Triggered much.... pathetic to see the review bombing for a game of such high quality. First all of the xbox fanboys just man up and shut **** buy a ps4. This is far from the only title your missing out on. Second, those upset over Ellie being a lesbian its clear you are lonely and miserable exhibiting rage over a fictional characters sexual **** sad, pathetic really. Keep in mind it is you who are the snowflakes. I'd like to thank Naughty Dog for a game which they clearly put their all into it. I'm only 9 hours in but felt compelled to put a review in due to the nonsense here on metacritic which is a display of ignorance. The graphics, story, dialogue, music and gameplay are exceptional and improve on what was excellence in the first game. The characters communicate throughout giving a better sense of who they are and where they've come from. Anybody who played the first and enjoyed it surely will love this **** course that's said if your manhood isn't affected by the lesbian presence which is not at all shoved down the players throat as I've read in some of these small people's reviews. A narrow mind is laughable and also explains why many on here are lonely and probably miserable. I'm stunned in 2020 that you all made this "political", but I'm not surprised. Anyway... this game is phenomenal and to buy into a snowflake narrative would be your loss if these opinions do in fact dissuade you from purchasing this game. Character development is top **** humanity is on display moreso than part 1. The story can be ugly, but aren't we. It is what people are and if you can't handle the brutality and emotion its not a title for you. The environments are steps above the original and the music sets the tone. Reactions in characters us the best gaming has to **** is the dialogue which is to say well written. Only 9 hours in and yeah, this is your game of the year. Thanks again Naughty Dog fir attention to detail in the form of broken glass crunching under Ellie's feet and setting the atmosphere with the proper gloom. I'm 100% satisfied. And Metacritic please get this problem fixed...these user scores are a joke.

Besides the horrible lag while on splitscreen with my son the game has twice just shutdown my ps4.. never had that issue with another game... this game is unfinished and was released prematurely... Im more disappointed than angry as I purchased the 100 dollar version for my son on his 15th birthday... we enjoyed the remastered Borderlands 1 and you would think 2k would have released a finshed product... the game, when playing correctly, is fine.. it is what youd expect, but any menu access just cripples the other players ability to play the game leadinghto death ...

Incredible....a big thanks to Santa Monica Studio for delivering this masterpiece to the Playstation community. Story-great...Characters-great...Graphics-great...Sound-great.....a must buy for any fan of gaming. As far as the scores of 0 for this game, nice try. Your Xbox **** the good news is that mine does to. it is an expensive paper weight and dust collector. Because of those reasons i certainly dont hate on the Playstation exclusives... I instead embrace and enjoy the higher quality provided by Sony.... I suggest you do the same and stop writing bogus reviews because you own a crappy system.... how is Bloodborne, or Last of Us, or Uncharted, or Horizon Zero Dawn on your **** yes, as good as God of **** OF WAR IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS AND YOUR REVIEWS TYPED FROM ENVY WONT CHANGE THAT.

Campaign....beautiful graphics, great sound, not very good dialogue and story and a horrible ending.... Zombies..... great map, but of course only one... decent customization although the unlockables weren't exactly mind blowing Multiplayer...typical Call of Duty, extreme downgrade in presentation next to campaign and the new lobby is a poor, poor attempt to be a community playground The campaign is quick and forgettable, the zombies are a dangling carrot to spend more for more and the multiplayer , as usual, was plagued with issues..... already traded this title at the local Vintage **** would not recommend.....high hopes for a return to ww2 were only that, high hopes...

Great shooter, decent story and characters. A fan of other titles in the series will be happy. This game has a very Quentin Tarantino feel in presentation. Probably the most entertaining title I've played this year. Killing **** is always glorious. The triggered alt right Trumpletons response is fantastic. If they purchased this title expecting anything but what it is, oh well. I would suggest retreating to moms basement and carrying on a conversation with your Trump cardboard standee. For starters ask yourself why you refer to others as snowflakes, when you all cry about everything... Its a video game, and not even a very serious one... its typical Wolfenstein. Graphics and sound are just fine, not the greatest, but perfectly fine. I laughed several times which i will not spoil and would recommend this game to any fan of shooters. Enjoy killing **** and remember that Trump isn't in the game, although his base appears eager to trash the title. Odd, to relate to ****.....

