Nice faithful remake of Dragon Warrior 3 I love the new artwork and the quality of life features even new classes to great remake.

One of the best indie games in a long while feels like hyper light drifter, Castlevania,and Zelda. This game is challenging but you have many customizations options through different weapons and trinkets. Mina feels good to control and the game looks amazing.

This game was too easy and the whole shoehorned in social system made the game drag on not that the actual battles were any good. Fire Three Houses is more dumbed down then awakening and awakening was already babies first RPG. I beat one playthrough and never came back. I'll take Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance and Blazing Sword over this dumbed down trash any day.

Look I'm not going to beat around the bush this game is nowhere near as good as the masses make it out to be. As an RPG veteran who has played countless games I fail to see what makes this game a generational masterpiece. This game does look impressive but the art style isn't to my taste not enough color for me. The battle system is an issue with me I dont like parry systems in my turn based RPGs,and I've beaten sekiro so the git gud crowd can bugger off. Parrying is a crutch used by many indie RPG devs to cover up a lack of depth with their battle system or to try to please the action RPG crowd who don't like turn based games to begin with. One positive thing and the only positive thing I will say about this game is how it handled items. I love the idea of rechargable items in RPGs this is one of the only things I agree with taking from dark souls. Instead of having 99 hi potions in your inventory or 5 megalixers that you save for th rest of th game,instead you have rechargeable healing items. I dont plan on finishing this game and never will. Don't be fooled by the overwhelming praise this game is just an average RPG that doesn't even pass some of the mid remakes we've gotten in the last ten years. Get this game on sale if you want to or if you really want a good RPG recommendation get trails of cold steel or the dragon quest 3 HD remake.

This is hands down one of the greatest RPG and videogames of all time. Baldurs Gate 2 has an incredibly rich world with lots of companions with stories some hit or miss. You get to enjoy high level DND and get access to some of the coolest spells and items. Infinite replay value and jon irenicus is one of the best villains of all time. I wasn't expecting this game to hold up but when I played this game it became my obsession for a month straight. This is the perfect RPG and nothing else compares.

This was one of the weaker sonic games levels drag on for too long and some of the bosses were extremely tedious. None of the stages really stood out either compared to sonic mania which even that game had issues for me the levels were better paced in that game and boss fights were faster and more enjoyable. Sonic Superstars is a mediocre game that you are better skipping even Forces was more enjoyable.

This game is a pretty interesting mix of a rice farming game and a 2D action **** to break down this gameplay loop you explore a map with a order of ecclesia style world map and explore certain areas to increase your rank to go to more parts of the **** other half of this game is a rice farming game which has far more indepth gameplay mechanics then most games in this genre.I tried to get behind it but I was unable to figure it out and this is required if you want to play the game because player strength is tied to good rice harvests.Interesting game I just wish rice growing was explained better.

Tears Of The Kingdom is more of the same and despite that it isnt an issue for me. Tears Of The Kingdom builds on Breath Of The Wild to add new fun gameplay changes. Being able to construct cool vehicles and battle machines was pretty enjoyable. I spent quite a bit of time with this. I made a roomba with lasers that could destroy an enemy camp with ease and a flying machine that gets me around.Dungeons still **** in this game and the depths and sky didnt add as much as I was hoping for but I still enjoyed this game this isnt a 10/10 like breath of the wild but they added enough new stuff for me to make it new enough for me.

This was one of the better Pokemon games we've had in awhile but its pretty subpar even for switch standards. The gameplay starts off pretty fun but by the 20 hour mark the gameplay loop starts to become stale and the lack of battles and the barren world makes this game score alot lower on my **** for 20 hours but after that the enjoyability goes down.

Elden Ring is fromsoftwares attempt at an open world game and its pretty dang solid. Its one of their finest games and the open world structure added alot more replay value and ways to build your character. I love the open world format because I can make a beeline for my preferred build of choice. My next playthrough I want to go for the blasphemous blade. I dont have alot to say about this game that hasnt already been said its an amazing game. I like bloodborne and sekiro better but this is a phenomal game.

Sekiro is a game I hated on my first run through when it first came out but like Bloodborne its a wine that only tastes better with time. The parrying once it clicks gives me one of the best 3rd person Action game experiences ive ever gotten from any game. Im serious from the setting,music,and the gameplay Sekiro is one of the most enjoyable from software games ive ever experienced. This is a game I would love to platinum one day.

I had issues with this game when it first came out but over time I have grown to like this game alot more with the patches,new mods,and new class editions.Even if act 3 is where the game takes a nose dive this is still one of the best RPGs released in this decade. This game is a DND experience when you cant get the buds together. Has a good story on par with some of biowares best **** amount of party compositions and the sheer amount of dialogue will keep me returning to this game for many years to come.Multiplayer,mods,characters and even a dark urge playthrough that changes up everything. This is one of the best games ever made.

I played 3D world with friends back on the Wii U it was a fun time despite all the arguing over the crown and having coordinate are movement through the level. Its a fun co-op 3D platformer thats not why I got the collection.This collection features a new side mode called bowsers fury which adds a small new campaign which is one of the most enjoyable 3D Mario experiences ive ever had You have one big connected world almost feels like traveling through a diddy kong racing hubworld with small bite sized worlds in **** also have to occassionally deal with bowser who will attack once the sky darkens and you need to avoid his attacks. You find cat shines in this game and this game is adorable with all the cat themed stuff in this game. I want a cat themed mario nintendo make it happen! Loved this game worth it on a sale.

