One of the most outstanding and unique games, distinguished by its truly unparalleled gameplay. There are many games in this setting, but not in gameplay. It gives an unprecedented experience and, despite the fact that it is almost the only representative of its genre of gameplay, the game is still updated and adds new modes, conditions, and challenges, largely thanks to the big community that it itself created. The game is very simple in its meaning, but is incredibly diverse in the implementation of the ultimate goal. Minimalist design: everything is well located, nothing distracts, and is in its place. I find it quite difficult to make a person want to play a game with a very simple endpoint over and over again, but when you come across such things, you understand that this one is simply a treasure and an incomparable experience. During newer runs, you see and feel how much work has been done in a variety of directions. Very deep and intelligent work. So many aspects and their interactions with each other. It seems that everything was thought of. The developers took into account the characteristics of individual countries, such as the environment, physical and moral ties with the rest of the world, the average level of well-being, the level of awareness, the location, religion, the level of medicine, etc. No less work was done by the developers towards the main goal of the game. Many different viruses, mutations, random situations, the development of the infections themselves, their transmission, transportation, adaptation to the climate and different countries, adaptation and attitudes of people in different countries, depending on the level of awareness, medicine, censorship, wealth, etc. Despite the setting, there was also very clear, timely, and apt humor. It is presented here in the form of announcements and news, which also dilutes the gameplay and sometimes causes a smile full of irony. So what do we have? Unparalleled gameplay, unique in its genre. A huge bunch of unique replays. Attention to the smallest details. Many different, beautiful official and unofficial scenarios. The ability to participate and create your own. What is all this, if not a must-play? And more than two hundred different achievements and several difficulty levels will not let you get bored for dozens or hundreds of hours.
The graphics are great, and the world is vast. A huge number of customized weapons, clothes, skills, etc. There are a lot of side missions, many of which are, of course, fillers, like go there, bring that, then come back, but if you dilute everything correctly, it doesn't always even get boring. The music is great. In general, all the interactions with the world and the environment are very coolly worked out. Perhaps the weakest link is the banal plot, but even that doesn't make the run bad. Everything works so harmoniously with the game world that you just play and don't get bored. When you want to go into more detail about how everything works, it's hard to find words because there are an enormous number of introductory and variable things. Even the towers aren't very annoying because they aren't stuck on every side just to fill the world, and they aren't mandatory because there is always a fast travel point in every important region you visit. I know people who don't like the new level system because it's very hard to fight against opponents who are much stronger, but if you look at the map and go through the regions from weaker to stronger, this "problem" disappears by itself. Therefore, I don't consider it a minus, but rather an attempt by the authors to lay out a route along which the passage is supposed to be taken. Unfortunately, no game is complete without bugs, so they are also present here, such as the MC freezing in one action without the ability to exit this state, switching the walking/running speed, some characters in locations may not appear, etc., which is fixed only by restarting the game. But there are also changes that I liked, such as the fact that now there is no wanted rating, and you don't have to constantly run around to tear something down, bribe people like before. It really pissed me off, so this change is convenient. Therefore, it's totally not a bad game, and definitely worth playing.
Following an old proverb, the devs made the sequel bigger from every angle, except maybe gameplay. However, since the latter one was unique and it was not easy to get used to it, it's not a bad sign at all. The job has been done incredibly here again. The script is standalone and good. It doesn't follow the first part from its end. Nevertheless, you'll face a lot of references from the first part. You'll return to familiar places with a different environment and in different situations. You'll be able to see and deal with the consequences of the first game, which is always a good touch. Actually, there are quite a few things taken from the first part. However, they feel wholesome, and you'll be happy to see, face, or deal with them rather than annoyed. A terrific number of dialogs, quests, enemies, skills with their effects on the enemies and environment, abilities to modify characters, weapons, clothes, etc. Many new, various, and totally unlike characters with their past, opinions, and relationships with the MC. You can again affect almost everything with your choices and deeds. Hence, the walkthrough could be changed drastically throughout the run, and each of them will be unique. Without a doubt, an incredibly decent sequel to the acclaimed first part. A chef's kiss and must-play for any fan, especially those who played and liked the first game.
