Absolutely disgusting movie with a detestable plot, terrible acting, low quality costumes, bad makeup and lighting - there’s nothing redeeming about this production whatsoever.

A few good moments but the casting & dialogue are awful and the fake hype around the movie is strange - it’s a remake of a remake of a remake of a classic movie. I would rather watch the original movie made in 1911 than watch this ever again.

Hard to watch the constant quips and lack of stakes or professionalism in storytelling make this a joke of a movie… no wonder it flopped

Really hard to get into for the first 20-30 minutes but after that it’s really top notch.

What in the world happened to Toy Story? Why is it still going? This movie rehashes all the previous messages that they already covered but does it again in a worse way. I felt nothing watching this at all.

Bleep Bloop. I’d rather watch They Live again for the 1000th time than this cringey low effort knock off.

Contains spoilers // This movie has no real plot and can’t resolve any issues across its nearly 2 1/2 hour run time. // So for the first hour we just see weirdly diverse spidermen and women and a guy who can create black holes. Black hole guy has beef with miles over the events of the first movie (probably Peter Parker reincarnated or yet another variant Spiderman - the movie never tells us). We are introduced to what is supposed to be a small team of spider people that ends up being the size of a city. What do they do, why are they necessary, who is guarding their universe? // The second hour fails to introduce us to most of any of the variant spidermen other than surface level intros if that. The geniuses tell miles that his dad has to die and not to save him. Stunning. Miles says F that and he’s going to save his dad. Brave. The spidermen all in unison try to stop him, none of them questioning why they are trying to stop miles. We learn that for some reason miles is not supposed to be Spiderman (which is somehow his fault for existing) and he **** now according to the diverse spider team. // Miles is captured by prowler miles (spooky?) & then nothing happens and the movie ends. // The plot is nothing, the movie tells us nothing, the characters are all grating and annoying. If I saw this in theatres I would have walked out. 2 stars for decent animation I guess.

They broke their own lore multiple times. I watched this with my daughter who is a super fan of the franchise and we both were bored to tears. So many weird choices, and a plot that goes absolutely nowhere. We get introduced to Afton about 20 mins before the end of the movie and about 5 minutes before he appears. Afton is a joke. The kills are a joke. This is a poorly written, poorly paced slopfest that is boring to watch with nothing scary in it, no jumpscares that worked. Even the music ****- they didn’t include the iconic FNAF song. If people actually like this, media in general is doomed. Worst thing is this piece of trash will make a ton of money off brand recognition and people will blindly praise it because our standards as a society have degraded to a point where there is no coming back. My daughter and I hated this dumb movie.

Dumb plot, dumb action, dumb violence. But I guess that’s the point?

If they were going to change so much, they should have created a different movie. Beebop and rocksteady are good guys for some reason, the other mutants aren’t interesting. They don’t do anything fun, and there’s way too much dialogue without anything happening on screen. Just skip this trash and save your $.

Unnecessary and lacks the charm of the original. Changes story elements for no reason and adds songs that aren’t very good. Designs are lifeless.
