Glad to see such an old series still alive. If you like Street Racing AND RPGs, you have to play this game. It is a pretty repetitive but very addictive gameplay loop. You fight rivals on a unique map (Tokyo ring road by night), win money (XP), upgrade your cars, buy new ones, unlock new skills (there are different skill trees) to become stronger and be able to defeat more powerful rivals, like in a classic RPG. Simple but really satisfying, and it is running pretty smoothly on PS5 Pro. The only downsides I found are, there is no cockpit view, the translation is awfull (even if it is not important for this kind of game) and the price point is a little high, 35-40€ would have been more appropriate IMO.

Re-releasing old games on new gen hardware is a good thing. They did it well, you can activate a nice scanlines filter, the game has been translated in various languages, and they added the original animé song on the menu. This is cool, but a 1990 PC Engine game re-release should not cost more than 12 Euros in digital. 25 Euros is way to expensive for just a tiny slice of nostalgia, sorry.

They've made a lazy 60 fps patch, 40 €uros. They will never learn. I hate this industry right now, it is no more about gaming, it is about money. I cannot wait for another huge crash to clean this mess.

Buy the box version of Yaluza 3 Remastered instead of this. Thank me later.

Not a bad game, but as a DQ fan, I did not liked the excess of accessibility offered in this entry. And even with its bunch of options, putting everything on hard just make the fights longer, not harder. Also, I'm removing a point on the final note as I am extremly disappointed that they removed the casino. Remakes should be better games, removing content is everything but satisfying.

Nice scam Falcom. Repaying the same game twice for an upgrade was insane, but the price is even higher than the orginal game, WTF!? You know what, if one day this "Proud" edition is at 50% off, I will still not buy it. And good luck with your next games, from now on I will wait at least a year before considering buying them.

One of the very best soulslike in terms of gameplay mechanics and boss patterns. Environnements looks a little dull with monochromic color tones, and level design is not as good as in From Software games, but for the rest it is Nioh on steroids, with a way better rewarding loot/craft system.

Trailers sold this game very poorly. The game is actually quite good, it feels like a mash up between Streets of Rage, Final Fight and Double Dragon. Gameplay is great, with lots of features, like the abilty to throw ennemies into interactive environment elements, and other satisfying juggle combos. Graphics are not as bad as trailers shown, image quality is sharp, even if 3D will never reach a good 2D/pixel art render indeed. Musics are great with some great remixes of well known DD tracks and nice new ones. It could had a little more content, but it is overall a pretty good half old school, half modern Beat'em up that is deserving more love.

Probably the worst "remaster" you will ever play in your entire life. It does not fix the main issues the original game had, and add a lot of new glitches. Congrats. (If one day you see this game on sale for around $5, it will still not worth it in that state).

What the hell happened? It runs way worse than Borderlands 3, HOW!? BL3 was running at 4K 60fps on graphics mode on a base PS5, on BL4 it looks blurry with constant frame drops. And i'm not even talking about the lack of options, you cannot remove motion blur, you cannot change FOV (it seems to be around 70, which is awful to play). The UI is also very messy, and there is an obvuois lack of QOL. This game is not bad, but feels it has been rushed by the devs. You should wait for a few months and make sure they had patched everything before considering a purchase.

I really like this game, and if you like roguelites such as Dead Cells, you should definitely consider playing this one.

Looks like it is running on Ps3. Probably the very worst game above $15 available on Ps5. I have asked a refund to the PlayStation Network even though I know it won't happen - but if this review can prevent someone else to be scammed, then you are welcome.

It is pretty, it runs well, but that's it. Boring open world, lack of options and menus, weird hidden stats, illogic balancing, no spectator mode, ... Not a bad game, but the physical version should cost $50 max in the actual state.

What the hell is wrong with this PS5 version? The stuttering is making the game unplayable. I would not have bought this if I had known. Avoid this version until they fix it even for $1.