A good beginning of an established and genre-defining series, critically acclaimed as one of the greatest of its time. Despite all the main villains in this part being perfectly known to the audience, the story itself and how the MC interacts with them are surprisingly well-written. They aren't cheap; they have their own motivation, and sometimes even growth. They stay in a comics comprehension and logic, though. The game mechanics are quite vast. There are plenty of moves, tools, combos, and their different variations and upgrades. It makes a constant fight with enemies entertaining and not boring. The game is a must to play. If the further parts have at least the same quality, the whole series is a masterpiece.
The game is very authentic. The devs did incredible work there without a doubt. The environment, clothing, cars, weapons, behavior, radio, language, etc., everything around you is soaked with that time's style and vogue.
The game is significantly better than the first part in every way. There are still quite a few trips, but they are not as annoying as in the first part. The plot is cool, but unfortunately, it's short. There are not many side activities, but they are there, though. The game is quite buggy and often crashes just like that, which is very sad and sometimes incredibly irritating. Some game mechanics, like driving cars, are a little tough, but it could be the initial intentions due to the game setting. It's a little strange that the game doesn't remember what weapon you had when you got into the car, and each time you go out of a vehicle, you have to choose it again. Also, it's not very convenient to choose the weapon itself. Additionally, GPS lags occasionally, and you can't shoot from a car at all what would be very convenient throughout the game.
The DLCs. It's not at all clear why they were made. The first one consists of three types of completely identical missions: in one, you have to steal a car, in the second, you have to destroy something, and in the third, you have to kill someone. That's all. No cutscenes, no plot explanation, no character development, or anything else.
The second DLC is about one of the essential characters from the main game. And while you can think that it's kinda cool idea to see a part of the story from their perspective, it remains only a cool idea alone because the missions are also similar, many of them are unbelievably idiotic in how they were created and should be completed. At least you see and work with familiar characters and several cutscenes.
Nevertheless, the game is worth playing for its plot and incredible authenticity.
A pretty interesting game with its unique gameplay. However, there are always several annoying things, of course.
Considering its gameplay, it is a little strange that after 10 years, there is still no feature to clean one's video request field. But there is a rather confusing button that forces the whole game progress to start over. Like many others, I learned it the hard way, unfortunately. Also, despite it being quite clear what has happened in this detective case, especially when you uncover ~50% of the videos, it would have been perfect if the game had its conclusion rather than leaving you with half-doubtful thoughts. But in all other respects, it is a cool experience. Worth trying.
The game is an old classic. Even though it is a remaster, the game itself does not look or feel at least closely related to modern or decade-old games. It is a plot-driven game, and it's not worth looking at graphics biasly. I think the devs did whatever they could with it for a remaster. The most considerable things here are, as it was mentioned above, the plot and the gameplay. The first third of the game is very intriguing. The other parts, especially when things turn out to be mystic and fantastic, the interest vanishes a little. Nevertheless, there are always ones who love such things. Hence, it is completely personal. The gameplay is quite unique, if one can say it, at least it is not an ordinary one. You play for different characters in different situations, or the latter one can be the same, but you will see it from different perspectives of various characters, where everyone has their own POV. What is also good is that the game isn't linear. There are almost no hints, and you can always miss some content or skip important intel due to negligence or excessive deliberation, and the game will not help you to prevent this. Should you miss anything, it's your problem - try to get out of the situation with the info, skills, etc. you have managed to gather or gained. If you run out of time or miss something, there will be consequences. The same is with QuickTime events. There are a lot of them, and many of them go one after the other without letting you to ease. It's worth mentioning that many people face issues with them. So, it's imperative to get the settings right beforehand and check tutorials or videos on YouTube. So, the main motto - play only as nostalgia. If you played and liked it back in the day, feel free to try this remaster. If you have never played this game and are not a fan of old, so-called square graphics, there's no need to try it in this case.
A very cool game to get into algorithms. Not only can it prompt you to think harder about resolving issues, but it also incorporates a touch of humor, such as work-level transitions and the natural process of aging throughout the game progress. The renders are simple, the music isn't disturbing, so you can put all your attention on solving the task. On more difficult levels, you can also literally see how Big O notation works, depending on the number of items and the amount of time required to solve the puzzle.
