of the textures they can look kind of bizarre up close. From a medium distance they looks amazing but when your a foot or two away they can look kind of off especially dirt and grass textures. Id say the graphics work more then they dont but just be sure you have a fairly beefy PC if you want to get the best experience. Gameplay is very MMO coded but with some modern Assassin's Creed and Witcher 3 mixed in and maybe a hint of Skyrim. It is very much a time sync game so if youre looking for a game where you can just rush to the next main mission and finish the game in 20-30 hours this is most definitely not the game for you. Ive played maybe a dozen hours and have barely scratched the surface. Those who like to stop and smell the roses and get lost in a sprawling open world and are willing to lose half a day to a game like this will really enjoy it. Combat is pretty fun hack and slash and seems like it has room to be very deep but I cant speak to endgame builds at all since im still very early. Overall id say its an 8.5/10 that could go up or down depending on how the rest of the game goes. Solid and cant wait to see what Pearl Abyss do with it and what they cook up next.

Gotta say Square Enix REALLY stepped it up with this game. Ive played both the original PS1 Final Fantasy 7 and FF7 Remake (part 1) and loved both though i had a rough time getting through the original due to out of date gameplay mechanics etc. The original stands the test of time and I 100% get the hype surrounding what many consider to be one of the all time great video game classics even if parts of it hold up better than others. Great story, music and characters. Admittedly I played part 1 of the remake before playing the original, but going back and playing the OG adds so much to the experience that id go as far to say you can't fully appreciate or understand the remake games unless youve played the original game first. The original remake is great, the graphics are beautiful, it runs well considering everything and it did a fantastic job of translating the story for a new generation while also keeping the core of the FF7 which means so much to so many. Its 100% a tightrope that must be walked carefully and Square does a fantastic job. Final fantasy 7 rebirth doubles down on everything that made final fantasy 7 remake great, and then only adds on to it. Whereas final fantasy 7 remake was a relatively linear game, Final fantasy 7 rebirth is much more akin to an open world game. Every single part of this game fleshes out what the OG was trying to do in such an amazing way it really adds to your overall appreciation of the storyline in these games. If you love story games and RPGs this is 100% a mustplay, though i recommended playing through the original before playing the remakes, you will still get alot of enjoyment out of it if you go in totally blind. Its one of the best RPGs ive ever played and if you consider **** play this game.

I played both before and after the patch and can tell you it is so much better with the patch than without. I still liked Cyberpunk for what it was at launch but there was a bunch of issues with how the game was set up, not to mention the numerous technical issues I had playing on PS5 pre patch. Post patch they've totally re hauled the skill systems and other numerous game play improvements along with all the things like story graphics etc that remain unchanged after 2.0 The game at launch was a 7/10 for me and post patch its a 9.

Ahhh Starfield, the gamr that got me to buy a PC yet is the most boring thing ive played on it. Starfield isnt bad per say, theres fun to be had here and there but overall the experience is an exercise in monotony. InSkyrim I remember just getting so lost, id be on the way to a main mission and find a dungeon, then 20 minutes later im fighting dragon and absorbing its soul. After that id see a barrow and so on and so on. The world fealt so big and like there were interesting things to find around every corner. Starfield on the other hand feels fragmented and uninteresting. Everything is a loading screen and there is no sense of player discovery. The story is so bad its actually laughable. When I heard the word "Starborn" I actually laughed out loud cause I couldn't believe they were taking the whole "Skyrim in space" thing so seriously. You spent 8 years on this game and the best you can do with the story is **** starborn? I imagine Todds smarmy voice saying "Lets just do techno alien Dragonborn and be done with it. Who cares our fans are idiots!" Gameplay is exactly what youd expect and is serviceable, yet every single thing Starfield does, another game does way better. Interplanetary flight? No mans sky. Shooting mechanics? Literally any 1st person shooter. Space story? Mass effect. I needn't go on. This game has potential but it feels like they sacrificed everything that makes a Bethesda game a Bethesda game for a **** Fallout set in space. Immersion is at an all time low and I find myself constantly taken out of the experience by poor performance and even poorer writing. Heres to hoping Bethesda gets their **** together for Elder Scrolls 6. After the last few games its goings to be Bethesdas last chance to course correct and make an actually fun game again. At least for me.