A technical disaster on PS5. It looks like a free game mode from the main game. Also, this is not what i'm excepting from a FromSoftware game. Include optional PVP/coop in a single player game was fine - turned it into mandatory coop/multiplayer game is not for me. Next.

The very worst MK game ever released. I do not what went wrong during the production of this, but all I can tell is, if you are a true MK fan, then you should avoid this game at all costs or you WILL be disapointed any many ways. You are welcome.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 reminds me why i love to play videogames in the first place. To make it very short, if you enjoyed Jrpgs like Lost Odyssey, DO NOT sleep on this one, or you will miss a true masterpiece. Thank you Sandfall.

A master piece of a puzzle game. Just reach the end after 22 hours of playtime, all i can say is it deserves at least the same attention Blue Prince had. The strange atmosphere is awesome, the story is intriguing, and the soundtrack is a true marvel. If you don't mind stay a dozen of minutes in front of a notebook trying to figure out a riddle, then you HAVE to play this game.

I love this game so much. To make it short, it is a Xenoblade Chronicles 1.5 ++, with everything much bigger and a more "MMO" vibe. The only 2 downsides to me are the fact that a Nintendo Online subscription is now required to use online features, and the technical aspect that is nerfed by the Switch - a 1440p/60 fps would have been top notch.

Very disapointed with this MH episode. The lack of difficulty remains on the endgame, and even on a 8 star Tempered Arkveld hunt, you do not even need an optimized gear to easily succeed. Crafting new armors and weapons is just a matter of skin now, and creating builds is useless. It is not about Hunting now, it is just Slaying monsters in a row. Also, everything seems easy to get, rare drops are not rare at all, and gold crowns are way too easy to get (as an example, i only needed to hunt the Rathian 4 times to get the 2 gold crows... 4 TIMES!?). I have already stopped playing it after only 60 hours of playtime (ridiculous for a MH game). I am now replaying World Iceborne and 3 Ultimate. I will just wait for the G Rank update to see if the game finally turns into a real MH, if not, i will never touch it again...

Occidental version has been stripped of some content. If you are fan of Macross (Robotech) original series, you need to buy the japanese version of the game or you will not have access to its content. Shame.

(My review will only covers the technical aspect on a PS5 console - my score is NOT representative of the overall experience.) Let's make it short, if you are sensitive about framerate/smoothness, avoid this game. It looks like it is running at 40 or 45 fps - not 30 nor 60. It is not an issue about slowdowns, but there is a weird constant stutter that make it unplayable for me on my screen.

Incredible old school JRPG. Took me 45 hours to see the ending. Visuals are gorgeous, OST is amazing (well, still the same than in other DQ games, but still amazing), mechanics are great. Story is simple but it is not that kind of RPG - we are here more focused on mechanics, classes, leveling up, findind new gear, unlock new skills, etc. I am litterally amazed by the fact that this game originally released in 1988.

Great JRPG (Persona 5 but in a Fantasy universe), with an awesome OST, a brilliant art style, and an intriguing story - but damn the performances are awful on a base PS5. The resolution is not good enough, and the framerate seems to never reach 60 fps as it should be. Extremely disappointing considering that SMTV, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5R are running perfectly fine on PS5.

It is a simple remaster of a 13 year old game. So what you will get, is the original experience, but with a way higher resolution and a way better framerate (60 fps on PS5). The gameplay remains the same, so do not expect some rework on this part. The price point is very good IMO. I hope we will have other SUDA 51 games remastered like this, like Killer 7, Killer Is Dead and No More Heroes 1.

Master piece, as the original game. I just want to say that i'm sorry for doubting about the skills of Bloober Team. They nailed every single detail, atmosphere or character. It was actually a blast to rediscover one of my all time favorite Survival-Horror.