I grew up with Final Fantasy and one of the first real jrpgs I finished not including pokemon or Mario RPG was FF4 on the GBA.I got these games on a sale and for picking it up for $30 this is one of the best collection of jrpgs ever made especially 6. You have some great quality of life improvements like increasing AP gain which makes mastering jobs in 5 less tedious. You can also choose between the original and modern soundtrack which is always **** can also speed up random battles which makes grinding more comfy. If there's one complaint it's the lack of post game content added to the remakes of these games. I loved the bonus content and now it's gone.Shame it added more replay value and challenge. That said it's a great collection of games especially if you get it discounted.

Bloodborne is one of the main reasons to own a PlayStation 4 or 5.This is easily one of the best souls games right up there with DS1 and Elden Ring. I love the Victorian gothic setting this game **** combat music and everything is the chefs kiss. This game is always in the back of my mind.

Horizon was one of the better open world games released in this **** bogged down however by the same uninspired Ubisoft game design box. Towers,camps, it's another flavor of something I played many times before. However what sets this game apart is the combat.Fighting each of the robots all require a different strategy and aiming for weak points and setting traps is pretty fun,more gameplay depth then the average ubislop game. I played through the entire game on very hard and I didn't find the game too **** thunderjaw was the highlight of my playthrough. One thing this game suffers from is a lack of enemy variety once you've mastered fighting each robot the game starts to become less interesting. I also didn't find the story or aloy as a character that interesting. Get this game on a sale otherwise skip it.

I played Five Nights At Freddy's after the hype of the first movie and I was shocked that this was the game birthed a popular franchise.People will say it is a indie game so you cant come into it with the same expectations as a bigger horror game,however I don't agree with that since there are way better indie horror games that came out around the same time as Five Nights At Freddy's that games have more gameplay depth. Five Nights At Freddy's is a game where you play as security guard who watches over the pizzeria. The animatronics move at night and you to get through the night without triggering the **** manage your battery life which depletes over time. Closing the gate will prevent animatronics from coming in but will lower energy faster.Each robot has their own pattern of how they move. This sounds like it is interesting on paper,but the truth is the gameplay gets boring after the first few minutes.Gameplay is just closing doors and checking security **** you get caught you will get an instant game over which is lame,I wish we had some form of self defense but you don't. Fear factor wise the game wasn't that **** jump scares are laughably funny and will slightly startle you at most. Fnaf is cheap gallery of jump scares and the games were only hyped up back in the day because of YouTubers. I stopped after Day 5 because of the tedious and boring gameplay. I wouldn't recommend this game today.

Astro Bot is a pretty good 3D platformer from Sony which we dont get enough **** a love letter for people who grew up with most of PlayStations franchises. As a platformer it is on the simpler side it plays like Mario Galaxy but with more simple controls Astro doesn't have a ton of movement options. I would say this is a good game for $30-40 but not for full price.

So ill try to keep this is spoiler free as possible.Silksong is a pretty amazing videogame.Hornet controls far better then the main character of Hollow Knight,shes pretty mobile in combat and I enjoy the new tool system I much prefer it over the charm **** world is pretty massive even after reaching the credits I found out I still missed a ton of areas Now my criticisms some of the side quests are pretty tedious having to fetch 20 of this 15 are boring and add nothing but boring busy work to a **** second complaint and this is the biggest one the balance.Enemies deal way too much damage nearly every enemy in the game hits for massive damage.When you combine that with the long run backs from benches to bosses you have pretty tedious **** 2025 even souls games dont do run backs anymore they add nothing but tedium to what would have been a 10/10 for me.I would prefer a bench near the boss fight.

So I am a longtime fan of the Rune Factory series.I have played through every but frontier so here's my quick review.I'm kind of mixed on this game most of the depth I came to this series for has been simplified.Farming is way easier,the crafting system has been drastically simplified which is a huge bummer,skills are gone which are now replaced by skill trees which you can unlike more of with XP. through weapon or all **** I disappointed yes but this isn't a mainline game so it's fine. Now let's get to some of the new features and improved ones starting with settlement building.Settlement building is one of the main new features of this **** can get plots of land you can use to make farm plots and buildings which can improve your stats and shops like a smithy and flower shop which you can assign NPCs to run them.Village need to be fed everyday which costs gold.Money isn't a huge issue in this game you can even sell your items to shops ifyou dont feel like waiting for your items to ship. The second improved feature in some ways is combat.Despite this game lacking rune abilities for weapons along with spells.Combat feels far more fluid and I love the new edition of bows which I have been for **** can aim the bow to snipe enemies from far away or you you lock on and attack **** bow is easily my favorite weapon although I haven't gotten duel blades yet so who knows if my opinion will change.I hope Rune Factory 6 will bring this bow over. The romance I haven't had a chance to play around with much but most of the characters are cute although I feel like daily dialogue doesn't hold a candle to 4 but hey Rune Factory 4 is a tough game to top in terms of characters. I do like this game it's not the best Rune Factory game ever for me.I feel like 3 and 4 are still peak Rune Factory maybe even 5.
