The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered8
Apr 26, 2025
Really been enjoying so far as someone who was too young to enjoy the original game this remake allows players like myself to get to experience a wonderful game that both maintains the legacy of the original and offers something new. The combat is solid an good with a variety of weapons and ways to approach each engagement. The story is very good and the game features the voice work of some very notable actors like Sean Bean & Patrick Stewart. The level and world design is pretty good and one of the biggest strengths of the game. The game also features the humor and laughable NPC'S characters that Bethesda is known for without any of them being too much of a nuisance. I've been fortunate to only run into small performance issues while playing on Series S and Steam Deck during my first 5-6 hours playing it. Overall its a great remake that any RPG fan should give a shot and even those new to the genre.

Silent Hill 29

Decided to buy this late last week after being bombarded by ads about it online and as it was my final full priced game of 2024 I wasn't disappointed with my decision. I'm about 7 hours into the game and so far it's a very good Remake with nice gameplay and visuals apart and that's from someone who was too young to play the original game when it released my only issues with the game is the occasional times your character decides to swing his weapon the complete opposite direction of what you wanted him to do. The story is so far an increasingly complex narrative that progresses well as you move through the intricately designed levels and frequently changes as you meet more people trapped in the town of Silent Hill. I've been fortunate to not run into any performance issues playing on PS5 but I do recommend tinkering a little bit with the visual settings so you can see a little bit better in the dense fog. I also played on light puzzles since I'm not typically a fan of them in my experiences so the only ones I had to deal with are for the progression of the game if you get stuck for too long theirs a lot of guides and walk throughs to get through. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new Pyschological Horror Game and from what I've seen treats the original game with reverence while it adds an element to keep it new for both returning and those playing Silent Hill for the first time like myself.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II9
Sep 10, 2024
I've had my eyes on this game for a while now and now that launch date has arrived im not disappointed in the slightest. The game is a yet another great addition into the larger legacy of Warhammer 40K and stands on stands on its own not only being apart of that great heritage but as an over the top action shooter game that was inspired by games like the original Gears Of War Trilogy and newer Doom games!!! The online 6v6 mode is fun for the few games I've played but feel like it would benefit by the addition of more classes and gamemodes as types go on. The 3 player campaign and horde mode are definitely my favorite parts of the game pair that with the extensive customization options for your Space Marine and you have a recipe for success in a multiplayer shooter game. Hats off to the teams at Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment for crafting one of if not the best game of 2024 and here's hoping for its continued success in future updates

I've been waiting for this game to drop on console ever since I first saw gameplay of it drop on PC a few years ago. This game didn't disappoint and was worth the wait great customization items, really fun gamemodes like capture the battery and infection inaddition to classic KOTH and TDM. A wide variety of weapons such as a shotgun, rpg, and flamethrower. This game is a great one to kick back and relax with some friends. I definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a multiplayer fps/3ps game (it can be played in both first or 3rd person which is a huge W in my book)

This game is solid the story draws you in and is set in a really cool period in Japanese history and the combat is good minus the strange parry and stamina system that takes some getting used too but be patient with it and there are some settings that can make it the stamina bar a little easier to work with which is nice. The character customization is a nice touch and the weapons are an added plus as well. Unfortunately visually this game leaves much to be desired there are spots where it looks much more like a 2014 game than a 2024 game and I've had some issues with the game not starting (thankfully it was resolved quickly). Overall the pluses for the game are the setting and weaponry but visually it's lacking and the fight can be rather repetitive.