The game is unbelievably beautiful in every aspect. It catches you right from the beginning with its art style. Then you meet a pretty cool gameplay. I thought no game would be able to stand next to the HOMM III series in the turn-based strategy genre, and it was an incredibly pleasant surprise to discover such a gem. The game has cool mechanics in fight episodes with good animations, effects, etc. There are really many different very deep characters. They are so well-written that every choice you need to make in one or another situation sends shivers down your back, and you worry about a crucial decision you have to make. Speaking of the latter. There are also many situations throughout your journey where you face different occasions with various characters and whether you want it or not, you are obliged to make tough decisions or even verdicts. This thing is a part of the complex gameplay and a reminder that a leader always faces these kinds of conditions. On top of all these lovely mechanics, the game is covered with a deep story. Right away you find yourself in a world that has lived long before you. There are different races, conflicts, and wars that have happened you need to take into account. Additionally, every frame of the game is an amazing art and narration. Considering that it is the first part of the game with such an intriguing plot, it's not possible to be unimpressed and not be eager to try the next part and discover the story completely.
A decent prequel without questions. Only, I'd have named it a DLC, not a prequel because of its duration. The game is still cool, though. It has good graphics, physics, and overall gameplay. However, the plot is not as pensive as in the previous one. Also, it has fewer characters and they aren't that developed compared to the "New Order". In any case, as was said, the game is cool and worth playing.
The game has been significantly improved since the previous one. There was one thing that almost drove me mad in the last game - endless running between different locations that took most part of the game. This has it much less and almost everywhere it can be skipped or made faster. As always, many different puzzles, and many of them are not simple. Nevertheless, even if the quiz is not easy, it's at least fun. The whole game series itself is full of ubiquitous fun and joy. It's everywhere. Every location, every character, dialog, and other aspects of the game are full of fun. Hence, even if the gameplay is not always welcome or easy, you can always rely on having fun during the walkthrough.
The game is extremely fun. It's full of dark humor, sarcasm, and absurdity that complete the game environment. This is a good example **** where one doesn't care about graphics or physics because they are redundant here. There aren't many game mechanics but the present ones are great. The fight is a turn-based strategy with many unique skills for different characters. The plot is simple but very fun. "Omnipresent fun" is how the game can be described in two words because it's literally crowded with a lot of fun in every detail. It's clear that the devs and everyone related to the game knew what they were doing and the result is worth it.
Yes, the game is old and it is very much felt in all aspects of the game. Maybe it's generally stupid to evaluate graphics, physics, AI, etc. based on how old the game is. But there are many games that came out at the same time and these things were much better in them. Mafia feels old even for its time. However, there is one thing that is loved and will be loved regardless of the year, the graphics, and everything else: the plot. It is gorgeous and atmospheric here. The characters are well and in detail written and one always looks forward to proceeding to follow the plot. Unfortunately, apart from a good plot, nothing else is good here. This game can be enjoyed nostalgically like any other one associated with warm memories of those times. In fact, there are a lot of crazy and stupid missions that can literally take hours and are impossible to skip. The simplest AI, graphics, physics, and everything else. Also, considering that the game has a remaster and that the plot is exactly the same there, there is no point in playing the original game if you have never played this series at all.
The game strongly reminds FarCry 5 which is not bad. The game was made by the same team and doesn't seem strange in this case. Graphics is extremely beautiful and customizable. A decent, big map, world, and environment. Almost everything is customizable except, maybe, vehicles. It took the most perfect parts from "Future Soldier" and added several totally new features. If in the previous game, you could modify weapons and just follow the story completing the campaign missions one by one, this game takes everything to a new level. First of all, it's now a sandbox with an open world. The whole plot is huge which grants many campaign missions in different locations as well as side missions with their own characters and goals. It wouldn't be without many filler missions as well of course. You can ride, fly, or fast-travel across the entire map with the AI team or in co-op planning every detail you'll do in each combat. The game is complex in its implementation with good graphics and physics, an enormous range of different weapons, with customizable things like appearance, apparel, weapons, team, etc., with evolving your character and following a decent plot. Some missions are extremely hard, some are very easy, and some may get you bored (not so much). However, the game is, without hesitation, a must-play.
