The Incredibles is one of those movies that reminds me why Pixar was on such an incredible run during the 2000s. It’s more than just a superhero movie—it has great humor, memorable characters, and a surprising amount of heart. Even after all these years, it still feels fresh and incredibly entertaining. What I like most is how well it balances action and family dynamics. The superhero elements are exciting, but the movie never forgets that the Parr family is at the center of everything. Their interactions feel natural, and each character gets a chance to shine without anyone feeling left behind. The pacing is also excellent, keeping things moving without ever feeling rushed.Visually, it has aged really well too. Of course, newer Pixar films are technically more advanced, but The Incredibles still has a unique style that gives it its own identity. Michael Giacchino’s soundtrack deserves a mention as well—it perfectly captures that classic spy movie vibe and makes the action scenes even more fun.Overall, The Incredibles is simply a classic. It’s funny, exciting, and easy to revisit no matter how many years have passed. A solid 8/10 from me, and it definitely made me want to jump straight into The Incredibles 2 while everything is still fresh in my mind.

This animation is the best animation in history in my opinion because of its very high replay value. I have never watched any animation like this many times. Its replay value is very high and you can watch it over and over again and enjoy it. You can watch it every year. I love the character of Bob Parr. In my opinion Incredibles 2 was a very bad animation and I give it a zero and it should have never been made or it should have been much much better than what was released. But this is a strange masterpiece with very high replay value.

A nearly flawless film that tells an incredibly (pun totally intended) well thought out story with so much depth, paired with impressive animation for its time.

Greetings from Lithuania.
"The Incredibles" (2004) was and is still a great animated movie that easily appeals to the whole family. It's first half is incredible, and will more likely be more satisfying to grown ups. Second part - more for kids as it is were the adventures and action really kicks in. I did enjoy this movie back in 2004 upon its release, and I'm enjoying it in 2026 upon watching it on 4K. Writing is smart, there are multiple references to James Bond movies, it is very funny at times and has a great message about family. Sure, the animation doesn't look as amazing as it was in 2004 - this is why the hand drawn animation is ageless - computer animation - not so much.Overall, "The Incredibles" was a bit ahead of its time and just before the Marvel cinematic universe has been born. It's still hold incredibly well especially first half of the film due to excellent writing and great voice acting and directing.

Watching The Incredibles in 2025 is a masterclass in classic nostalgia. It’s wild to think this came out over 20 years ago because it still manages to out-write and out-pace about 90% of the live-action superhero movies that have flooded theaters since. Brad Bird didn’t just make a "kids' movie"; he made a midlife-crisis drama that happens to have capes, and that grounded reality is why it’s a timeless masterpiece. From the jazzy, 60s-inspired score to the retro-futuristic aesthetic of Syndrome’s island, the film drips with style. The pacing is relentless, the stakes feel surprisingly heavy (the "Kronos" scene is still chilling), and the family dynamic—especially the relatable bickering between Dash and Violet—feels more human than most actual human **** we have to talk about the animation. While the tech has obviously evolved, the character designs remain iconic. However, let’s be real: the animators had absolutely no business going that crazy with Elastigirl. Her design is highkey "IYKYK" territory, and it’s become a permanent part of the internet’s collective consciousness for a reason. They really sat in the studio and decided to give Helen Parr the most distracting silhouette in Pixar history, and honestly? **** movie is a perfect 10. It’s the definition of "they don't make 'em like this anymore." Whether you’re here for the sharp social commentary on mediocrity or you’re just a fan of the... specialized character design, The Incredibles remains the gold standard for animation. It’s pure, unadulterated nostalgia that holds up better than any of us could have hoped.

This is my 2nd favorite Pixar movie, and it's an amazing one! Pixar makes the best movies of all time, and me calling it the 2nd best must win an award! (Oh wait, it did.) 10/10.

The Incredibles is no doubt incredible. A film that parodies the superhero genre and yet takes it more seriously than almost any superhero movie of the modern age. The film follows the Parrs, a family of superheroes and the father Bob wishing the return to the glory days before superheroes were illegal, however he bites off more than he can chew. This film's two major strong suits are its characters and its tone. The characters in this movie are incredibly well written. -Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible): A washed up superhero forced underground who longs to return to his glory days. When he gets to be a hero again he forgets what he can lose in the process. He is well meaning but not very forward thinking. -Helen Parr (Elastagirl): Unlike her husband, she is able to try and enjoy her retirement as a superhero. She is the rock of the family keeping not only Bob but their children in check. When Bob is captured she springs into action. She is cautious and careful. -Syndrome: One of the most cunning Disney villains of all time. A wannabe sidekick ousted by his favorite hero who turns into a villain who exterminates heroes in an attempt to become one himself. The kids, Frozone, even Edna Mode, everyone has something to bring to this film. Even the Syndrome guards or the police during the fire scene have their moments. No character is wasted in this film. The tone of this film is what leaves it so iconic. As cartoonish and the characters can be, the film does not hide the darkness in their world. Syndrome exterminated most heroes, there are scenes including suicide and murder. The guards in this movie hunt the Parrs, they want to kill them including the children. Helen even has a speech where she explains to the kids the bad guys are not like the ones you see in cartoons. This world takes itself seriously. The color grading and music help elevate this to give a very specific style of cartoonish whimsy with a touch of reality. The Incredibles also uses its cartoon style to give the superpowers a more normal look. A film in 2004 with a superhero using stretch powers would not hold up graphically in the current day but when the whole film is animated it helps keep it timeless. In the end this is one of the greatest superhero films of all time, and easily surpasses most modern superhero films through its use of dark storytelling and incredibly written characters. It’s hard to top a film like this.

