Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced8

This is a breath of fresh air in today’s gaming. From the bloated open world AC “RPG” games to a return to this straight forward, classic AC narrative action **** been a blast. I never played the original, but I see why it was beloved by so many. Great game play, beautiful world and interesting story…what more could one want?

Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred9
Apr 30, 2026
If you are a casual player, if you like Diablo 4, you will thoroughly enjoy this expansion. The Paladin and Warlock are perfect additions to the game and Skovos is a breath of fresh of air and has been enjoyable to explore. If you are a hardcore player and want Diablo 4 to be a hardcore experience, it simply isnt for you. This game is not trying to be that and probably never will....this is designed for casual and that isnt a bad thing.

Crimson Desert9
Mar 27, 2026
Crimson Desert is such an amazing experience. It is a game that you really dont want to rush. Beautiful world, interesting characters and so many things to discover. 25 hours in and I feel like im just scratching the surface. The dev team has done a great job fixing issues that shouldn't have been in the released product, but hey, better late than never I say. There are still some issues with performance on console when you enter towns, hopefully they can fix this sooner rather than later. I haven't enjoyed a game to this degree since Elden Ring...a must buy!

Alan Wake II4
Mar 7, 2026
I have tried twice to get into Alan Wake 2. I have only made it a couple of hours in each time. It is a slow, dull burn. My time is valuable and there are too many other games out there that are more deserving of my time. Graphically the game is amazing and maybe the story gets really interesting down the line, but Im not going to keep playing hours on in, with that hope in my mind. A whole lot of walking around and my God the mind place is such a waste of time, pouring through data that does nothing to push the story forward. Everything in this place could just be experience in real time in the world vs going to this room to pin **** to the wall....time to move on.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade8
Jan 31, 2026
FF7 Remake is a solid 8.5 out of 10. The game looks amazing, combat is very fun and performance is phenomenal. I agree with the common sentiment that the game has a bit too much padding and Im not crazy about the narrow, linear pathways...I would have preferred a little more open space. If not for the game padding and drawing the story out a bit too long, this would have been a 9 out of 10 for sure. Definitely worth a buy!

Ghost of Yotei7

However you felt about Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei will make you feel the same. For me it is another very beautiful game with not much else to offer. I cant put my finger on it, I want to really like this game, but something is **** just ok. It feels like a slightly better version of the last 3 Assassins Creed game. Wait for a sale.

Old School RuneScape8
Jul 16, 2025
I am a new player and I have already spent many hours with OSRS (became a paid member after about 10 hours) and it has been one my favorite time killers. I’m sure hardcore players are far more invested and serious about the game, but as a casual player, it is a perfect game to chill with. There is something very cool about receiving rewards after a long grind or quest…I can definitely feel the impact of the efforts made. If you are a player that wants instant gratification, this isn’t for you, but if you like a slow, methodical journey, this is perfect.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 337
Jul 14, 2025
Overall this is a pretty solid title. I have a had a change of heart with the game. It is still a solid title, but horribly designed boss Sirene, has put in the "I dont want to continue" zone. The horrible camera zooming way out during battle, makes it difficult for me to even know what is about to happen. How to prepare for an attack that you cant see? Im sure if I fought the boss a dozen time, I would finally understand what is happening, but the fight is so long and drawn out with dancing animations, that I dont have the desire to sit through it. Maybe I'll come back to it next year.

Elden Ring Nightreign4
Jun 21, 2025
This is totally unfair of me and I acknowledge this. I hope this game flops for entirely selfish reasons. I am a fromsoft fan for one simple reason....their souls games. I am aware that fromsoft makes other games and thats totally cool. However, when they take one of the best game franchises of all time and turn it into a 3 player, roguelike, it is really annoying. I hope these lower scores will let fromsoft know that this is not what their fans really want from them. Armored core would have been a better IP for this type of game, not a slow paced single player, difficult game series that sweeps a person into a land far far away, that is filled with magic, gloom, danger and some of the best adventures that I have ever experienced. Please **** more of this :)

Gran Turismo 74

How is it that these great franchises keep getting ruined? The driving is very stiff and it feels like the track is moving around the car vs the car driving around the track, if that makes sense. Boring, repetitive, pointless.

Assassin's Creed Shadows4
Mar 21, 2025
This is just another re-skinned "RPG" that has the same repetitive game loop as the last few AC games. The same simplistic, repetitive combat....just spam a couple of buttons over and over and over. It's almost as if Ubisoft added controversial content so no one would talk about how boring and lackluster the game actually is. This entry, just like the entries from recent past are fine to play if you like to keep your hands busy while you listen to a podcast, but wait a few weeks to catch it on sale.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut9
Mar 14, 2025
Well, I have finally completed Death Stranding. It has been, by far, the most unique gaming experience I have had in my many years of gaming. I must say now that the game is finished I am both relieved and a bit saddened. I am relieved that it is over (for this type of game is much too long) but I am sad that it is done, because the game did have a deep effect on me. The world is beautiful even though it is a bit empty. The human interaction during the games cut scenes is deep and interesting. Great voice acting and very compelling story. I have said it to myself many time, I love that I hate this game and I hate that I love it. Now that the story is complete, I can finally move on, but the game will be missed. It is a single play through game, never to be touched again, but what an experience it was. The game is very much like a great novel...parts of it dragged on and then there are areas that are real page turners...I didn't want to turn it off. If a person can.make it through the first three episodes, you will be rewarded with a once in a life time gaming experience.

Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition7
Mar 12, 2025
This is a very vanilla game. Not breaking any new ground here...things that we have seen many times before, stealth, lock on, gliding, climbing, standard melee combat, long rang bow. The ony thing that does set this game apart from others is the visual feast that is offered. A beautiful game with a so, so story and boring dialog.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II10
Feb 6, 2025
If you liked the first game, the second one is even better. I have played for about 9 hours andI have come across only 2 bugs. One, my dog walked through tent walls and the other is one of my quests was missing a quest marker. Other than that, everything else has been improved. The combat is much more forgiving, which is great…combat in the first game was a clunky mess! Lock picking and archery is much easier as well….great job WarHorse. I haven’t seen any DRI woke BS yet…If I do, I will report back. After completing the game, I can honestly say that this is as close to a 10 out of 10 game that one could get. Yes, there are a few things here and there that could be improved, but ****!...what an experience! The final battle gave me a "hell yeah!" feeling that I would get as a kid during the final battle of an epic movie. Such a wonderful world, interesting characters...I am a bit sad that it is over. Changing my previous score from a 9 to a 10!

DOOM Eternal6
Dec 5, 2024
For what Doom Eternal is, the game is well developed. It is a very smooth and fast paced experience. The game is also a visual feast. These three things is what Doom Eternal does very well. What I dislike about the modern Doom is the parkour, enemy weak spots and death sequences that one is forced to watch over and over...these are gimmicks that I can do without. I prefer the old school Doom. It was just a straight up first person shooter that had a mixture of fast paced moments, mix with less intense moments as well. I recently started playing Prodeus and this game scratches the old school Doom itch....I have been blasting away for hours with a smile on my face.

Wow! I absolutely love this game. This game is more Doom like than Doom Eternal. This game has a very classic feel...really takes me back to the earlier days of Doom. A straight up kill as many demons as possible to escape the current **** and dont forget to find all of the secrets along the way....bravo! Game play is very smooth and the finely pixilated art is wonderfully done. TThe classic heavy music really gets the blood pumping. As far as difficulty goes, on normal, its pretty easy, only dying due to my own carelessness. The difficulty can be changed to suit every player.T One last thing the pacing is a bit slower like old Doom, not like the current balls to the walls mechanic of current Doom titles.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition7
Nov 17, 2024
The Outer Worlds feels very basic. Obsidian feels very much like a Bethesda game 20 years ago, this style of game play was fun and interesting back then but unfortunately Obsidian and Bethesda seem to be stuck in yesterday with their game play mechanics, environment, world building and story telling. Simply moving from one area that you load into, clear that area and move on to the next. It is basically a reskin of this same old formula. If you have ran out of things to play and the game is on sale, go for it. Otherwise you can skip this one and you wont miss much.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree7
Oct 19, 2024
Nothing new here. More difficult, which it should be, very confusing at times to traverse the open world. Speaking of the open world, not much going on here. There is no sense of wonder and I dont feel excited to explore like I did in the base game. Repetitive bosses and odd boss placement. Now for the positive...game plays very well, just like the base game.Cool new armor and weapons to try out. If you enjoyed the base game, give the DLC a try, but keep your expectations in check.

The Ascent6

The game is absolutely gorgeous and the world itself is very interesting. I could see this game being phenomenal on PC with mouse and keyboard. However, the shooting mechanic with a controller is very awkward. It is very hard to point and shoot accurately while on the move.

What can I **** game is gorgeous, character control is pretty solid. I have enjoyed the story and I really like how the character leveling process is well paced...they never throw too much at you...easy to incorporate the new stances into your fighting style. Also, changing fighting stance during combat is a breeze. .

Kingdom Come: Deliverance8
Aug 11, 2024
Lots of good fun here. I love the world that has been created and the protagonist has a beautiful naivety to him. The story is great and there are many great side characters. The combat is very clunky and slow paced, which I understand they are leaning toward realism hard in the is game, but it definitely subtracts from the overall experience.

This could have been an absolutely amazing game. MTX are not cool in a 70 dollar game...I think most of us agree with that. I would have rated it a 9 out of 10 if there was a performance mode. 30 fps in a next gen title priced at 70 dollars is unforgivable...such a shame, this title would have been a no brainer for a game of the year nomination.

With so much to do in such a large landscape, it is very easy for hours to pass by in the blink of an eye. My first crpg was divinity original sin and I could not get into it, no matter how many times I tried. BG3 had me hooked instantly. With such beautiful environments, cool story and most importantly, amazing characters that I actually care about. I have even enjoyed the turn based combat…once I learned the strategy of it all. Great game! The only thing that stops me from giving it a ten is the annoying turn based combat with the environment. Many times you can exit that mode of play, but it is pretty annoying for this to even be a thing…a turn base puzzle of ****?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt7
Aug 22, 2023
Visually stunning. Story, fantastic. Combat, atrocious. Are people that give this game a 9 or 10 totally ignoring the elephant in the room which is the actual combat? Character is slow to respond during boss fights. Lining Gerald up to pick up items or to interact with anything is very annoying....dont even get me started on roach. If the controls were improved then Witcher 3 would be a 9 or 10 for sure.

Elden Ring9
Aug 17, 2023
It has been a very long time since I have enjoyed video games. Elden Ring changed that. I love the fact that it is up to the player how deep into the game they want to go. There is very little hand holding here. The more I started chasing the story and leveling up my character, the more enjoyment I received from the game. Elden ring is the only game that I have ever played that I had 100% completion.

I enjoyed the campaign even though it is really short. After level 50 the game is extremely boring…the campaign is the only thing keeping me from giving it a zero. I’m kinda over of these AAA developers rushing, what could be great games out to the public.
