Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Running at about six hours, this game is a lot of fun with a decent story and some great action packed fights. If you haven't played either, I would recommend playing this first, then picking up last years release.

By keeping the elements that made The New Order a great, old-school shooter, The Old Blood offers 5 to 6 hours of mindless and extremely enjoyable FPS gaming.

Competent, compelling gameplay, but with an uneven tone.

The Old Blood is a solid, fun and challenging shooter, with its distinctive mix between old and new school. Unfortunately, the original The New Order set the bar very high, and this expansion clearly can't keep up.

Blazko's new adventure is surely still fun and challenging, yet far from the must-buy experience that The New Order was.

The game’s B-movie vibe is evocative of the work of those skilled filmmakers who embrace the silly or even the self-consciously stupid.

The Old Blood is just OK. It’s a great deal for the price – as a $25 digital download via the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Games Store and Steam, it’s a rarity in an era when 25 bucks might get you a couple map packs’ worth of downloadable content – but I’ve discovered there’s such a thing as too old-school.

A really good prequel to an already amazing first game. The reboot of the series is amazing. This one is short and sweet. Lots of action and not a lot of story. Just enough to make it interesting. Graphics and audio were good as well.

SCORE: Weak 7 / 10 Cant recommend it, i loved Wolfenstein New Order, one of the better games i played, gave it a 8,5/10 score. but this game old blood? very boring i had to force myself to play it, stopped at chapter 4. cant do this anymore, sorry but my time is too valuable, yeah some lore is interesting but some levels are just too hard and not balanced. shooting the same guys over and over again with the same boring weapons, boring story. no thanks, i hope the other wolfenstein game is better. i mean sure if you have nothing else to play then go play it, but if you have anything else than go play that

Well, the game is ok, until chapter 5, then it becomes a one big piece of crap. Why? Well, ONLY until the chapter mentioned above the difficulty is fair (talking about the easiest one) then, the easiest difficulty feels like über. What are they expecting from the player? To be a damn robot? I just want to casually play the game without any frustration. It **** that there are no cheat codes, you can call me a noob I don't care , cheats like God mode would make it actually enjoyable, especially if you don't like to put think about your every single step and just enjoy the plot, gameplay without dying all the time and also the destruction.Screw the achievements, screw the challenge, I just wanted to enjoy killing enemies

Terrible shooting, cant aim in this game. Challenge levels is s**t, greate idea to add this when you release game on consoles.