I thought it was brilliant as I felt Brad Bird really did offer a lot to the Superhero multiverse by adding a lot of creativity with the concept and theme as it adds and blends elements but in absolute volcanic and robotic excitement dynamic tone and ton manner to make this a superhero storyline to remember.

The Incredibles is a timeless movie, with people of all ages enjoying it. Sure, there are movies with "better animation" but that doesn't stop The Incredibles from being one of the best Disney (and superhero) movies out there.

Pixar's standard-bearer of excellence, The Incredibles has aged well in the years since its release, and that should come as no surprise. Featuring a clever, all-ages sense of humor, a masterfully paced story, wonderfully rounded characters and genuinely perfect voice acting, the filmmakers have left little cause for concern. Speckled with nods, winks and nudges for the dedicated comic book fans bound to be in the audience, the plot also remains easily-accessible for non-geeks. On top of that, its excellent sense of timing and regular ability to one-up itself is more than enough to ensure that no eyeballs wander from the middle of the screen. A perfect family film, it's also something I have no shame about watching repeatedly by my lonesome.

The Incredibles is a solid entry in the Pixar animation lineup. It features an airtight plot that is largely invulnerable to scrutiny, good character development for the most part, an iconic soundtrack, and graphics that stand up even to this day. While it’s not perfect, the movie does utilize every good writing rule from setup and payoff, to even establishing rules and limitations to the super powers of characters, something of a rarity. In an age arguably saturated with superheroes, the Incredibles stands apart from many and I cannot recommend it enough.

When all superheroes are banned by the government, married superheroes Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are forced to live normal lives until events transpire that will force them back in to their spandex. Continuing Pixar’s golden period, The Incredibles is yet another incredibly entertaining animated movie full of great characters and brilliantly animated scenes.

“The Incredibles” is a clever play on the classic Super-Hero story that excels in appealling to the entire family. While the colorful animations and action-packed sequences will capture the eye of younger viewers, the multilayered storytelling and down-to-earth portrayal of the characters will easily welcome a mature audience as well. In a film that could have simply leaned toward established tropes or a base interpretation of the Hero’s Journey for it’s content, Pixar instead crafted a memorable and unique spin on the genre that still impresses to this day.

The Incredibles is, simply put, one of the best animated films ever made. The characters are richly developed, with each member of the Parr family having a distinct and relatable personality. The film's plot is both exciting and heartwarming, as the Parr family must navigate their secret superhero identities while also dealing with the challenges of family life. The action sequences in The Incredibles are absolutely jaw-dropping, with each fight and chase scene choreographed to perfection. The animation is top-notch, with stunning visuals and intricate details that bring the world of the film to life. But what truly sets The Incredibles apart is its ability to balance its action and comedy with genuine emotion. The film has a lot of heart, and it's impossible not to be moved by the struggles and triumphs of the Parr family. In conclusion, The Incredibles is a true masterpiece of animation that is not to be missed. With its stunning animation, thrilling action, and heartwarming family dynamics, The Incredibles is a film that will leave you cheering and wanting more. A perfect score of 10/10 is well-deserved for this incredible film.

