The game is a decent time and I had an overall good experience with it. Making your own character in the universe with a slew of hundreds of weapon combinations to use helps make your time with it more enjoyable. Though the issues I had with the difficulty as well as the super repetitive nature of the game makes it leave a slightly bad taste in your mouth by the end. Playing the entire game through Co-op can help tone down those issues, and if played on the Vita I'd say you could reasonably add a tick to the score as that's obviously the platform this kind of game is designed appropriately for.

While the game doesn't really deserve such high praise, given that the story is fanfiction levels of bad and that the online functionality is very questionably bad, I absolutely love it to absolute death. A fighting game/ brawler with RPG elements and character creation in an anime setting that I grew up with? Hell yes, thank you please. The game is very good fun and I absolutely adored every second of the sixty five hours I put into this game before finally burning out on it, only to be hyped up for the sequel that I can't wait to get my hands on.

It's been a while since I last stepped into an Assassin's Creed game, the last one being Black Flag, though I barely touched it sadly. I'm not a big fan of the series, I do mostly enjoy Brotherhood and have very found memories of a much younger me playing it and the original back when they first released. Now where am I now with this game? It's pretty good. Not great, but with a solid visual and sound design for any average release these days. It's fun, and that's all you really can say about it. It's a pretty alright open world game, with fun things to do and an actual pretty decent story. I had fun with this game, and I guess that's all there really is to say about it.

Not as terrible as I kept expecting it to be. I must say I love the fact the mobile app literally blows itself over. It allowed me to be aware that the story literally only took me 6 F****** Hours to finish. But ignoring that, the games story is shallow, and generally just bad. Nothing is explained at all. I don't care about the stupid wiki-like crap I can look up. It's not in the game, that's bad game design. Period. The 'Open World' parts of this game are lies, and are more like tiny areas of small crappy missions to do. The Crucible is fun, but with literally two types of game modes (Also add into the fact that if you don't have Taken King, you aren't going to be playing the cooler stuff) And Strikes don't hold your attention for very long. The content given at base value, the original 60 dollars is pathetic. So why is it a six? Because....I, did have fun with it. And that's something I can't deny about the game. I had a lot of fun with it for a lot of reasons. So, Destiny gets by with me with barely passing marks. A slightly above average FPS with MMO elements.

The Phantom Pain is the finale send off for my favorite games director of all time. And what did we get out of his finale big bang? We got, in technicality, the most expansive and deep game I've seen in the past few years. The story is enjoyable, the gameplay is so amazingly fun that I haven't wanted to put it down for any other game in the past few weeks. With all of this in mind, you might be wondering why it isn't a ten. Simple. Konami literally tore the third act of the game out of the game. And due to this, the game feels unfinished. And it is. So while this is one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing, Konami is Konami, and Konami is the worst. ****

Of course Super Mario Maker is a really great game. The only part that really stinks about this whole thing is it's an idea stolen from fans, and in the process of its making, harmed those fans and basically told them to screw themselves. But, despite the history of the games development, I must admit that this is so much fun to mess around with.

I don't care that your game is beautiful, I don't care that sound design is pretty good, I care that you have zero interaction, the story you've given me is not the most interesting thing you could be showing me in this universe, it is simply a walking simulator, and you gave me nothing to care about. I would have to say, ZombiU was one of the few reasons I had ever even given the WiiU a slight looking, but now that it's out for other consoles, I've finally had my go at it... and, it's a pretty fair game. Now what most people I could imagine are so twisted up about and butthurt over is the fact this is a slow passed, survival horror game with action elements, and the simple fact that it's 'Not scary' makes it not horror. In my eyes, horror doesn't need to be scary, simply suspenseful. And Zombi did that for me. Many moments I spent in this game had me backed into a corner, low on health, and surrounded by the dead. The story is interesting, but nothing special. Visuals are clunky but reasonable for a 20 dollar release. I had a few bugs throughout my playthrough as well, and it really over all felt a bit flat in the end. But, Zombi is a decent game. Pretty good in my eyes, but something you'll need a taste for to enjoy it.

For this being a legacy collection, it's actually rather disgusting. Yes, you get Mega Man 1-6, which honestly, does simply leave out one bad game and one mediocre game. However, there is simply nothing else to it. No artbook, no soundtrack, no behind the scenes garbage some people love. Nothing extra at all. Compare this, to the MGS: Legacy collection which came with MGS 1-4, Peacwalker, MG 1-2, an artbook, a digital comic, and all the extras that originally came with Substance of 2 and 3. Simply a waste. of time, but hey... it is still Mega Man. And yes, there are a 'few' extras, but nothing physical.

