This game is not what most of the people expected. In the first 10h it is trying to be the Hollow Knight we knew and then changes abruptly into something else only for you not to refund, and for journalists on gamescom to make good reviews. No more fun exploring, very few amuletes and mechanics that you can combine. VERY VERY BAD ecomics and **** grind. Game looks exactly like the original, music is average. Idk what they did for seven years, but silksong looks like cropped original for the sake of hardcore.

Unlike other MGS games Guns of the Patriots focuses solely on story and characters, gameplay plays the minor role. Though game is stuffed through and through with new cool mechanics, features and so on, it just not enough time for them to be shown properly: for every 30 minutes of gameplay we have an hour of cutscenes. That's the reason why MGS 4 has the smallest replayability in the series for me. BUT... the first playthrough was so great, i can still remember how emotionally shocked (in a good way) i was when i saw the ending for the first time. Still one of the best moment in vidya. So... 8/10

Surprisingly, this game is not inferior to its successor. In some ways it's even better, especially in replayability

The only good 3d Fallout game. Not flawless but still solid. Plot, screenplay, dialogs performed way better than in Fallout 3 or 4. But gameplay, combat and level design have not passed the test of time. So 8/10

pure **** This game killed belief in vidya inside me. RPG/action fusion accomplished in the worst way possible. I regret about wasted time, i wish i haven't played this game. 5/10

A typical Ubisoft game no more, no less. I wonder why it is keeping gain so much hate even today, 7 years afterwards. Dowdy plot, boring characters, poor gameplay mechanics - everything in the best traditions of Assassin's Creed games, nothing new. But... That neo-noir style the game was made in kept me glued to screen throughout whole campaign. Only because of aesthetics i'll give it 7/10.

In this game you can magnetize enemies with prosthetic hand and then make them fall asleep with record of a lullaby. What else could gamer ask for? The only one good stealth sandbox, there is nothing similar on the market so far, unfortunately. However this game does have many flaws — uncompleted story, empty open-world, blank characters and etc. But execution of gameplay outweights all of them. Impartially The Phantom Pain deserves 8/10 but this game gave me hundreds of hours of incessant fun like no other game did, so 10/10

Even after 20 years since MGS 2 release it still can impress such cynical zoomer as me. Despite my contempt to anime, main plot turned out to be pretty captivating and intriguing, a bit ridiculous yeah, but nevertheless still essential to these days, thanks to prophetic ideas and concepts laid down in it. Gameplay abounds in details, several are so bizarre i wonder how could anyone come up with them. Level design sets the quality bar for years to come — sandbox-type closed stealth arenas with vigilant guards and lots of kinds of interaction with environment. A huge step forward from more arcade MGS 1 . Graphics is top notch for those times, all the small visual details such as realtime melting ice cubes, steam from the mouth, flies revolving around light sources and etc., appear not so often in videogames even nowadays. Besides, all OSTs are extremely beautiful and atmospheric . Even that standing out jazzy RnB song in the end credits was something. 9/10

I couldn't even imagine that a game released 14 years ago would be able to seize my attention so intensely. Even though some game aspects, such as enemy AI work, gunplay and confusing level design aged not so well, first Bioshock still may be considered as the iconic piece of art , thanks to potent plot and ideas embedded in it. Unfortunately there are so few good games in steampunk setting nowadays, we must appreciate games like this.

Never thought i'd like the setting of the medieval eastern Europe, but this game evoked a genuine interest in that era in me. The main plot, music, settlements design — everything filled with Slavic soul. Gameplay is specific. Fans of the hardcore realistic combat system would probably love it, but for me mechanics seemed clumsy and too disbalanced. 8/10

Pure fun gameplay, silly plot, actually good optimization and visuals — what else to ask for? It is Ubisoft after all. This Far Cry is way better than all previous ones, btw. 7/10

My first RE game. Always thought these games were solely about two things — action and silly b-movie plot. This game has both, but it is a good horror in the meantime. I will never forget first emergence of Tyrant and that slowly increasing sound of his steps, meaning — HE IS APPROACHING! God, it was soooo tense. Amazing 10-hours-long thriller. That episode in sewer was quite dull though. 8/10

Most anticipated game of 2020 became the most hated one. Console players may find it fair, due to terrible optimization, countless bugs, extremely low FPS and overall graphics downgrade. Pretty justified hatred indeed. But PC version came out in better and more polished shape so most of those notorious problems passed by me. Main plot kept me glued to the screen throughout the entire campaign. Game was filled through-and-through with humor and irony, even though most of events in the story were quite tragical. Cyberpunk aesthetics was original. There was no grim noir vibe inherent to the genre , Night-city was actually bright and sun shone constantly. But the main genre concept "high tech — low life" remained and was represented honorably. Gameplay is... normal. Neither bad nor superb. Just another open-world first person action à la Far Cry but with rare RPG elements. Map is immense and well-detailed so you will certainly spend couple tens of hours only exploring it. Music, characters, dialogs — everything was made with soul. I can't agree with people ( PC players particularly) who give this game 0/10 and blame CD project in degradation solely because of several bugs and overall technical state. Cyberpunk 2077 is a true next-gen experience if you play it on appropriate PC, and even if you don't have one an average computer can still run it on a typical console-game level. Despite all flaws Cyberpunk can impress , just give it a chance. Solid 8/10