The first thing you are excited to experience is a completely unique idea. A strategy city-builder where the main point is to survive the frozen apocalypse. The lore of the game, and its concept is exceptional. Interesting mechanics, unlike other classic strategies. It's worth saying that the game is pretty difficult but very interesting. It seems that they have thought through almost everything that was possible. How different resources affect different areas and directions, how they are used, etc. Understanding the small location, all buildings are carefully selected, and their logic and purpose are clear. Here you will need to skillfully dispose of various resources, and events, and search for new ways to survive while solving many very difficult dilemmas related to both your city and other settlements or survivors. The game also has several DLCs. They are cool, and add a lot of fun. They change the core gameplay altogether and it's a good contrast with the main game. **** would be good to add the ability to skip the endings and opening tips of each campaign. When you go through it dozens of times, it gets very annoying :)
The game is pretty much the same compared to the first one. The graphics is totally the same. Game mechanics as well. There are more levels and a different story. Visialy different enemies, however, have almost the same skills and weapons. The big difference is the music. It was amazing in the first game, and it's not less but maybe even more fascinating in this one. Maybe, I'd rather recommend purchasing the game soundtrack since many songs are unavailable on major streaming services than the game itself.
In two words - it's an incredibly entertaining game. Fun story, good gameplay, clever, sly, sarcastic characters, and dialogs. The missions are not long and are always diluted with enjoyable action. Everything is beautiful and interesting. The game does not leave any bad or negative emotion behind, it is a complete joy and fun even when playing alone. You always want more games like this.

The game is not bad. Though, it's not perfect or something, it's neither a bad AC game for sure. The graphics are amazing, day and night change, weather, etc. There are two MCs for the first time. They have totally different personalities, characters, and tempers, and they develop differently as well throughout the game. The game missions are divided between them too. Some missions involve both of them in some parts. Yet, there are really many side and filler missions with uniform tasks but in different locations. The tailing missions are still terrible, regretfully. The control is easier for me considering previous games. It's not overloaded with numerous main weapons and it is good. Nevertheless, there are many weapons themselves and their customization. Many of them are gained using in-game purchases which one can find disappointing. However, the game can be enjoyed and passed without any additional purchases. Generally, there are a lot of improvements, such as improvements to characters, weapons, clothes, armor, gangs, city development, and much more. Everything is well woven into the game. I also liked that you don't need to start as a beginner with no skills. The MC already knows everything (or almost everything). The combat is more interesting, with various combinations and strikes. In general, the design of the city is incredible. Various locations and level designs are beyond praise. Relatively few towers which was a good surprise knowing the love of the devs to put them in every mile. Shelter train is an interesting idea. But there are missions where this is an incredibly bad decision. For some reason, downloads during fast travel are very long, despite the fact that it has been heating for 10 years and it's run on a strong-charged PC.
Many think that the Crysis series is about graphics. Frankly, they are not wrong since the series are renowned games with their next-gen graphics, and this one is also good with it. The plot is neither there nor here. It's better than in the first part, but it's still clear that it just needs to be there at least somehow. There aren't many weapons, but they are varied and customizable. The costume can also be customized now. The suit's abilities are well integrated into the gameplay. There are some places one can get confused about where exactly you need to move because everything is bright and colorful, and there are many different objects in the locations. It would also be good if the target is shown above or below the MC it's on the map. As I said above, there are many objects in the locations and almost all of them can be interacted with and used against enemies to distract them or cause damage. Opponents' AI is poor, to say the least. It is necessary to set a high level of complexity so that it changes. Overall, this is a normal shooter, especially if you don't expect anything extraordinary from the game.
First of all, it's needed to understand that this is a story-oriented game and you should not expect some super mechanics or something extremely new here. The game fascinates precisely with its story and the way it is presented. Looking separately at the physics, graphics, opponents, AI, and everything else, nothing particularly stands out, but it is also not done negligently. The graphics, even on maxes, will not show anything even at the time of the game's release. The mechanics of shooting and eliminating enemies is very simple, and the weapons as well. But the main thing is to understand that the emphasis has not been made on those things and it wasn't necessary. This is primarily an adventure with a non-trivial and interesting plot with elements of shooting and not a complete shooter in itself. In terms of gameplay, the game is very plain without any attempts to jump above the head and it fits perfectly here because the controls are elementary and nothing distracts you from fully immersing yourself in the game and its stunning plot. It is the good ratio of all the main mechanics of the game seasoned with an incredible plot that makes this game exciting.
A wonderful game. This is a good new point of view for the founder of the genre. Especially now, on the 10th anniversary of the release, the game can beat many modern ones in many aspects. It has very great graphics, optimization for modern monitors and systems, unique game mechanics, weapons, enemies, and so on. The immersiveness of the game is incredible. it gets you to dive into the lore by all the environment, characters, their personalities, development, etc. You can feel that the game world lived without you and has its history, and that helps to dipper understand everything.
