Aniimo is the next big thing. From the incredible creature designs to a world filled with life and magic, there’s just so much to enjoy. There’s a little something for everyone here, although sharing that with people can be a bit cumbersome. Aside from the usual mobile game problems and some UI issues, the game is a great experience. The monetization isn’t too bad, and there’s no gacha for the Aniimo themselves, but you can still buy plenty of things to give you a leg up in terms of consumable items. There’s a lot more coming from Aniimo, and I am very excited to see where it leads.

INVEN
The open world stands out for bringing the distinct personalities and ecology of over 200 Aniimo to life. Capturing, Twine, and elemental interactions naturally tie collection and exploration together, though the simplistic combat and lack of polish leave something to be desired. Even so, the game remains highly accessible.

At least for the moment, Aniimo cannot even remotely be considered a "Pokémon killer," as it lacks the fundamental elements needed to truly challenge the GameFreak series—most notably the complete absence of a competitive mode worthy of the name. That said, the adventure crafted by Pawprint Studios is a joy to play and will keep you glued to the screen for hours as you hunt for every creature and its variants. Even though the story struggles to leave a lasting impression, the game succeeds in offering a fun-to-explore open world, featuring creatures with consistently impressive designs and gameplay that encourages interaction with each one. Given that the title is free-to-play, features unobtrusive microtransactions, and is available on a wide range of platforms, anyone who enjoys monster-catching games should definitely give it a try.

Aniimo is a charmingly detailed live service game with a creature collection system, which is simple on the surface and as deep as the player wants to dive into it. With a focus on exploration, collection and housing, players who want a challenging creature battler may find it lacking, but for everyone who enjoys exploring pastel-coloured worlds along fluffy creatures, Aniimo is worth a look.

Aniimo is a fun free-to-play creature collector with engaging real-time combat and quite a bit of content to explore. The creature design is fantastic, and the world is a beautiful space to explore. The story isn’t earth-shattering, but it keeps things moving along. While you’ll engage with some of the lighter F2P elements each day, none of it ever hinders your progress or stonewalls your experience. Anyone willing to use the bandwidth to download this game should give it a try.

Aniimo offers a compelling creature-collection experience, successfully capturing the essence of its inspirations while introducing innovative mechanics like regional variants and divergent evolutions. The game blends monster-catching with action RPG combat, allowing players to control their Aniimos directly. Exploration is rewarding, with diverse interactions and hidden elements. Despite its strengths, the reviewer expresses significant concerns about the heavy monetization, which, while currently focused on cosmetics, presents a clear path towards a pay-to-win model.

Aniimo is a decent enough Pokémon-like, but its live-service trappings hold it back from reaching its full potential.

Honestly great chill game also interesting and you get a lot of free stuff and content worth of your time, you really don't need to mayan the game 24/7 only on getting alphas etc. This game got a lot of stuff to do beside it, farming etc, a lot to explore puzzles and other stuff also normal and shiny animos free of any energy stuff, brother you are playing a sandbox game limits are in your head and you can also leasen them or force them on yourself. About monetizing you really are hipocritic check out helldivers which is a paid game xd, where everything is extra paid battlepasses etc is the curse of this times, but honestly as i play some gachas, this game for sure doesn't have predatory monetizing, stuff is cosmetic and also fast forwarding, you get no other things than you get from fortnite, like some extra aniimo, but still you can most probably get it normally playing, by the way the special cubes also are available after playing more, also there are a lot of events inside. If your worst nightmare is free2play game which need somehow to survive by monetizment, then you probably shouldn't play any f2p game today because 3/4 from them will and have the same mechanics and sometimes even worse, here you also are not fastened by fomo because you can also lock some stuff from disappering from store for free by just clicking a button, you got shop with rotational stuff. Just learn to have fun, after starting playing i still don't see any need to pay for it, but honestly i think that they deserve money for what they made, game is nice overall and fun.

TLDR: There’s a really fun game here. I just hope some of the menus, controller support, tutorials, timers, and story get some additional polish as development continues. Aniimo is a genuinely enjoyable open-world creature-collection game that clearly takes inspiration from Pokémon and Palworld while adding plenty of its own ideas. There’s a lot to do: exploring, collecting resources and Aniimo, completing activities, building up your own resource farm and oasis, and steadily improving your gear. Progression feels relatively fast, and there’s plenty of free gear and resources to keep you moving without constantly feeling like you need to grind. My biggest issue is that the main story feels pretty bland. The world itself has a lot going on, but the story hasn’t given me much reason to feel invested in what’s happening. There are also several areas that could use some polish: Menus: There are far too many menu categories, making it surprisingly difficult to find what you’re looking for, especially when you’re still learning the game. Even when there’s an indicator that you have something new to check, it can be difficult to figure out where that item actually is. Controller support: This is probably my biggest gameplay-related frustration. For a game released on both Xbox and Steam, controller implementation feels underdeveloped. There are times when buttons aren’t clearly indicated or don’t work as expected, forcing me to grab the mouse just to interact with something. Building timers: Waiting 45 minutes for a higher-level trailer upgrade to finish feels unnecessary. When I’m actively playing and having fun building things, being forced to stop the process for an artificial timer is frustrating. Activities aren’t always explained well: Some activities, such as the tea party used to unlock cosmetic currency, aren’t particularly intuitive. I ended up having to watch a YouTube tutorial to figure out what I was supposed to do. An optional tutorial or explanation when entering these activities would go a long way. Voice acting: The actors bring a lot of energy, which I appreciate, but some characters sound too similar. In particular, the two best friends can be difficult to distinguish when they’re having a conversation. Performance: This game has earned the distinction of making my PC run hotter than anything else I’ve played. Nothing dangerous, but definitely noticeable. One other thing that may be subjective: the title theme really isn’t for me. From my perspective as a male player, the bubbly, poppy, very feminine style of the song feels completely out of sync with what I personally expect from the game and honestly makes me feel a little embarrassed when it starts playing. Obviously, that’s a personal preference rather than a flaw with the game itself. Despite all of that, I’m still enjoying Aniimo and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes. The open world, collecting, exploration, building, and overall progression loop are fun enough that I keep coming back. I’m especially interested in the mobile version. Being able to quickly log in, replenish my farms, collect resources, and handle some AFK activities without having to sit down at my PC—or leave my PC running—sounds like a great fit for this type of game.

Note objective sur 100 : 67. Note subjective sur 100 : 61. Temps de jeu : 61,8h. Succès : 28/64 (43%).

Another palworld clone trying to cash in on the hype. Aniimos gameplay is boring and uninspired it takes most of thesame gamelay from pokemon legends arceus. The open world is boring to **** solve very simple gameplay challenges of collecting all the gems or doing extremely basic puzzles like burning vines which feel like they belong in a terrible mobile game. Battles are mind numbingly boring as well and they even give you a giant red ring showing where the attack is going to land because this game doesn't coddle you enough. This game is also mind numbing easy to I caught a level 47 monster along with an alpha aniimo within an hour of gameplay. So for the positive section of my review. This game is free to play and does have microtransactions but as far as I know they aren't required. The monsters are also cute and unlike palworld that plagiarized pokemons designs this game has its own identify. That's where the positives end though So for my verdict this game isn't really worth your time if you want a good monster collecting rpg try Digimon Time Stranger the new Dragon Quest Monster game coming out soon.