Genuinely extremely disappointed in this game. It feels like they took what was supposed to be the full spiderman 2 game and hacked half of it off and made it into the Miles Morales game from the PS5s launch. The first Spider-Man game took me 30+ hours to finish whereas this game is barely 15 hours even with some side content thrown in. To me it feels like Insomniac took the dev time and manpower they would have used on a fullly featured spiderman 2 and split it between the Miles Morales game and SpiderMan 2. So instead of getting one full long great game we got two short barely 15 hour mediocre games. The story is EXTREMELY predictable and doesnt do anything you havent already seen in every other incarnation of Spider Man. Venom and Kraven were basically the only real villains (whereas the first game had a full cast and secret final villain twist) and both were a massive disappointment. Venom is boring as its own entity and they dont utilize Tony Todd well at all. Kraven barely even feels like hes important to the story and honestly you could take him out completely and it wouldnt change anything in the plot. This game stinks of Sony forcing Insomniac to put characters like Kraven in their game so they can cross promote with their garbage spiderman-less Spider-Man movies (Morbius and the upcoming Kraven movies). I like Harry and Peters relationship but it felt rushed in spots yet they did feel like good friends which was enjoyable. Once again MJ is just kinda off, not bad just, off. The stealth sections with her are slightly better than the first game but still a slog to get through. I enjoy having Miles in these games but it feels like Peters story suffers because they force Miles to be omnipresent in the game. I like Miles and love the spiderverse movies but his over inclusion makes the game feel all over the place and less focused as a whole. I feel it would be better to concentrate on just one Spider Man in each game since including both of them just muddles the experience and makes it so neither of them is very interesting. I really hope Insomniac realizes theyve gone down the wrong road with this game and i hope they course correct in the next game. Its not that this game is bad or poorly designed, it runs great and looks amazing. Its just such a massive step down from the first game that anyone expecting an experience on par with the original should adjust their expectations entirely. Im a massive Spider-Man and Playstation fan so it hurts to say this but I expected so much more than this underwhelming theme park ride.

While I loved the first game and recommend playing it (and Control for that matter) before the sequel, Alan Wake 2 blows the original completely out of the water in both storytelling and gameplay. The best way to describe this game to someone who knows nothing about it would be Resident Evil on acid with a side of Twin Peak which seems to be a mixture made in a lab to be a game I would love. With an enthralling and delightfully weird story the game absolutely is a must play for anyone who loves both survival horror and weird ass games.

As a sequel to breath of the wild, this game is so much more. Those who have played both games can attest to just how much more content there is in this game when compared to what was in BOTW. Not only is there an excess of content but that content is more or less better in every way then what BOTW had to offer. Im not sure Nintendo are native to this planet with how well they understand game design. I would buy an entire console for this game and you should to if thats what it comes down to. Good night and we love the Silent Princess

This game is everything I have always wanted in a Harry Potter game. I grew up playing the movie games and the better ones gave you quick flashes of what a good Harry Potter game could actually be. But they were always held back by being chained to the source material in all the worst ways. This game frees itself from the somewhat convoluted lore of the current day HP timeline. It was genius setting it back in the 1800s in so many ways, yet making sure to keep the familiar atmosphere of whimsical magic weve come to be familiar with. Dont let any dumbass on the internet tell you wether or not you can play a game. Playing this game *does not* make you a transphobe. JK Rowling is so rich if this game sold zero copies it would make literally no difference to her. Dont punish the game developers who have done an outright fantastic job just because JK Rowling doesnt know how to keep her dumb opinions to herself.