The first game that made the enemies loathed so that you literally wanted to kill and destroy them. Also, considering how objects can be destroyed, you could feel sincere satisfaction during the walkthrough. Despite the fact that reasonable questions may arise as to how MC got to one or another location between missions, the plot itself is very cool. Lots of stealth. However, enemies on easier levels may not notice the MC almost up close or they behave a little stupid, etc. In any case, if you get bored just change the difficulty level and you'll be entertained for sure.
The most incredible journey through grief, sadness, and emptiness toward acceptance of a new reality. There is no unique or "correct" way to show such a complex part of life as dealing with loss and grief invoked after that, and everyone lives it on their own. The same will happen in this game. It has no text except the main menu and hints regarding the game mechanics, so it isn't required to know a particular language to understand everything since the story is presented via colors, hues, and sounds. Therefore, everybody can relate to that. Speaking of the gameplay, it's very simple and understandable. The level design is top-notch as well. However, the main and the best part of the game is the storytelling shown via colors. It's based on the research that our emotions are associated with particular colors and the game takes it literally. The graphics is unbelievably beautiful. Even in parts of the most devastating emotions, the graphics is terrific and always leads you. Every stage of grief is represented in a special way. It's also good to see that emotions and stages aren't shown in just one color or hue but by combining different ones. Various stages of life have many emotions within them like sadness or emptiness has a light and vice versa, or happiness and joy sometimes have anger and wrath, etc. Splendid game, an amazing experience, and a must-play without a doubt.
So, it is a Grand Theft Auto game. The series is a standalone universe needless to be described.
Each game is an incredible effort and amazing people's work. However, even taking into account all of these, there are special ones. This part of the series is a true masterpiece in almost all possible ways it was imaginable to do back then. In general, GTA is a series that makes it difficult to find something negative. From game to game, the company improves every aspect and is very sensitive to every nuance of the game and the gamer experience. Therefore, they do not have many games in the series and the development of each one takes an incredible amount of time. Considering changes between other games, the changes made in this one compared to San Andreas are just out of bounds.
Everything is good, graphics, physics, and plot, worked out in great detail the universe and how everything works.
There is a large selection of things to do, and all sorts of side effects with interesting characters, places, or events.
Battle physics are very different since the game is on a new engine.
A rich arsenal of all kinds of transport. Management of everything except flight ones is also quite good. Even DLCs are cool, especially gay Tony. Missions where you can look from a different perspective on the ones in the main game are cool.
Each DLC has its own features like new weapons or vehicles, bikes, etc.
Also, they added checkpoints to the DLS so you can use them instead of retrying the whole long mission again, and it's very convenient, of course. The only annoying thing for me was the number of missions on a helicopter in the DLC about gay Tony since the chopper control is madness for me. Nevertheless, it's the best GTA game so far and the biggest jump between different parts. In terms of plot, deliverance, and implementation, the project will remain top-notch forever.
The game is pretty immersive. The mechanics are more understandable. The plot starts where the first one ended and develops further in an interesting way. Better graphics, but not AI. Sometimes, it's very funny how blind the AI is, especially on stealth missions. Yet, it's a decent sequel. I'd say that the game saved all the best of it from the first one.
However, it also saved bugs, unfortunately, that the devs have never addressed, and that's pretty bad.
The game crashes very randomly and many fixes on the Internet might not help with it, it's a lottery.
It also has something like a DLC that consists of several missions and if you don't know about them, you might skip them.
It would be much better to add one more button to the menu to get players' attention to that.
Let's straight right to the main point - the game is a visual and narrative masterpiece. Throughout the game, you'll be amazed at the visual realization numerous times. Saying that the graphic is incredible is to say nothing, it should be seen.
It's unbelievably beautiful and scary at the same time.
The attention to detail is simply marvelous. The whole environment is made with extraordinary care. You can see a lot of work. The level design is insane. It seems that absolutely everything has been thought out—especially levels with cards and dolls.
The levels are big and quite challenging. The opponents in each level change. A complex and confusing plot that is presented with everything around that makes you want to perform all secondary tasks to get to the truth.
