Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty10
Sep 18, 2024
With the dlc i started my 3rd playthrough of the game and all i can say it's a thing of beauty. Cyberpunk is just more than a game it is an experience and you kinda live it throu V's eyes. I even liked cyberpunk back in the day when it was buggy but it worked for me the most of the time so i can't say much negative in general. About Phantom Liberty: it's an expension with a thrilling story wich drags you in like the main game. You get an new map-district "dogtown" new quest of course which can easily mess with those of the main game and a mainstory you won't forget. Of course you also get a new ending but sure no ending you would expect.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree9
Sep 18, 2024
You get what you expect. I don't understand all those negative voices about the dlc even though i'm really critical with the main game. For me the dlc was even better than the main game and i wish i could play it as a stand-alone title. An open world in perfect size. Different approaches to deal with enemys. Fantastic bosses. (sadly reused again) And finally interesting dungeons not that repetetive than in the main game. I enjoyed it a lot even though the final boss was a pain, in terms of too many optical distractions. An overusage of effects is simply a bad design choice and i hope fromSoftware will choose a different path in the future.

Tails of Iron9
Sep 18, 2024
I really love this game. The artstyle and animations are really charming. Gameplay is flawless and combat is so much fun and intense. It doesn't matter if there are only few attacks and possibilities; it only makes the game better in my opinion. In other games you skill a tree and getting constantly new combat additions which you can't remember at all or simply can't use because of your personal skilltree. This game just uses only 4 different attacks and it's always a new challenge because the enemys are all using totally different patterns so it doesn't get boring at all. The only downside of the game is the backtracking. You need to do a lot of sidequest during your run and it's exausting to crawl out of the dungeon to the whiteboard with new quest just to see you have to go back all the way again... This could be easily solved with and universal fast-travelling system or taking multiple quests at once. Hope this will be better in the sequel. But nevertheless a great game absolutely worth buying.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor5
Sep 18, 2024
The game looks decent, story is good and characters are mostly likeable. The downside is the gameplay itself. Open world in this game simply isn't fun because every 3 meters there are 5 locked doors you can't enter unless you have beaten the game and unlocked all abilitys. This totally breaks the imersion of the game. Also most of the "sidequest" are only accessable after the main story. Gameplay is okay, weapon stances are nice and it truly shines in 1v1 bossfights. Fights against more enemys are too caotic and barely managable. Be aware that around 60-70% of the games are climbing and solving puzzles, which is okay but not in that high percentage. It's getting repetetive very quick. Tbh if you play a guy with a lightsaber you want to use it as much as you can. This game would be way better with a linear gameplay and less backtracking. I really would like to rate it higher but i can't because of the previous reasons.

Bramble: The Mountain King8
Jul 15, 2023
Pros: The atmosphere is outstanding without any doubt. Creative and good looking environment Storytelling is fantastic, a great fairytale. Good narrator and beautiful music which intensifies the atmosphere. Downsides: Graphics aren't the best but it's not a big deal. The sounds of the creatures are a bit loud and repetitive sometimes which annoys. Face expressions are pretty cheap. Playtime is short (around 4 hours) for 30 € Worth a buy it's a good indie game in general!

Elden Ring8
Sep 12, 2022
It's hard to rate Elden Ring. For a "Souls-Veteran" (like me) it was definitely fun to play. But i can't agree with people calling this game "revolutionary" because it's simply wrong. Indeed compared with Dark Souls or other FromSoftware-titles it has an open world, a horse you can ride on and interesting additions like weapon-arts and ghost ashes. These Ashes are maybe the only new invetion Elden ring came up with. In my opinion the open world is way too big, and looks blunt at so many places. combat on horse isn't fun at all and dungeons like the most bosses are repetetive like hell. Seriously dungeons are the worst. Maybe 5 % of them are different to others and they all contain a boss we have already seen before somewhere. Anyway beside the justified critic (according to me) elden ring is a great game. It shines in common FromSoftware-strengthes: Character and monster design, beautifull environment (legacy dungeons like academia, stormveil castle or house volcano) and a great combat system with awesome bossfights. If you cut away 90 % of all dungeons (because they are all the same) and cut down the open world to a half i would defenitely say this is a masterpiece, otherwise it's a solid fun game with strengths and weaknesses. (8/10)

Cuphead8
Jan 22, 2022
At first glance cuphead didn't look like a game i would play. At videos and trailers everything looked so full and overwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the artstyle either. But after the game was on sale i gave it a try and it was surprisingly fun to play! The screen is full of projectiles but it's truly different than watching a video of cuphead. It's also really challenging on normal-mode so you really have to be patient and try out different tactics or playstyles for every boss or level; A 2d-jump'n'run "soulslike" if you want. Soundtrack was very charming and tbh i also kinda felt in love with the artstyle and the animations. If you are patient or searching for a challenging game i can highliy recommend cuphead to you.

