The Bombing Of Pan Am 103 isn’t out to assess blame around why the investigation took so long or why it took even longer to bring anyone to justice over the largest terrorist attack on Scottish soil. But it’s not boring, either, which is a credit to the cast and to Lee’s insistence of giving the investigators lives outside of their jobs.

The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare doesn’t say anything new about the Idaho State murders, but it gives viewers more insight into the victims and their lives, which is always welcome in the true crime genre.

Furious can be too glib for its own good, and doesn’t seem to know when to ratchet back the little gags and let the weighty story stand on its own. But we hope those distractions get stripped away as Alice gets closer to catching Caroline.

Stuart Fails To Save The Universe is a funny, and weird-in-a-good-way take on Big Bang characters that we only got to know via their interactions with the show’s Big 5 (or Big 7 if you count Amy and Bernadette). Plus, it’s a fast watch, with the episodes only taking 15-25 minutes.

Season 4 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds brings its well-established character development to bear on a new round of intergalactic missions, Starfleet protocols, and the stardust of light humor. It’s a nice way to spend time with a crew we feel we know, no matter where the final frontier takes them.

Ransom Canyon is definitely still a soapy, sexy guilty pleasure kind of a show. But with the addition of Clarkson and some focus on the main storylines, it’s become a soapy, sexy show with a bit more depth.

King Of The Hill continues to do exactly what it’s been doing since its first episode in 1997, giving us funny stories about Hank Hill, his family and friends that center less around gags and more around their characters and reactions.

The East Palace has enough intrigue, stunning cinematography, and committed worldbuilding to hook viewers on the first episode and immerse you in its twisting tale.

The Map Of Longing strikes the right emotional notes with its story, which is helped along by some amazing chemistry between its two stars.

A well-made series full of great action, acting, and intrigue that’s all pulled together and elevated by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham’s effortless chemistry, talent, and charm.
