The game changes a few of the things Harry fans have come to expect from the games, and though aimed at a younger audience, Harry fans will find a lot to like in the game.

Just RPG
While Goblet of Fire might be a more exciting and fun game than the rest of the Potter series, it still lacks many of the ingredients that made the Lord of the Rings-based games so much fun.

I love this game. You can choose either Harry, Hermione and Ron along with your sis or bro. The game is really scary and the one with harry being chased by a big fire breathing dragon while he is in a broom is epic. I love the story very much.

This is a very good game, yes it could have been better if it was more open world ( exploring Hogwarts and everything ), but still as a game it's very good, for an open world there's HP and the Order of the Phoenix. But lets talk about this one. The first task was amazing the best in my opinion, the battle against Lord Voldemort was pretty good too, the second task was not bad, another good thing about this game is that you can play as Harry, Ron, or Hermione in any parts (except the three tasks of course), the characters built up was a good job. this game deserve's an overall of 7 and even 8/10, but i'll give it a 9/10 cause it is good.

Gaming Horizon
Fans of Harry Potter may be disappointed that the game doesn’t quite reflect the darkness of the movie or book, but Goblet of Fire certainly does some things right including impressive graphics, sound, nice 3-player co-op and easy to pick up gameplay. The real problem with the game is the camera, AI and repetitiveness.

A cut above its peers. [Jan 2006, p.100]

It’s a healthy change of pace for the series. However, these moments fade out fast as you find yourself repeating levels over and over just so you can move on.

The highlight is a brief but thrilling broomstick chase against a fire-breathing dragon. An underwater interlude is less successful, although it provides variety.

Total Video Games
An unbelievably lazy title that just feels cheap. It has poor gameplay that the target audience will just fall asleep at, which only adds to the infuriating realisation that it will still sell thanks to the lightning scarred teen’s name.

As a Harry Potter Fan I really love this game. It has a pretty cool 3-Player-Coop which I used to play with my best friends a lot who also love HP.

This game actually isn't bad. The graphics are actually really decent. Gameplay was fun although there wasn't a lot of customization. Story follows the movie obviously.

No more open world, no more Hogwarts exploration, replayable levels, where you can't advance if don't complete 100% the previous, a totally disaster

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire came out in 2005. I originally played it back in 2009 but remembered nothing about it except that it was co-op and the trio liked to do a lot of screaming about ‘BEANS!’ I got in the mood to play the old adventure games again and also was wanting a co-op experience and decided to try out Goblet of Fire again. Oh boy, I did not remember this game at ALL! There is no free-roaming in this game at all like the previous installments had and the adventure aspect is similarly non-existent. Instead what we get with Goblet is a level by level game that requires you to go back and play them again NUMEROUS times once you have the proper spells in order to continue with the game. This game keeps you from continuing on by requiring a certain number of Triwizard Cups. And the only way to get them is by replaying levels at least three times, and let me tell you that’s the last thing you want to do. This game is not fun even when playing with someone else. For some reason there’s also a new card system that is supposed to upgrade your magic, health, etc but you really only need about three cards and there’s sooo many and you’re supposed to buy them with beans! If you’re feeling like you want to go back and pick up a Harry Potter game, avoid Goblet of Fire like Little Hangleton’s graveyard, you won’t see the ending to this game.