Pixar has made an animated movie on all the different aspects that we see and admire in our life - there's Coco on culture, Soul on life and death, Finding Nemo on marine life, Ratatouille on food and Cars on, well, cars. But the one Pixar movie that completely stands out for me is the one made on the superheroes. I have watched The Incredibles about like, twenty times as far as I can remember (almost always in Hindi), I think I have lost count. And yet it interests me the same way as it did the first time. It's clearly because of all the hard work that went into making this movie. The first time I had heard about The Incredibles, it was when it had a Happy Meal toy ad. I used to hate Violet and like Dash because of how that ad used to show her as someone who bosses him around. The reason why it did so was because it reminded me so much of my family, minus Jack Jack. The father, the mother, the elder sister and the younger brother. The entire theme of this movie is that this is supposed to be a family of superheroes. They are also people just like us, living their life in peace and quiet. It is also visible since they easily blended in with the normal people the moment they got outlawed. This clearly showed that the way we always treat them to be either gods or demons, they are more than just that. Another great aspect about this movie is the animation. It is the reason why I liked to watch this movie over and over again. Now of course all American animated movies have great animations, but this is something completely different. It looks and feels more like a videogame. As a kid I used to often play with my Wii remote when Bob broke into Syndrome's lab, pretending it's a game and I'm controlling him. The textures, the way Omnibot moves around, the fight scenes, everything gives a very videogame-like feel to it, something similar to the PS4 Spider-Man or Batman Arkham. And finally what makes this movie so great is the story and the character development. What made the Parrs so likeable? Because each of those characters are lousy, incompetant and just overall bored of their lives in the beginning of the movie. They have everything they need to make their lives fun, but they have no right to use them. So finally when they slowly get to use those powers, they are getting more excited about it and quickly adapt to the situations. In the aftermath of their fight they have made their lives better because now they are a lot more positive about their future. The Incredibles, in my opinion, is a timeless classic. Everyone should definitely see this once in their life. It's one of the movies that absolutely defines what Disney-Pixar is. I'm really glad this movie got all the fame it deserved, and probably a lot more is to come in the future (games, cameos, spinoffs, even more sequels) since I just can't have enough of this.

With this work, Pixar made its name much more credible than before, and we are on the side of a work that was not created in superhero comic books, but this film is so determined that it even went beyond comic books! Because the creators acted so boldly that this film raises the expectations of the audience and changes their opinion about the superheroes ... that is, to be effective!

The Incredibles is yet another PIXAR classic. This is one of those movies that I could watch over and over and never get tired of. PIXAR has learned from each of their movies to keep improving upon them and it really shows with this one. The animation keeps improving, especially with human hair. They also proved themselves to be incredible with directing action as this is the first action movie this studio has released. All the action scenes are fantastic. What really makes this movie work is the characters. The heroes and villains are extremely fun to watch and both have twists on the "comic book movie" trope. In this day and age of so many comic book movies, The Incredibles actually ages very well. And I can't review this movie without mentioning the score. This is Michael Giacchino's first PIXAR score and he blew the other PIXAR scores out of the water. I do love Randy Newman as what I view him as the definitive PIXAR composer, but Giacchino's score here is one of the best. I consider this movie to be the last PIXAR classic and the last movie of its "Golden Age". The Incredibles is a must-see.

"The Incredibles" has been praised for years as one of Pixar's best movies, and it is not hard too see why. With a colorful and charming set of characters, it depicts a family that, on top of having to deal with normal problems, have powers in a world that has outlawed superheroes. As an action movie, it provides some solid entertainment for the whole family. However, I do have some problems with the way the plot develops. Although it starts out by playing with this idea of wanting to go back to being someone you used to be, the second and third don't really follow up this interesting premise. The script can come off as confusing sometimes, as, for example, when we're dealing with the antagonists' motivations. But overall, it's visually appealing and enjoyable, with some moments of wit. As far as a family-friendly action animation goes, The Incredibles doesn't disappoint.

Pixar is undoubtedly one of the great animation studios. I have no doubt that this film is one of the most remarkable in the life of the studio so far. However, it was not particularly noticeable in my eyes. The film is based on a very simple script around a family with superpowers, in which both parents were superheroes until it became prohibited, under national law, to be a superhero. Unjustly condemned to live a normal life, they feel bad for having to hide their powers from normal people. That, however, may change when Bob, "Mr. Incredible", receives an invitation to use his powers. The film is quite good, but it didn't surprise or delight me like other films did. The use of excellent CGI and visual effects and an excellently done cinematography are essential elements to make the film visually pleasant, not to say appealing, however, the film seemed too long for the story told, which, in turn, it seemed too basic and predictable, good for a younger audience, but decidedly uninteresting for adults. However, the film makes up for it with good moments of humor. The cast of voices has important and big names like Holly Hunter, Craig Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson and Jason Lee, and there is no doubt that they were all excellent and contributed a lot to make the film a true work of art. Technically, it is a Disney film, and that says everything: careful cinematography and an appealing look, excellent drawings and lines in a film that never goes in search of graphic realism. In addition to this, we have a good soundtrack, which does not bet on songs but in a certain epic and heroic sense that matches quite well with the theme of the entire film.

Absolutely fantastic. I just watched Aquaman and hated it, thought the CG was horrific, they should learn from pixar. Now this animation is Incredible!!!! Great story line, voice over and cast. Its my 2nd time watching it and i love it as the first time. The story is intriguing and doesn't leave sny hole. Must watch for any age groups. Well done Pixar.