Little Nightmares II9
Nov 5, 2021
Even though i'm not a fan of the horror genre i really enjoyed little nightmares 1. The second one is even better! It hast a slightly longer playtime and even more clever gameplay-mechanics. The synergy between Mono (the main character) and six (the little raincoat-girl from the first one) is fantastic. With a stunning atmosphere it feels like a real thrilling horror-adventure. I can highly recommend this game!

Cyberpunk 20778
Dec 26, 2020
Ok, i played the game now for around 12 hours the last 3 days on my ps4 slim and it's actually not that bad as expected. I followed the news and was not very amused about what i heard about the game. So, on the one hand many things are true: -some of the textures look really cheap and sometimes it takes a while till the loading is complete -frameratedrops also happened to me but not often and what is most important: not on exciting places or during combat action! So this is a relatively common thing in games nothing worth hating the game! -Sadly the game crashed two times in my 12 hours gameplay, which is also less often than i expected, still recommend quicksafe often. -Indeed it has some glitches and bugs, but also nothing which could make the game unplayable. Conclusion: The disadvantages and bugs we heard about in the recent days since release are true but on the other hand in Version 1.06 (current version) it's totally playable. Fighting is mostly flawless, till now i had no lags or FR-drops during shooting. Visuals look stunning at least in quest-conversations and during driving (car and asphalt) which is a big part of the game! Either way i'm not that interested in best visuals, i would always prefer gameplay and story over a great look, so maybe my review is way more positive that the others. So if you are a guy like me who prefers story and gameplay over visuals, this is a game I can recommend on the ps4 (at least if you don't posses a high end PC) If CDPr manages to fix the bugs and issues of the game, we will have another masterpiece. (and a solid 9 or 10)

May 3, 2020
This is a pure art-game. Don't expect deep mechanics or advanced gameplay. Gris was a really lovely adventure. The art-style is so beautiful and the animations are also great. Soundtrack is fantastic. Beside the good things of this game, it didn't dragged me that in like it should. It's 90 % walking and jumping around to solve some puzzles to get a stunning art-scene with a great soundtrack. So after solving one or two puzzles I had enough because it got kinda boring. Artstyle and soundtrack: 10/10 gameplay: 4/10

Gameplay, storytelling and Lara itself are really great. But i couldn't stand these action camera which is wiggling all the time. Because of that i couldn't play longer than 1 -2 hours because i got sick a bit. xD but that's probably just a personal problem. I also was kinda disappointed of the environment because it didn't looked like Japan. That was really sad. Still a solid game overall.

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition8
May 3, 2020
A great game but not perfect in my opinion. Gameplay is smooth and the game itself is challenging. The art-style is unique, interesting and kinda cute but it's also simple. What i liked the most is the soundtrack. Nearly every song is a masterpiece! Things that bothered me a bit: benches are irregularly distributed on some points. Also the thing that you can't quick travel to them is a bit annoying Traders or npc's are also wide spread all over the world. Especially in early game it's exhausting to search some of them to spend all that geo you collected. It's indeed like a soulslike but not that comfortable.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order7
Apr 7, 2020
This one is pretty hard to rate. On the one hand it's that kind of Star Wars game I always dreamed about. Only Singleplayer with a from Software-gameplay, a very nice story with great characters. It also has a neat Soundtrack and a great level design. On the other hand the gameplay isn't that smooth as you expect. Parrying is slightly different than it is in Sekiro (compared with Sekiro because it has many similaritys) . It works great when it comes to block/parry blastershots but parrying monsters didn't worked very well for me. In a 1v1 duel or a boss fight combat is simply awesome! When it comes to a fight with multiple enemys it's just confusing and difficult. Crowd control isn't that good in my opinion. There were also way too much dungeons and climbing passages in the game. They were executed mostly fine but when it comes to Star Wars I prefer fighting! Things they are absolutely not acceptable: -loading time. Seriously after dying you have to wait OVER 40 sec to respawn.. After the loading time the game is still loading: textures or enemys for example. On several points i was able to walk through a platform without fighting because the enemys spawned to late. When i realized that i had to wait after a damn long loading time. This kind of stuff totally killed the fun for me. Especially when you play on the hardest step and fight against a boss that "oneshots" you. -second point: glitches. During my playthrough i glitched a bunch of times through the wall and falled "out" of the game that i had to quit and reload the game. I lost a lot of time. I would guess around 1-2 hours of progress. Nearly 5 month after release I can expect a bit more **** than that. On some points in the game enemys stuck inside the wall or had no animation. Fortunately it happened not that often. Still, because these points my rating is going down from 8.5 or 9 to 7 points out of 10. With this rating the game gets away pretty well. It's kinda sad because the potential is on point the game just got released unfinished in my opinion.