The game justifies its name 100%. What is happening and what needs to be done in the plot is crazy and at the same time very exciting and memorable. Control is easy without excess. Each weapon has its own characteristics and is even related to the plot.
The levels differ from each other and are diluted with mini-games and puzzles that are also harmoniously woven into the plot. So, as was said at the beginning, it's a masterpiece and must be played. Don't pass by.
Considering that it is quite difficult to make a game in such a setting that is addictive and super interesting, this is a very unexpected and pleasant experience. I think that in VR it should be absolutely wonderful. Gamepad control is simple and easy to get used to because there are no unnecessary mechanics, etc. The graphics are good, physics, and the ruining system as well. The plot is quite normal, again, considering that it is quite difficult to make a very interesting story for many hours in a game where you only need to fly and that's it. Therefore, a small campaign that takes 6-7 hours is just what it is for such a game. Remembering the "campaign" in the last "Battlefront" the one in this game is especially a very pleasant surprise.
The first thing that welcomes you into the game is a new Abstergo subsystem called "Helix". It's not quite understandable right from the beginning what the thing does except you see 12 chapters, you can play the first one but neither open any settings nor even quit the game. It's strange but okay. Sooner you realize that "Helix" is a new payment service system, with its help you can buy armor, ammo, skins, etc. Nevertheless, you aren't forced to do it and can ignore its existence throughout the game, and the game itself is perfectly playable without that. It's the only thing I didn't quite like in the game. Almost all other things are excellent.
The graphics are beautiful, but the characters' hair looks like it's made of plasticine. Climbing is easier, and you can very easily descend from different heights. Many buildings have their interiors and you can cut the way almost everywhere quickly and conveniently. Stealth movement was improved as well. Parkour is sometimes very cool, sometimes terrible. MC can climb some high things, some can't, and it's unclear which ones he won't be able to climb. Downloads are incredibly long (reminds elevators in the first Mass Effect). The game was buggy during its first release, but now everything seems normal. I ran into a bug that required restarting from a checkpoint only once.
There's a perfect score. It was pleasant to finally hear something good since the second game was released. Interesting choices on missions where you need to kill someone significant. Now you can get some help and missions can be played differently depending on the mission. Story missions with portals are just amazing and very immersive, especially the first two ones.
The missions themselves are interesting too. Historically, this is possibly the best game so far (I play in release order).
And at last, it has titles that can be fast-forwarded at the end.
Despite the game plot being more fun than the first one, the gameplay itself makes one want to jump out of the window throughout the walkthrough. The graphic is better of course and the best part of the game is still its humor and comical characters. Controls are much easier, however, since there are many different commands it still can be tough enough to get used to it. And here comes a big BUT. There's so much walking, hanging around, sailing, etc. to do some stupid and absolutely unpredictable thing that it's hard to describe it without falling completely mad. Every time you are one step closer to the goal, something will happen that will hinder you and you will need to run again from one end of one island to the other end of another island just to fix something or get a new item. Most of the quests are completely unclear as to how to proceed. Their passage and/or application of particular items is very often simply illogical and inappropriate. Many games suffer from these nuances. This means that the developers are not able to come up with enough activity and entertainment for a long time and the only way they can make you stay in the game is by driving around locations here and there, if not for this, the game would've been completed in half an hour. This may be almost the only significant minus, but I do not want to play it anymore just because of that. If you are interested in the plot, just watch the walkthrough on YouTube.
Decided to complete this one before the "Madness Returns" as many others. Although I like the whole Alice world, the game leaves mixed feelings. On the one hand, it has many adorable things like music, an entire atmosphere, characters, bestiary, and interesting weapons.
On the other hand, some things can infuriate or drive you mad starting with poor camera and occasions where you can accidentally get stuck on textures that lead to death, and finishing with jump control. The latter one makes me speechless. There isn't a word to describe that thing. Again, there are many good things like the setting, very racy, and beautifully scary characters. The gameplay is simple. The mechanics are easy to understand; even when you pick a new weapon, you instantly realize how it works. However, the game aged sadly. Even if I discard all minor issues, the jump control made me sick. God knows how many times I died because of that stupid thing.
