Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

At just over 120 minutes, though — a blink in Marvel time — this Ant-Man is clever enough to be fun, and wise enough not overstay its welcome. Who better understands the benefits, after all, of keeping it small?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has just enough heart, humor, and excellent performances to make up for its more underdeveloped aspects.

Imagine a Roger Corman film made with the combined budgets of every Roger Corman film and you are halfway there.

Maybe the pictures should get small again; it might be the only way to save an MCU that seems dangerously close to getting too big to do anything but fail.

If the story was clunky but the look of the movie was confident, assured, and engaging, there would be something to write home about. But in trying to do everything with Quantumania’s story, screen effects, and setting, Reed doesn’t create much of anything.

Until some sort of creative second wind blows in, casual moviegoers and deeply invested fanatics may have to simply keep enduring overly familiar, frustrating placeholders like this. Quantumania revolves around a powerful villain who wants to control time. The movie itself is merely killing time.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an atrocious movie, but it’s atrocious in a way that Marvel movies rarely are.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania might not be the best MCU film, but does it really deserve to be criticized like that????!!!! Having the lowest score among all other MCU movies, that is just ridiculous!!!!!! The movie has really great visuals which I love how they made the Quantum realm, and with some decent actions, but most importantly, the acting from Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror is just brilliant, undoubtedly the best thing that came out from the film. Overall, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a good movie, even though there are rooms for improvement.

While this was the first big screen appearance for Kang his performance is lack luster and the humour this time around feels uncessary and forced at times. This movie did have nice visuals and animations to entertain viewers but inevitably ends up being an underwhelming film as a whole.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a fun and enjoyable movie with a lot of mistakes. The concept is great and the story is intriguing in the beginning. But later it starts to mess with the multiverse concept and the more they go into it, the less sense it makes. The characters are good and sweet. Ant-Man is still one of my favourite characters in the MCU and his family is also adorable. I loved Cassie, it was great to see her as a teenager. On the other hand I dislike the villains very much. Kang's actions don't make sense. MODOK is also ridiculous. I didn't enjoy his involvement in the movie even though he is very important to the whole story. The cinematography is very mid, while the production design is good. The design for the creatures and the world is amazing, but the execution is extremely poor. I think I haven't seen such terrible looking visual effects in an MCU movie before. The cast is great, I loved Kathryn Newton as Cassie. The acting performances are great, Paul Rudd is awesome. He is just a nice, charming guy in this role. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is enjoyable, but its cinematography is bad and the visual effects are terrible.