This game delivers on all fronts. Graphics and sound are great. I have roughly 7 hours in and am quite satisfied with the story and character development to this point. The leveling up system and point distribution is just right, not overbearing and not lacking. The combat mechanics are solid and tactics are easily used. For the so called users giving this title poor scores... please go back to your xbox1 or pc. The same idiots trashed Bloodborne, Last of Us, ****. Your act is thin and grown old and pathetic. To the complaints about lack of anything new to **** over it. How many shooters can you play and honestly claim are groundbreaking. How about racing games... how much creativity and inventiveness do you find there... if your bored with the state of video games find a new hobby. Otherwise save us the time of seeing your bull s..t review when we **** you know, your sitting at home wondering why your xbox1 lacks the exclusive titles the ps4 has. I myself own both **** ok, I owe no allegiance to either, but facts are **** ps4 reigns supreme and once again released an exclusive title to upset you **** ha ha ha **** play halo or recore, or quantum theory. Horizon is a great title and I will thoroughly enjoy playing it as more dust settles on my xbox1.

Silly XBOX1 owners trying to bring the score down. I'm laughing at you and thankful for your stupidity. FACT...Phil Spencer, who happens to be the top executive at XBOX, reached out to SONY and congratulated them as well as Naughty Dog on releasing a **** words. He also said Uncharted 4 is one of the greatest games in gaming history. In other words you trolls....please **** it up and eat it. Don't be a hater ....go buy a ps4 and get over it. Don't hate on a high quality game because you made the mistake of picking an XBOX1. Think about **** can get Uncharted 4, plus Bloodborne, plus Last of Us Remastered. Its a no-brainer, put down Halo and whatever other not so good exclusive titles you have and make the right choice. Oh I forgot to give my review of Uncharted **** absolutely amazing. A true masterpiece and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Sure makes me glad I made the right decision when picking a console.

Why so much hype? This game is ok, nothing more, nothing less. The graphics are pretty decent, not the best. A lot of models are poorly done and for a game of this magnitude it is inexcusable. The movement can be problematic when running or just walking, yet for some reason when crawling you are like a tank and crawl relatively problem free. The combat is above average but nothing new. A lot of people claim the enemy A. I. is something **** so much. Enemies will wonder around into the open and run directly into sniper fire. Also a lot of people like all of the micromanaging at your **** me. An abundance of content does not make for greatness or make up for typical gameplay. I am not overly impressed at all. I guess I expected more and was let down. I feel each mission is replaying the prior mission. Repeat, repeat, repeat.....................I cant decide if I will continue or trade this game while it has value. As for so called professional critics...I never have bought their nonsense, because clearly if a company pays you a lot of money to hype their product and advertise....well you wouldn't be to objective either.

This game is a blast to play on the couch with the kids. It has the feel of old school gaming and has plenty of options of how to play. Each character has a unique arsenal at his or her disposal and the battlefields are each unique in their own way. You can go it solo, or vs each other. The level up system for your units in play keeps it interesting and tense as wave after wave of enemy move to take your toybox. It is silly and a good time. The addition of the GI JOE and COBRA, HE MAN, ASSASSINS CREED is welcome. This is a family fun kind of **** you expect more go elsewhere. Well done.

I purchased this game for the simple fact that my wife loves the horror movie genre. She isn't much ****, but I thought this may be to her liking. I am shocked at how much I am enjoying this game. My rating probably started closer to a 6 to 7, but as I played more and got into the game I raised my score. This game may not be for everyone as it is full of quick time decisions. In saying that, I must throw out there that I hated Heavy Rain, and never finished Beyond Two Souls. Both titles are similar how they are played. Until Dawn is the exception, it does what the previous two titles failed to, at least for me. The story is well laid out and the characters are each different. The butterfly effect adds a nice dimension and your choices either lead to death or a chance to face death again. This creates reason to revisit and changeup your decisions in a different playthrough. I don't think I can think of another game that nailed the atmosphere better. The sound, and environment are perfect. The graphics are phenomenal. I am not yet finished but think Im close to the end and look forward already to playing again and changing my choices as to see a new outcome. Anyone who bought this title thinking hack and slash and all out action is either stupid or just in denial of what to expect. This game is different and the only title that I would ever call scary. If you want a great story and edge of your seat entertainment that you lay out as you engage this game should be on your radar.