I hadn't played one in many years, Godzilla saves the earth being the last I had. I remember enjoying that game pretty fairly. Not that great, not that bad. But this, this game slaps you across the face and then pukes on you. A crappy ps3 port from Japan, the game looks disgustingly outdated and it's online functionality is on par with throwing your router out the damn window and then attempting to stream on Twitch. Stay far away from this disgusting thing. If it weren't for the fact that it functioned and had some of my favorite monsters in it, it would be even lower than a three.

Penumbra: Overture

Penumbra Overture was one of the best things to come out of Pewdiepie. Anyhow, after saying **** like that let me go on with the review. So of course a lot like anyone else who knows about Frictional Games, the first one I came to now about was Amnesia: The Dark Decent. Not from pewdiepie, the obvious place to have heard about it from. I found out a bit later that they had an already other established series titled Penumbra. I bought Penumbra: Overtue a long while before I ever had the bravery to go near Amnesia, and so with it came my first ever REAL adventure into survival horror. The game spooked the ever loving **** out of me, but the good thing about it was, that I was actually eased into the settings of Fritcionals games by it. It was really scary yes, however, I was able to push forward almost always and never got to the point where I simply couldn't move forward from my fear. The game looks really good for what is technically a indie title, and the sound design is PERFECT for the setting, mechanical, yet some how creepy and off putting. The story is also a strong part of Overture, intentionally confusing and not completely filled in, yet enough information if given for there to be a real deep understanding of what you want to know over what is going on, and why the place you are in is in the state that it is. The game does a great job of making you feel isolated. And because of this, you really end up liking the character of Red, the only survivor down in the tunnels with you. Overall, Overture is an under appreciated game that deserves all the under rated credit that it gets. I absolutely loved it, and it only goes up from here.

This was a really good game. Overall it was fun, and looks beautiful. The sound design is a bit, mucky to me however, and there was the occasional drop in framerate, never dipping bellow 40 as far as I could tell. The different weapons and special infected keep the game interesting, though sadly I really wished they could have used larger cities and to throw in some vehicles. The second city is great, but so small it doesn't at all fell that fun to explore. The first had no really memorable places, except for the bridge. The story is rather mediocre and doesn't really seem to know where it wants to go until you begin to head out for the second city, and it only ever has slight flashes of interesting characters at certain points. And lets call the villain what he is. Okay. His dialogue is pretty awful, though he seems to be an over all interesting person. So this game is what it set out to be. A fun, open world, zombie sandbox game. Can't wait to compare it to Dead Island 2, which in my opinion, well have to do a lot to differentiate itself from Dying Light, a fun game with a lot of meaty substance. I didn't even mention the Co-Op functionality as well as the great fun of the VS. play as the infected mode.

I hate this game so much. It's hard, stressful, intense, and overall way over my head in terms of the skill required to be good at it. And it's so good because of all of those things. Not only does the game sport my favorite sound design of any game so far this year, it looks rather good and plays solidly. The story is deep, yet confusing and not spoon feed to you like a lot of movies/games do now. If there was one ray of light in the darkness that is the next gen library it would be, ironically, blood borne. One of the darkest and most fear filled games I've played in a long time. Jim Sterling said it best when he said this is where survival horror lives on, joke or other wise, it was a fairly believable statement. Pick it up if you own a ps4. It's not a system seller, as I believe no single game could ever sale a system to me, but it's totally worth picking up at full price.

This is by far my favorite resident evil game ever made. *Drops the mic* Alright now let me get serious and explain why. For one this is the gameplay style of a classic resident evil game, with puzzles and a variety of characters with differing abilities to playthrough with. With characters having relatins and that effecting how much they'll stick with you and how helpful they'll be. I'll be honest, the game is short but takes a few playthroughs of each of the later scenarios to get them right. I love the characters, the classic gameplay with free movement. All the missions are great fun and interesting, the music is wonderful. This is my favorite Resident Evil game, yet I am willing to realize that Resident Evil 4, 2, Revelations, and Remake are all better games, I just have a special place in my heart for this one.

For starters the shooting is completely stupid. It feels like your aim is sliding on ice, and it feels pointlessly hard to line up your shots. The story? wtf? You know what I really compare this to. National Treasure. The story has about as much build up. Woo~ Treasure hunting. Woo~ Random Terrorist that has nothing to do with my character personally and I see maybe a total of three times before I fight him. Other than Drake himself, I hate most all of the characters in this game. None of them are interesting or none stereotypical. And completely screw the enemies. You see a total of ONE type of enemy through the whole game. They don't even change in looks, like, at all. They **** ****. Taking several assault rifles clips straight to the face and STILL not **** game looks alright, if it was a lunch title than its forgivable.