The most challenging DS part for me. Good balanced combat, intrinsic for RPG replayability, and overall atmosphere of the devastated fantasy world — all significant aspects from the previous parts remain here but with graphics improved and controls fixed. Music is peerless and art style is flawless. Easy 9/10 (becouse of frequent brazenly copypasted Bloodborne assets and overall similarity of visuals)

The only good not-kojima's Metal Gear game. An excellent slasher with unique ingame physics approach. This part absolutely fits in the canon of the series (no matter what fans say) and brings some new depth and colors to it. Boss fights, music, dialogs,characters — everything was made with soul. Senator Armstrong did nothing wrong. 9/10 (too little Sunny's screen time)

One of the most significant hidden gem games of the whole videogame history. All those ideas taken from previous part were improved and enhanced. Creepy atmosphere, steampunk aesthetics and complex level design — everything was made very professional. The only thing that irritates me is that it's too easy to play it stealthy (even on extreme difficulty guards are not much of a threat — for example they won't wake up from blackjack stun even after half an hour of real time ). This game aged like a good wine though . 9/10

This game was doomed from the very begging of the development. Main concept about a girl with supernatural telepathic abilities capable to talk with dead men is extremely trivial, characters and dialogs are dull and unremarkable however, so they don't help the situation. But the absolute lack of significance of the choices makes B2S truly one of the most worthless games ever. The acting is good though. So 5/10

This game could be the most iconic interactive movie for its time, but those sci-fi elements ( such us detective's cheat glasses for example) killed the whole atmosphere of mature grim noir for me. Frequent plot holes and overtly boring characters ultimately corrupted my experience. Due to the absence of gameplay itself the story becomes the most important part of Heavy Rain, so it is unacceptable for writers to spoil it. 6/10 only becouse of that Madison's dance in club

This game is avowed standard for all open-world games. And it certainly deserves this title. No surprises why people still play the online mode even though GTA V itself came out eight years ago ( two console generations have already passed, btw ). But for me multiplayer doesn't matter. These games were always about single campaign. Unlike Red Dead Redemption franchise, Grand Theft Auto V is not much different from its predecessor. However sizes of map increased drastically . It was the case when quantity does not mean quality. The game corresponds to the level of the previous ones, but brings very little new stuff. Graphics is flawless though 7/10. Fine game

This game is the main reason why all current PS exclusives are what they are — story-driven semiaction full of scripts and QTE. It was TLOU who created the trend for such bizarre action-games standards (previous Naughty Dog games hadn't such influence even though had pretty similar game design approach). Can't blame Sony for that — demand breeds supply, after all. But i personally can't understand people who give this game the title of the best of the decade. Doubtless, story is awesome, but overall gameplay is average at best. Action component was entirely adopted from Uncharted franchise, so nothing new to see here. Stealth is poor due to AI imperfection and survival side of the game properly reveals only on hard difficulties. 7/10 Not bad, but a tad too overrated

I love this genre. Blacklist was one of the last pure stealth games, and the last Splinter Cell game. What a pity. I just hope that Ubisoft someday remember that they have this magnificent franchise and will make a new game. In the meantime, all we can do is just replay old parts, this game included ( it was released 8!!! years ago after all). 8/10 ( Veteran difficulty level wasn't challenging enough)

Probably the best Quantic Dream game. I'm not a big fan of interactive movie genre, but this game is pretty decent. The decisions you make actually matter. Overall plot is a bit trivial, but this is compensated by the number of possible event outcomes. Graphics is top notch. A benchmark game of its genre 8/10

This game is average at best, but all those praises sung to it make it one of the most overrated pieces of digital art ever. А pretentious plot, coupled with an incredibly raw gameplay and unmet expectations from trailers - the only things you will find here. Bad game > overrated game

Extremely overrated game that people defend for any cost just not to admit that this is another fanservice anime, which only meaning of existence is to be the basis for countless porn SFMs. It would be better if the whole game was visual novel solely concentrated on pretentios plot and 2B's arse , but instead we have dull repetitive half-slasher half-RPG game with drab quests and primitive core mechanics (most of the encounters you'll have to overcome by just spamming the attack button). All characters are empty and utterly boring. Graphics stuck in PS3 era, when the first part came out. Music is decent though. Concentrated trash 4/10

Cult classic game ( according to the assurances of experienced gamers ) in fact constitutes a simple FPS with good physics and very little replayability. I admit that the graphics and animations were incredible for those times, and special mechanics such us Gravity gun were fresh and original, but still it is just another shooter no more, no less, with all these shooter games cliches that were used in the first half life as well. The game is pretty fun though, so 7/10

I genuinely can't understand why would anyone give it more than 5/10. The only option to play this game properly — play it modded, otherwise you will get buggy uncompleted mess. 90% percents of quests there are dedicated to dungeon clearing, the rest do not start at all. The main "plot" — generic fantasy $hit about chosen one whose destiny is to defeat ancient evil and etc. Graphics remained at the Oblivion level. Video game industry died the day when this piece of vidya was claimed GOTY of 2011, the year when Dark Souls and Deus Ex HR came out.

Easy one of the best games i've ever played. Not flawless but still iconic. Story ( the strongest part of Witcher 3 ) is so awesome, i can barely name games with narration and dialogs that good. Especially i'd like to point out the postmodern component of it, screenwriters perfectly conveyed the ideas and concepts laid down in the books. Gameplay itself sometimes may seem repetitive, due to scope of the content (all these endless question marks on Skellige) but most of it is optional. At the same time the main quest provides very intense and lush adventure, full of memorable moments and characters. Can't find reasons to hate it . 9/10 by far
