Invincible is grand, ambitious and morally complex at every turn. While many of our characters are violently pummelled and disembowelled on screen, it’s nearly as painful to think that we’ll have to wait until 2024 to see more of it.

From its slick animation to its excellent voice cast, it's a winner from top to bottom. And just when you think you know exactly which direction it's going to explore, it pulls the rug out from under you in a truly exciting way. The long-running comic series couldn't have been made into a better serialized format, and if the rest of the show is just as interesting as this one, Amazon has quite the hit on its hands.

This is my favorite show ever made, and anyone who says otherwise is obviously on some dangerous, unfiltered crack

My Review – Invincible – 10/10 I gave Invincible a 10 out of 10 because it’s an intense, emotional, and action-packed superhero series. The story of Mark Grayson discovering his powers and dealing with the responsibilities and dangers of being a hero is gripping from start to finish. The characters are complex and memorable, the action sequences are brutal and well-animated, and the storytelling balances drama, humor, and suspense perfectly. It’s a show that keeps you hooked and constantly surprises you. This is why Invincible is a 10/10.

Despite a few speed bumps and extraneous detours, Invincible Season 4 earns its keep as both the show’s biggest entry to date and its most intimate.

Aside from the dart-throwing storytelling, the character writing and drama shared between whatever sector, hero or villain, is where the series lives up to its name. To its strength, Season Two seriously considers the previous events emotionally affecting the lives of its ensemble and expands on them thoughtfully.

While too early to tell exactly how it will stack up as a season, let alone a series, in an era where lots of “ambitious” TV can feel all too predictable, “Invincible” should keep viewers on their toes — for the right reasons.

Amazon already has a searing satire about out-of-control superheroes, "The Boys," which has quickly become its signature series. "Invincible," an animated show with basically the same broad outline, thus feels a tad redundant, though the opening episodes, produced very much for adults, yield some of the same visceral thrills.

The voice cast is the easiest thing to praise about Invincible, which features J.K. Simmons as the gruff and irascible Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as Mark’s mom Debbie and Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Walton Goggins and Jason Mantzoukas in supporting roles. But their spirited turns can’t make up for the series’ fatally sluggish pacing — the result of stretching out what feels like a half-hour’s worth of material into 45 bloated minutes.

Pretty good series. Awesome gory action. Solid plot that is kind of dark. Only thing that bugs me is all the woke propaganda. It's a very enjoyable series non the less though. Highly recommended (when you watch it for free online).

Does a spectacular back half of a first season make up for the boring as heck first half? Maybe. I was won over when the stories started getting a little more interesting. I read what felt like 100 issues of the comic back in the day and the show seems to be living up to the comics. Voice acting is pretty good. Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and JK Simmons are spectacular. Everyone else kinda blends together. The animation itself is good and mimics the comic book style quite well. I'm excited to see what another season brings, though I remember the quality of stories in the comics fell off a cliff at some point. There's absolutely nothing political at all about this show. If you like superhero stuff, this show is pretty good.

Overall the show was good. The Omni Man twist is great and the main character doesn't have any major flaws in my opinion. My problem with the show is **** is a plague upon my eyes. I never knew I could hold so much hate for fictional character. I now very strongly dislike the voice actor now despite not knowing anything about her or her beliefs, that's how much I hate this character. The character all around is just so infuriating, The fact that she knew Mark was Invincible the whole time is just so **** stupid. I mean how the **** can she be pissed at Mark for no god damn reason. She was complaining about him not showing up to a DAMN SOUP KITCHEN! **** HE WAS SAVING THE WORLD!!! She's constant talking about make the world you want to live in and when he actually goes out and does that in a very huge way she gets **** that he wasn't at the **** SOUP KITCHEN! HE WAS GETTING HIS **** KICKED AND SHE WANTED TO GET MAD HE WAS WASN'T AT THAT **** SOUP!!! Whilst she was cooking for crackheads he was actually making a difference. Then when they're at the college and Mark leaves during the middle of a monster attack to suit up, she gets all teary eyed and starts crying saying he just ditched her. SHE KNEW AT THIS POINT!!! WHAT THE **** WERE THOSE TEARS FOR AIDEN!!! TELL ME WHAT THE **** WERE THEY FOR!?!?!?! Then she goes to party and nearly CHEATS! If that guy didn't mention his girlfriend she would've ****. And then when Mark gets around to revealing his secret identity to her all of sudden SHE GETS PISSED. Saying that he should've revealed to her earlier instead of lying, like **** ITS A SECRET IDENTITY he was trying to PROTECT YOU!!!! And she starts talking about how he made her feel unimportant, **** YOU AREN'T IMPORTANT!!! And then when Mark tells his friends about the situation they tell him he's in the wrong which makes dislike these characters that I previously enjoyed, HOW THE **** IS HE IN THE WRONG. I HATE THIS CHARACTER, I **** HATE HER!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED OR KILLED OFF, I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL SEND DEATH THREATS UNTIL THIS CHARACTER VANISHES. #**** I **** HATE THIS **** FROM THE DARK COROSIVE BOTTOM I OF **** DAMN HEART, STICK TO THE SIDELINES HOE!!!!!!
