I hate to say this, but they did fumble the landing. It is very well produced, and it has an excellent cast that completely immerses you. Unfortunately, I personally felt the last episode was rushed and felt very predictable. It also unravels a lot of previous tensions but still leaves a lot unanswered. I have done two runs choosing two wildly different options and feel the same at the end of both runs.

Eve is a bland main character, and with that the story is also dim-witted. The worlds are detailed but feel empty. The combat is repetitive sadly. The music is surprisingly epic, the bosses are...nothing special. So, if you want to look at this game's biggest "assets" (and boy she has got them) while fighting with a big sword in a post-apocalyptic world you have it right here. I will say it was fun to collect all of Eve's costumes and outfits.

It is much better NOW then when it first launched but it's still unacceptably buggy and the servers are not as stable as I would like. Hacked leaderboard times on a "competitive" game? The game has endurance racing formats but replay mode only lasts 15 minutes? The game sounds good, looks good, drives good, but there is awful progression. The car roster is grand but underutilized due to the "meta", meaning only a few cars are worth driving online.

Potentially, one of the greatest racing games of all time. What you get from this game that not ANY game made today is sense of speed. You are FLYING in this game. It's also an incredibly frustrating game because as you're flying if you hit any barrier or car its instant death of your race, the A.I. will win, no doubt about it- so it rewards perfection which keeps you on your toes. ONLY COMPLAINT is this game is FAMOUS for its awful rubberbanding and the last 1/3 of the career.

When I think of Resident Evil, I think of Survival Horror where traversing a hallway is both terrifying and a strategic decision. This game is MOSTLY Call of Duty Werewolfs and Witches with a busty vampire lady DLC included. It's not the scariest game for the most part. Thats not necessarily a bad thing but it's also not the most intuitive shooter. I was satisfied at the end but not blown away. Worth a play, form your own opinion it might be the right game for you!

The puzzles are absolutely BS towards the end, BUT the gunplay is satisfying, and you get a lot of useful tools to change things up in your favor. This game is creative, it has wonderful music, it's scary, its story is interesting. It pays homage to older titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill but has its own identity due to its sci-fi atmosphere and the way characters tell their story through items you find in the game. Hidden details reveal a lot, take your time exploring. Enjoy!

YET I love this game. This is a very good remaster of a now decade old game. It's an average arcade racer, but to its credit- you drive really well modeled Hot Wheels and the locations you race in are very interesting and well detailed (even if there aren't many) There is also a track editor which is rare for modern racers. There is a heavy emphasis on DLC but it's not mandatory and it's not "pay to win." I wish it had better music; I wish the cars sounded more aggressive; I'm not sold on the drifting mechanics- the cars feel too loose. Still worth a play though.

Even an hour in it feels shallow in its story and gameplay. It does a neat twist breaking the mold of a 2D side scroller and temporarily becoming a 3D game but in the 3D space the game wasn't very clever with its puzzles and frankly unrefined. The story is told to you like you're five years old, and to be fair this game is likely intended for younger audiences but even then, the combat is one dimensional.

For an arcade jet fighting game, I did not expect to put in well over 20 hours of gametime into it. The singleplayer is SOLID! Lots of missions and variety, I love that you can customize the weapons on every jet and the jet itself for more speed or control or stealth, etc. It means you can really get strategic with your choose of aircraft (which there are a lot of) and weapon combo. Multiplayer w/ friends was fun but repetitive BUT the silly laser cannons were hilarious!

Coming from the "rags to riches" era you have to earn all the supercars and work your way up the bosses in the festival- this is the last time you'll see that gameplay in any Forza Horizon game. After this game the developers started handing out hyperarcs like Halloween candy. Horizon 1 runs at 30fps and it is solid but, come on. 30fps? Gross by today's standards. The lighting is bad too- shadow quality is awful. Otherwise, one of the best open-world racers ever.

The developers have improved from the last game, BUT- it still has a glaring issue. Progression. There is none. Yes, you have "missions" scattered around that you have to unlock or and beat in sequential order, but this will take you only a couple to a few hours. They are too easy and go by in a blink of an eye leaving you this vast, empty, open world that quickly becomes stale and pointless. 2023 Take on the game. 9/10 Near perfect sim-cade. Gets you to love racing all over again I'm not going to do the comparison game between other forza motorsports I'm just going to talk about THIS game objectively based on the time it came out and how fun it is today. Cons -Money, if you want every car in this game.... good luck. I think you'll give up. OR maybe you're crazy like me and grind the game for hundreds of hours to afford that 60s Ferrari 250 GTO that costs 20 million credits. Hats off to you if you do it. -Difficulty, idk for me it's too easy, in this game the A.I. drive purely stock vehicles so it isn't hard until you get to the GT4, GT3, LMP cars. Thats when you have to actually try. I play a lot of Forza so maybe I'm just good :P -Unfortunately, you cannot buy the DLC for this game anymore. Which means if you have a vanilla copy you may be missing a decent amount of content, tracks and cars. I don't think Porsche is in the Vanilla game it came out as DLC, BUT there is RUF cars in the vanilla game so you will have Porsche based 911's so it's not all bad. And there is still a large collection of cars to choose from without the DLC. -You can still view online Leaderboard times, but I don't think it's possible to host online games. Local multiplayer is still fun. -Ummmm ya thats it PROS -Menu music. I'm sorry! It's so good I have to put it as the first point. I will literally sit in the menus for an hour just vibing I love it! -Car physics, it feels GREAT! Every car is unique, and it makes for an enticing way to experience cars in a realistic way. -Car sounds, cars sound amazing- especially for 2009 -Car quality and quantity, HUNDRED and HUNDREDS of superbly designed models. Gran Turismo 5 has NOTHING on this game when it came to visual quality of the cars. Not to mention EVERY car had an interior view. -Car customization, the game even rewards you for sticking to one brand by giving you discounts on upgrades. Not to mention every upgrade is branded. Meaning you don't just buy brakes you bought WILWOOD or BREMBO brakes. Those aren't just racing tires those are PIRELLI's. It adds more immersion to see the ACTUAL brands on your upgrades. It makes it feel like your car build is realistic and you could do it in real life. Finally, turning a **** into a track car is always addicting. -Tracks! Lots of racetracks, mostly real ones but a large selection of fantasy tracks that mimic real life circuits or roads and they are all fun to race on and look visually appealing even today. Some tracks are exclusive to this game. -Car variety, I challenge you to go through the car list and think of something thats missing. If you like muscle cars, sports cars, city commuters, luxury SUV's, gt racers, LMP, 90s touring cars, drift cars, historical racers, you name it. They got it. And it's a large list- I think something along 500+ cars. All customizable. -Long career mode. It will be a LONG time before you beat this game. It's got that Gran Turismo 4 length. There are soooooo many events and sooooo many cars to try and use to see which is best at each event. -Tuning, you might not care, but you can alter the dynamics of your car in a pretty realistic way. Camber, Spring Rates, Gear tuning, it's very nerdy but it's fun if you like getting into physics. Every car is important in this game. This is an era where Turn 10 really loved attention to detail. They loved cars and they loved their games they were making. This game doesn't feel rushed despite it releasing two years after the prequel. It feels great to play, amazingly even with the server's down on multiplayer I can still recommend this game. Even for people who have played other motorsports this is worth a visit. Spend some time here and you'll see what I mean. 9/10
