Not his best for me. But still a fan. Not sure why the last two films didn't match up....

Wow this was bad. Boring story, horrible script and acting. Cameos by some known actors who cashed in on a day or two of work. I'm glad I didn't pay to see this.

Its not a great story but the action and stunts are great. Its as narcissistic as Cruise himself though. Hey team, go do this other stuff to help me, and I'll save the world for us. I may need you later.

Bleh. The obligatory Marvel movie. We used to sit in long lines to see these, we cheered for Gods in those movies, awaited the next episode impatiently. Now we're asked to support "The Adventures of Not Captain America and Wing Boy". If this were an actual comic book, it would spend a day on the sales shelf and a year in the discount bin along with titles like "Nate Shouber: AquaMan's Cousin" and "Falafel Girl". The world needs distance from superhero movies for a while.

What a horrible vanity project. This proves Hollywood just can't help themselves. What's next, a musical based on Silence of the Lambs? I regret seeing this movie. I want my two hours back.

I'm betting the low scores are from people who didn't even watch the film. The grifters highlighted in this film SHOULD make you feel embarrassed. The world needs to reject this divisive, self hating ideology.

I'd rather watch a 13 year old on Twitch play the entire Borderlands game series on a live stream while explaining their political beliefs.

Great story but the structure was a poorly executed gimmick. I felt a linear timeline would have had much more emotional weight. The villains weren't well drawn and a bit comic bookish. Viggo is great. Worth seeing but fell short of my hopes.

On the fun scale, a 10. On the story scale, a 5. The movie is a fun romp, the two buddies are great to watch. Its fantastic fan service. The story is pretty dumb, but at least it ends the whole multiverse nonsense. You won't be wasting your money.

ATJ fails at playing a wasteland survivor who posed as a boy for most of a decade and fixed cars. Maybe don't supermodel runway walk though the scenes? At least Charlize Theron was more believable as a badass, and in a much better film.

A bit of a mess. The writer wants you to believe he was some military genius, but only shows you the extent of his strategy is telling the cannons when to fire. They want you to get swept up in his romance, but portray him as some lovesick dope. They want to tell an epic story, but can't decide which epic part of the story to focus on. The acting was boring and inconsistent. The photography and production design were outstanding however. Such a let down.

Very weak. Could have been much better with a good director and solid actors. The whole thing felt like bad European TV. There are much better mystery/conspiracy/thrillers out there.

Some good hard laughs but the plot is a little bland. I'd rather see Bill Burr more angry and exhasperated. Bobby Cannavale is solid in most comedic roles and this one works well for him. Not bad as a first film for Bill Burr.

Pretty disappointing. I was hoping for a lot more of a suspenseful story. A lot of story points were super dumb. The acting ranged from average to laughable.

Just like the comics, DC is just copying everything Marvel does. Its pathetic. Multiverse? Check. Team ups? Check. Fan bait cameos? Check. This genre is cooked. Movies are terrible now.

Pretty predictable story and better acting than expected. A few laughs. His dad seems like a good dude, too bad he's honored by such a lackluster movie.

Another shoot-em-up adventure but one done very well in the technical aspect. Amazing shot design and fight coordination, from crowd scenes to individual fist fights. Its in the realm of John Wick in that regard, as a groundbreaking technical work/series. The story and acting are not the strong points. Its a roller coaster, not a passenger train.

Horrible. I couldn't finish it. I enjoy Charlie Day and had very high hopes for this movie but holy smokes I just couldn't stomach this. The problem is the hypocracy of Hollywood types lampooning themselves in a movie. Like so many, I guess I'm just not interested in the celebrity world anymore. I just want an interesting story. Give me an engrossing plot with no-name actors any day. We're tired of narcissim on display, even parodies of narcissim on display.

So today I watched a movie about a cell phone and one about a basketball shoe. This one was good as well. I wonder if movies based on popular culture objects will be a new thing?

Far more engaging than a movie about a cell phone should be. Good cast, solid writing, competent direction.

Lots of his fans fawning over it but here's the truth about the movie: we were expecting Borat and got Ishtar. The technical aspects of the movie are okay, but the acting is rough and the writing/story is clumsy. The emotional tone really seemed forced and fake, which is critical for a comedy, just ask Steve Martin and Adam Sandler. The jokes were flat, apart from some throw away lines, and the funniest parts were in the trailer. Bert is great at standup comedy and self promotion, not making movies, sadly. Its hubris. He's relying on all the people that fill auditoriums for him to fill theaters as well. The difference is that his standup performances are vetted and edited over hundreds of performances in front of live audiences. This movie felt like a first draft. I hope this doesn't scare studios off from backing comedian made movies from now on, and I hope other comedians are taking notes on how to promote a film, just not how to make one.

Huh? What movie was everyone else watching? I'm sorry but this was full of so much ridiculous, over the top nonsense that it bordered on the cartoonish. At least work for logical continuity. At least try for suspension of disbelief. This movie was just a string of unbelievable action scenes that seemed were meant for Beavis and Butthead to get excited about. Its a 4 only because its technically sound and the first act is set in a gorgeous part of the world. But holy smokes is it junk after that. Couldn't finish watching it.

Meh. Its good enough for a basic superhero movie but its not mind blowing. I'm not a fan of the Rock as an actor- he just always seems like a miscast wrestler to me in everything he's in, but at least this fits his body type.

It lacks the comic star power but its a very entertaining and well written comedy/mystery. Good, old school entertainment.

Trust me. Everyone this movie was made for, paid to see this movie. Every one of them. It hit its mark perfectly so this film served EXACTLY who it was designed for. If you make a film for that few customers, don't whine about lack of broad appeal and loss of sales.

Fans who hold Marilyn Monroe as some Hollywood deity aren't going to like this story. Not that she's the villain, but that she was such a damaged victim. Ana de Armas is very good in this. Yes its racy, and unflinching, but its refreshing to see her story told with so much of the glamour stripped away. In a sense, this may be how Norma would have wanted her story told.

Seriously??! Talk about 'woke' washed history. Take a minute and learn about the history being misrepresented here. THIS MOVIE GLAMORIZES SLAVE TRADERS. The British Navy actually had to blockade the ports of this country to prevent them from selling their fellow Africans. France fought TWO WARS to stop them from trading slaves. Who in their right mind would agree to make this movie??

The call backs to the original film, like the shirtless ball game, were pretty lazy but overall a great movie. It captured the excitement of the first film well, and provided great escapist entertainment for a few hours. Well done.

The effects were pretty good but the acting, writing and direction were bush league. The story is an insult to a great idea that Crichton had decades ago, and to bring back the original cast just to embarrass them like this is unforgiveable.