The game is extremely complex on different levels in a good way. The more you play, the more you realize or cannot realize the amount of work performed there. It's just hard to describe how far the BioWare team has dug. Almost everything in the game seems appropriate. The main plot, side missions, all the playable characters, NPCs, and even mini-games like cards and racing. All the mechanics and their work between each other, chars customization, dialogs, and player's choices not only in dialogs but throughout missions and the game itself. Everything affects and is affected by choices and actions. Many missions, especially important ones, have different puzzles, quests, or quizzes, and all of them are properly made and in their correct place.10 main different characters including the MC with their unique background, side missions, and roles in the plot. Anyone familiar with BioWare works like the Mass Effect series for example will see many same or look-a-like things the devs team use in their projects. I'm not sure whether it's worth speaking about graphics in such games knowing the release year, however, it would be perfect if there'd been a good-quality modern remaster. Despite the configuration seeming hard to understand or to get used to at the beginning, it's actually not so odd and you get acquainted with it very fast. Summarizing everything, it's an incredible game. Its plot, characters, battle system, and every other aspect make the experience unforgettable.
The game is very similar to the fourth Black Flag in its mechanics, graphics (almost unchanged), and setting. Speaking of the latter, I mean the pirate setting. It's no longer set in the Caribbean but in the North and several other cities like New York or the district from the third numbered game, Portugal and France missions (there's one in each). Controlling the ship has become easier even with the addition of some new mechanics. Once again, many different activities don't change anything in particular but only extend the full game completion. The plot and characters are more interesting than the previous parts, though. There are almost no "tailing" missions compared to the previous one and this is perfect because in the previous one, it was bored to death from the number of such missions. Again, a lot of swimming is required. However, a good half of this is due to story missions so it's not felt like you need to swim a thousand miles just to open a new fast-travel point. A small digression. I don't quite understand why you're to kill or buy animal skins if you could already purchase an already-made fabric or a ready-made item at that time. In my opinion, such things are just added to oblige players to more grind. Also, unskippable titles in every game drive me mad again and again :) To summarize, the game is ordinarily good. It's not bad and not perfect. There are many aspects to develop and many ones are already taken care of.
First, it's not quite a game, and it takes several minutes to an hour to complete. Nevertheless, it's a unique project. It's a guide describing and showing new technologies, especially HDR. Graphics, water, its behavior, and reflections are incredible. Though, it's not a full game or DLC, you are allowed to play a little since it's a part of the guide where the devs described how some things were achieved when they faced issues. Also, there are all kinds of weapons right from the start and you can use any. The project contains developers' comments that can be disabled at any time or omitted. However, the whole point will be missed in this case. It was an interesting experience and another reminder of the magnificent work and effort Valve teams have done with their engine and the games themselves.
The game barely differs from the main one regarding all its mechanics. All the gameplay is completely the same. There are many many grinds. Despite that, the game is short and can be passed within a few hours. Additionally, there is almost no so-called "fun" and it's necessary to perform too many of the same actions. Frankly, it's not quite understandable why this DLC was created at all.
A very good pirate-setting game. The most effort was put into making sea battles feel comfy with non-complex configuration. Changing weather, sea, and a lot of other things affect the control and progress of the ship. The graphics and physics of the water and the ship are very good.
Many different locations and crafting affect both the MC and his ship. It's a bit annoying that fast travel in cities is only between towers (again towers, for God's sake). That is, they need to be opened in order to be able to use them. Also, despite this, fast travel is not available on missions. The plot has been updated. Finally, they let go of the previous modern protagonist (Desmond), although he is mentioned here, but in a minor way.
Abstergo company policy has been changed in a fun way and it's more similar to how modern companies and countries behave. Funny and a little scary to watch :) The thing that got me triggered the more I played was tailing missions. Literally almost half of the main missions are ones where you have to tail someone. The more you play, the more mad you get at it. In general, the game is good. In any case, this is progress, although there are things that have been infuriating for years and still have not changed.
The game leaves mixed feelings. The main script is pretty good and fun. However, I've never seen so complex configuration in an adventure game. Also, there is too much annoying legwork. Sometimes you literally need to go to the same place one after one, and of course, they are located on the opposite sides of the map. I understand that it's a remake of an old classic point'n'click quest.
Nevertheless, fooling around half of the game here and there can be extremely boring. The best thing in the game is its humor. It's everywhere. In dialogs, quests, puzzles, animations, and it fits the game setting perfectly.
I played the game in childhood and have only good memory. In any case, I'll try to be objective. Old graphics even in the HD version. Frankly, you won't see the difference between the original and this version at all. Here go the good sides.