Easily one of the best games ever made! Also in my personal top three games of all time. Everything in this game is pure gold. Pros: - Greatest character's and story's ever created - fantastic gameplay - giant universe with a lot of great places and their own story - interesting, intense story with a stunning finale in the end - male or female character with a class you can choose - I also like the fact you can import your char from the first Mass Effect - awesome DLC (Shadowbroker) in wich you can continue your romance with Liara - momentous decision-taking - extremely high replay-potential cons: - nearly none, maybe the DLC is too expensive but it's definitely worth it!

Pokemon White Version9
Mar 28, 2020
For a long time I took the opinion only the first (and maybe the second) generation is great. I saw some of the Pokemon of the 4th and 5th generation and tought to myself: "what the hell went wrong with Pokemon?! These creatures look so ugly!" Someday I gave this generation a chance with no high hopes; I'm so glad that i dit this. I got a fantastic game with a beautiful and interesting story from the beginning. (Maybe the best storyline in all pokemon-games) It also feels totally new with so many new Pokemon and a giant (but beautifully designed) map. Anyway i totally understand people when they say "those Pokemon look so ugly!" - they are kinda right... I still dont like the designs of the legendaries to this day. But after a few hours in-game you will learn to deal with them and kinda fell in love with some of them. So 9 out of 10 because the Pokemon-design is lacking a bit. Let me tell you, I was absolutely sceptical before playing this game. But I can highly recommend it if you are a Pokemon-lover like me.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition7
Dec 30, 2019
I'm a huge fan of the artworks that's why i played this game. But it turned out as a nightmare. Not because of the difficulty (ok maybe a little) it's more the fact that this game is not that friendly to new players like the second or the third (which I played multiple times). Also the fact that you can't travel around, till the half game is "over" is really annoying.

Nioh8
Dec 7, 2019
Nioh is a really great game but it is not perfect. I really liked the overall look of the game. The story was ok and entertaining but it could be better. Gameplay and combat couldn't be better! That's what makes this game so great. All the options and skilltrees were way too much in my opinion. I barely used nothing of all that stuff. On the one hand it's simply too much reading into all of that on the other hand it makes the game extremely easy with slowing the enemys or revive after death. Looking back the magic and ninja-skilltree is a great way for people who don't want a soulslike-game. What I absolutely don't like is the looting in the game. Every weak enemy drops around 2 clothes or a weapon... it's super confusing and unnecessary. (that's exactly what I don't like in Diablo 3) The second big point which bothered me were all those side-quests. I would be fine with it, if they aren't necessary for beating this game. If you don't play them you are extremely underleveled. Why I don't like them? Because they are the same areas which i played some minutes before in the main quest... Without story or a special boss, really boring!

I don't like this game... I played it two times and i really wanted to like it (because i love Bioshock 1&2) but it doesn't work. It all began great with the lighthouse and the setting in the clouds, but after 1-2 hours playing it simply got boring and exhausting. Always shooting against the same enemys every ~2min. I don't know how to describe but it's also so damn loud every time the "action" starts.. which really annoyed and exhausted me. Interesting enemys like the handyman's got added way too late in the game. I also didn't enjoyed the story neither. It has some interesting part's like the Vox and Fitzroy but sadly not that many to enjoy this. For that, that this game is so heavily story-based it's way too confusing. I'm even didn't got it completely in my second playthrough, that i had to read it after.

I really didn't enjoyed this. Which is really sad because it was my fullfilled wish for christmas in that year. It all began with the character-design witch is only made for console. Fine, then i'm playing with a random dude barely changed.. After leaving the Vault it was actually hard to find any quests.. Also the whole world was really boring in my opinion. What i liked were your followers, pretty cool designed characters. But overall it was a unnecessary game. Compared to Fallout 3 and New Vegas it was 90% the same, with some wrong new stuff. (For example the crafting.. gosh what a crap!)

This is not a bad game it's just the worst Mass Effect-Game. I really had fun playing it. But compared to the Mass Effect Trilogy, some things went terrible wrong. - the face expressions - the overall look of the worlds (only 2 were interesting in my opinion) - the charakter-writing (again only 1-2 chars were pretty interesting) - redesign of the asari (what the hell went wrong with them they look awful?!) - bad story or teammate-missions - only two (if you want literally one) new specie(s) - boring exploring (I mean why i should scan al those plants and stuff?!) This game is great! Don't trust those crybaby-hardcore-"soulsfans". Their only argument is this game is only difficult because there are so many enemys on some places not longer less good programmed ones. This may be true on one or two areas but it's also the case in Dark Souls 1. Those players simply don't like it because it's not Dark Souls 1. Im really glad i started my Dark Souls adventure with this game. The areas look beautiful and also the design of the enemys and NPC's are one of the best in all games ever. (together with the other Souls-games) The mechanics and the leveling-system is way more comfortable than in the first. Also the travelling-system is better and the best of it: you can use it from the beginning. But a controller is highly recommended. If you have one, buy this game, it's a beauty!

If you buy this game, you will get what you expect. Compared to the N64 version, it hast better visuals (obviously) a bigger move-set, more areas (sadly not longer hyrule castle) and of course more fighters.
