There’s no doubt that Ys X: Proud Nordics is a great action RPG. Featuring a stellar story and fun combat, the action never gets dull. The new story content and gameplay additions are great, although veteran fans will have to decide if they want to replay the game this soon again. However, whether they dive right in or wait a while, the good news is that Proud Nordics will be delivering a fantastic experience once they pick it up, as it’s the definitive version of Nihon Falcom’s latest RPG.

Ys X: Proud Nordics delivers Adol's definitive journey featuring dynamic combat, memorable bosses, and naval exploration within a world full of new content. This version expands the experience with an additional narrative and a challenging dungeon designed for veteran players who have finished the main campaign. However, the game suffers from excessively similar linear environments and common opponents that make the battle rhythm less exciting over time.

But if you’ve already sailed through the base game, this “Proud” upgrade feels hard to justify at full price: fun extras, sure, yet more DLC-sized than full re-release worthy.

El juego muy divertido y la vuelta de tenerlo español, ojala sigan traduciendo las siguentes entregas. Los personajes molan, aunque me gustaria que Adol Hablase mas, la jugabilidad como siempre muy buena. Lo mejor la banda sonara.

I already bought original PS5 game. I would buy the additional content for 20-30$, but not for a full game price. I feel very bad.

Proud Nordics is the textbook definition of an overpriced re-release. This should have been an upgrade for previous owners of the original Ys X, not a more expensive product than the original game. At most, this should have been a $20 update.

Nice scam Falcom. Repaying the same game twice for an upgrade was insane, but the price is even higher than the orginal game, WTF!? You know what, if one day this "Proud" edition is at 50% off, I will still not buy it. And good luck with your next games, from now on I will wait at least a year before considering buying them.