Pros : + Star Wars universe is very well captured + Art direction is top notch + Music and sound design are great + Can switch between 16/9 and 21/9, and can adjust FOV (on console!) Cons : - Poor gameplay with basic mechanics - Too many glitches, little bugs, annoying things that wouldn't be well received in an AA game, so in this $70 AAA production, it's just unacceptable - Saving system **** (Why in the hell on earth when i manually save on my spaceship for example, if i reload, i will pop in the middle of nowhere??)

I'm not sure why this game has so mixed reviews, but it deserves way more love IMO. It is a really chill game about exploration, farming, upgrading your vehicles and combat, with a nice story and lovely cutscenes. It reminds me a lot of Avalanche Studio's Mad Max game from 2015, but with a more chilly vibe. On PS5 it is technically pretty decent, no idea about the resolution (probably adaptive) but it looks rather sharp on my screen, and the framerate is locked at 60 fps 99% of the time. The only negative point i can find is the weak shadow quality on characters during cutscenes, that's it. It is a really enjoyable experience overall from my 20 hours of playtime (EDIT: now finished with +70hrs). Highly recommended.

It will not worth 10 minutes of your time if it was free. For this price point, you can buy ANY other game randomly, I can assure it will be a better investment than this.

The game is awesome, but here is a thing you need to know. This not a sophisticated simulation like Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen, with a deep realistic gameplay. Everspace 2 is on the arcadish side, with a fun and simple gameplay. That said, if you miss games like Freelancer or Dark Star One, you really should consider to give it a try.

A disappointment. The gameplay while moving and gliding on the sand is good, but in combat it is awful, between the weird camera and the unbearable targeting system not working as you wish 80% of the time. It is also kind of short (not especially a bad thing), but i was expecting a little more than the 12 hours it took me to reach the ending. Finally, the story, cut-scenes and sound effects are quite pathetic (like in a cheap 2000 game). The soundtrack is however pretty nice. I understand it is a "little" game made by a little studio, but why the price tag is so high then?

Is Final Fantasy XVI a good Final Fantasy? I do not know, and I honestly do not care, because it is easily the best game i have played on new gen consoles so far. It is a mix between The Witcher, Dragon's Dogma, Devil May Cry, Asura's Wrath and several FF episodes from FFVIII to FFXV. If you like even one of these games, you will probably enjoy your time with Final Fantasy XVI.

Dead Island 2 is everything i was hoping for. A fun, technically solid, and immersive experience which fully respect the first game. Dambuster Studios nailed it pretty well. Pros : + Good graphics (especially the lighting) + Runs pretty well on PS5 (1800p at 60fps, can also adjust motion blur and FOV) + Fun gameplay, with a lot of different customizable weapons and skills to unlock + You can actually play with physics (water + electricity for example) and set traps + Nice level design with shortcuts to unlock and rewarding exploration + I've completed the main story in 25 hours (solo) with only 45% of total completion + Zombies have a lot of different skins that are changing depending the area you are + Very, very gory (Flesh system thing is a blast) Cons : - You cannot close doors behind you while exploring - Storage locker is way too small (only 16 slots!?) - Low replay value (no new game plus mode yet) - Needs a photo mode

I found this game pretty good actually. I love the atmosphere and there are some nice ideas. It's a good melting between Dying Light and Far Cry with a lot of exploration on a huge map.

I was very excited when I saw that a new Pinball FX was available on the PS store. I love the license and I bought all the FX3 tables. I launched this new version, and only one table was available, at first I thought it was a glitch, but when I googled it, I realized that I had to pay again for all the tables I already owned... I instantly deleted it. Now I'm so pissed, I'm not even sure I'll continue playing FX3, I don't like feeling robbed. AVOID THIS SCAM AT ALL COSTS, on my side i will just pretend this thing never came out.

One of the very best story and character writing of the decade! And if it was not enough, soundtrack is a masterpiece, graphics are lovely, turn based combat is great with interesting mechanics, and the game is quite long with a lot of surprises and twists. If you are nostalgic of the 2D RPG era à la Chrono Trigger, do not miss this gem.