Good AI, especially considering the release year. Troops and other NPCs can develop on their own and heal themselves. You can literally set everything up so that the city lives on its own when you can focus on a different part of the map without worrying that something goes incorrectly.
A decent number of buildings with their own cons and pros. A big range of enemies and different missions with interesting goals.
I only wish there would be some main plot where you can benefit depending on the missions you take and complete, and their result. Btw, the "expert" difficulty level is just extremely tough for me :) Almost the only annoying thing isn't related to gameplay, nevertheless, the game freezes too much often. Hence, it is very important to save the games frequently. Otherwise, it'll be needed to start from scratch.

A very unique, pretty, and beautiful puzzle platformer.
Despite its simple graphics, it's still gorgeous.
The gameplay is meditative and some puzzles are quite tough which makes the game more interesting and remarkable.

I pretty much liked the game.
Missions are different and long enough. You can really rely on teammates, they are not stupid, they're always ready to connect to attacks and can bring you back to life, and bring each other even without your request.
Enemies have a good AI as well. Even movement between shelters is a thrill.
The graphics are normal, just normal, without any embellishment, etc., but the most important thing is that this is not a minus.
The teamwork is the best thing in the game. Unlike other games where you have some company or teammates and always have to do everything on your own, this game has a very decent team system.
It has only one mission where you need to do everything alone. For all the other ones you are accompanied by teammates.
In general, I liked almost everything and it was a pleasant surprise. A good choice and customization of weapons and various other things that help in the passage and add color. Though, a bit stale but not a bad plot. The main thing still is how you play the game.
First things first, the game uses the Unity engine and you'll be struggling the whole game because of that. Keep this in mind. The only word that comes when you see and experience it is crap. The first two games used their own engine and everything was cool.
Each and every game's glitch and bug owes to the engine's decision. Walking control lags and the MC doesn't understand where to walk and often does absolutely opposite you've asked. The mouse cursor can disappear after some actions and never return back until you load the game from the last checkpoint. The only thing why the game can be recommended is its still good script and puzzles accompanied with a nice soundtrack. Many references to Chornobyl are also fun. There are more different actions than in the first two ones, however, less memorable characters. Additionally, there were a couple of especially annoying bugs and glitches worth mentioning:
1. The roller coaster. Never use a metal shank on the 5 or 25 points (until you have two shanks) or you'll be stuck on that very roller coaster and have to reload the game.
2. Many cutscenes glitch and you can neither read the subtitles nor hear the whole dialog. They're just skipped. A perfect example is the scene in the subway railway carriage. I think it is also worth mentioning that you won't get an achievement if it is triggered right after a glitched cutscene.
Frankly speaking, it's not a bad game with its good and not-so-good parts.
Graphics at the start of the game were horrible and caused headaches. Glad it was pretty good after that so that the game didn't seem so bad at first sight.
The control was slightly changed again. However, it is still easy and the kill streak and combos were good.
The script is short, yet, it's understandable, the game was initially made for PS Vita.
Again, cannot set markers you want/don't want to see on the map.
The "Persona" thing is interesting but appears inconvenient. It is still better to always guise as an assassin when it is possible. In any case, it's a good shot worth trying even this way.
A couple of things annoyed throughout the play: monotonous missions and the impossibility of fast travel anywhere at all. You literally spend half of the time in the game traveling on foot to each mission.
Not bad for the first game. Quite immersive and atmospheric.Regretfully, bad physics and a lot of not thought out. The plot seems interesting but not complete.Weapons are cool, however the system with cartridges is a kind of horror.Though, it's okay for the first game, I hope it is changed in the next games.
A solid sequel to one of the greatest games ever created. Graphics, plot, physics. Everything was upgraded significantly. Even after twenty years, it is played well.
I liked the game much more than the other ones (I play them in release order). The idea of the plot is good and reminds Kevin Smith's "Red State" movie. The music score was perfect (not the irritating peggies' song). I also liked the possibility of taking any number of missions you want simultaneously and passing them any time you want or do not pass at all. Additionally, it is amazing that in a Ubisoft game, you are not forced to take over any towers at all. It is just not obligatory to do that to open fast-travel points. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was a mini-map absence. However, I got used to it fast. In any case, it's the best Far Cry game so far.