Congratulations to Rocksteady for a very polished title. Any fool who gives this game a low review is either mentally unstable or your typical Call Of Duty or GTA moron. Please for the rest of us, go back to your overrated choices of gaming. I have maybe 10 to 12 hours in the game at this point. The time put into building Gotham by the Rocksteady team must have been staggering. I am a fan of the entire series and am simply amazed at the detail found in this rendition of Gotham. The lighting and shading is nothing short of quality art, once again thanks to the team responsible. The combat is as usual fluid and better than previous titles. If you felt Batman was a bada55 before this title, you will think he is a pi55ed off bada55 in this addition to the series. The story is just fine, all the trolls who call it predictable should be laughed at. It has a lot of predictability about it, but really most games do, move on with your negativity. The presentation of the story is where it counts. If you are a fan of this genre and Batman, you will be pleased. The game is deep in storyline and I probably have not scratched the surface. Like previous titles there is a plethora of choices of what to do, where to go, who to inflict Batmans will upon. The addition of the batmobile is no deterrent to the greatness of this game. Remember this is not Gran Turismo or Forza, it is an open world action game. Anyone who tells you the driving in any comparable games is great is lying. No GTA, or Saints Row, Godfather, Watch Dogs, etc, has perfect driving and maneuverability. Arkham Knight is no different, and the inclusion of the batmobile is welcome. Realistically Rocksteady didn't need to and the game would have sold the same number of copies. That said it is a bonus and provides a nice touch. This game has the graphics, the gameplay, the story and adds up to a compelling and very fun title. Idiots will be idiots, in 2015 we are surrounded by them. We all know them, always negative, always tearing others down to attempt to justify their ignorance. Join me and laugh at them, my life is good and I look to enjoy finishing this great game. Sorry to the children who have nothing better to do and are angry at mom and dad, your reviews are laughable. Thanks again Rocksteady for putting forth great effort to give us a very capable game.

The greatest game ever made......period. No other game before it has told a better, more human story than The Last of Us. The characters are strong, from the leads in Joel and Ellie, to each and every other character they are all given a defined life of their own. They all represent a side of humanity and the game does a fantastic job of creating each one as an individual, a unique individual. In hearing Hollywood is producing a movie, I cringed. They could not do justice to this story. At least not in a 1 to 3 hour movie. Perhaps a miniseries, 10 part, 10 hours. Anyway back to the game. The mechanics work just fine, the gameplay is great, the shooting, running, melee, all are top notch. The story grabs you from the start and does not let you go. I am a huge fan of Mass Effect and the development of each character within its story. The Last of Us creates a bond between player and characters like no other game. The entire game focuses on struggle, loss and the human desire to fight on and find any hope you can to drive you. I thought this would be another zombie game...I could not have been more wrong. Sure zombies infest the world, but the real terror is the people. Last of Us captures humanity in all its ugliness, and does it beautifully. I am 42 years old and have played games forever. I remember Zelda, wow, I remember a lot of great titles. Last of Us is truly in the argument for greatest game ever....period.

Hands down one of the best games I have had the pleasure of playing. Im 42 years old and have played more than my share of games. If I was asked my favorite titles the list would include Bioshock, Last of Us, Gears of War 3, Skyrim, Ninja Gaiden and most recently Bloodborne. This game is a masterpiece. I waited until several weeks into it to write this review. The options for your character as you progress are wide open. You develop your character how you like. The gameplay is fluid and the environments are beautiful in a very dark and eerie way. Whether you are in the city or in the woods the layout is superb. The music score is perfect to set the tone for a challenging and rewarding adventure. This game is very difficult but death comes to the impatient and foolish. Once you learn to play and manipulate the strategies within the game success follows and the rewards are plentiful and keep you coming back for more. Sure this game isn't for everyone. Some enjoy the feeling of ultimate warrior and dominating a game start to finish. This isn't for you, if you have no patience, and cannot accept a challenge that actually tests you go back to Call od Duty or Halo or whatever simple game you've been enjoying. Bloodborne is just what the doctor ordered for this generation because honestly the best games this generation are two retreads that being The Last of Us and Tomb Raider. Thank you From Software for justifying my leap to the next generation, while there have been some decent games released this is the first great game of this generation.

If you have been a fan of Mortal Kombat, or fighting games you will find this game enjoyable. I don't feel it is as deep as many are claiming though. There is limited maps, though the existing maps are quite good. I see no reason in 2015 why more fighters were not included out of the box. My son and I have played for hours, both against each other and in the story. The game like I said is enjoyable. The dialogue is horrible, not funny, not intelligent, not serious at all. If that's ok for you, so be it. As far as Im concerned the voice volume can be turned completely down. The graphics are pretty decent, but not up to par with next generation quality. I enjoy Mortal Kombat and am partial to games I can play locally with my kids so I give this game a decent score. It plays great and is fun. I do believe content could have been and should have been deeper, especially for a game with such history and an extensive back catalog. I may purchase the additional content, but Im not sure as like most gamers I am tired of being nickled and dimed to death by these greedy game developers and systems. Once again, a fine game for fans of the fighting genre but lacking in content that should be there.

This game, like Left For Dead, was overhyped. At least unlike Left For Dead it is not being overrated. I advise you rent it in coordination with a group of friends on a weekend. Play, return the rental and you will never revisit this game again. Wash, rinse, **** instead evolve and drop, flush,forget.
