More along the 8.5 for me, Fans who hate this movie just don't fully understand it. The story of the trilogy was trying to share the more human side of Davy Jones with Calypso being revealed as his long-lost lover and that was nice to dive into. Soundtrack score and action sequences just like before we're still great. When watching all three movies in the trilogy back-to-back-to-back, you're able to see how the story flows together and I think that's a reason why people hate on the movie, they watched the movies spaced out.

A much over-hated movie with amazing visuals, plot is great, acting is great and there is no legitimate reason for this movie to be hated on as much as it has been. It's a classic that been a re-watch today I still love it.

Benicio del Toro absolutely steals the movie with Josh Brolin playing his character very well. I wish Emily Blunt's character had a little bit more development or interactions, she felt pushed aside but other than that, tone and plot were great.

With a re-watch, first 2/3rd of movie is a bit slow but still has a great story. All points end up making sense and hearing future references is fun. I believe over-hated.

Despite not being a big fan of Brie Larson, this movie has great visuals and a great story that left me feeling overall satisfied.

What started it all, great story, well acted villain, visually impressive. Couldn't really ask for a better introduction for a not-so-well known Marvel character.

Classic, Great score, Perfect villain for Cap and overall a great introduction for one of the Avengers. Returning to the film I believe allows those who found it not so great to really appreciate it.

Slow burn for the first 57 minutes, really picks up on the Wednesday title card scenes. More of a Psychological Horror with good Haunted Horror scenes. This movie does leave you with some questions unanswered but most are answered throughout the film. Wendy was easily my favorite character. Jack imo was never in a right state of mind and always felt like a man on a tightrope balancing between being sane and charming and also being insane and menacing. Questions I wished got answered before the film ended; 1) Who was Tony? Because I don't believe it was an imaginary friend. 2) What happened to Wendy and Danny after the movie ended? 3) How much of it was in Jack's head psychologically versus in real life with the spirits?

Perfect build up, establishing its characters, build up emotional connection to the core characters so that when their deaths happen, you actually feel something. Smoke and Annie easily were my favorites. Remmek was a great villain with an actually pulling message. Not just trying to kill people for the hell of it, but actually giving them some truth as to why they should all join him. If a sequel does happen, I hope it picks up right where they left off in the 90s to the 2000s. But if its a prequel that comes next, I hope it shows more of Remmek's story and beginning.

Had no idea how McDonalds was founded and created and this movie really hits towards the end when it's at it's peak. Ray truly was an evil person and they try to show the good he did partake in but it doesn't take from the fact that he robbed two honest brothers in the end.

A well-written, acted and emotional movie with beautiful scenes and great comic accurate costumes marvel needed to deliver after one comedic and lack-luster movie or show after another comedic and lack-luster movie or show after the next. If Marvel continues a stretch of well-written, visually impressive projects one after the other, Marvel is gonna feel like it did back during the Infinity Era.

A near perfect movie. Had a slow build but when all the dots started to connect and all the puzzle pieces fell together, I understood why this movie is on people's Top 10 of all time.

Great watch and the suspense was actually pretty good. Good late night watch.

Good watch, had some good songs in the soundtrack and the wife went from being uninterested from the start and walking out happy and engaged by the end. Only gripe I'd hold against it was the CGI for the Twisters/Tornados during the movie was either hit or miss and maybe it was on AMC, but the audio could of been more louder during those scenes.

The wife really wanted to see this movie and at first I thought it was going to be another chick-flick I would have to sit through, but in all seriousness this was a great film and actually brought out some emotions. Great writing, great lines, I recommend this one.

Aside from the obvious boost the cameos gave this film, the film as a whole was a great step in the right direction for the Deadpool series and Marvel as a whole. We need more serious moods and moments in Marvel films and I hope after this movie, we will at least see more of it.

My fiancé and I watched it for the first time on Hulu and I instantly felt the regret on not watching it in IMAX. Great film and we are both excited to watch Part 2 while its still in theatres!

This movie was definitely a slow burn in the beginning but as it went on and the pieces were put together, it became enjoyable. Some typical horror movie decisions were made that made you scratch your head but that’s with any horror movie to be honest. Great visuals and solid gore.

One of those few actually good DC movies that happen to come after a string of bad ones. Comedy was great, action was good, plot was followable and the acting of emotions was executed greatly.

Much better than I thought it was going to be. Visuals and suspense were very good and the performance delivered by Corey Hawkins and David Dastmalchian are spectacular.

I loved how they incorporated aspects from the original film into this one. Green screen visuals were a bit obvious at times but it had great character and LaKeith was an absolute standout!

Better than what I thought it was going to be. Gosling carries the movie imo. But a feel good message at the end had me actually feeling some emotion as well.

Cinematic masterpiece from start to finish. IMAX was truly the only way to watch this and not once did I feel regret. Disturbing for sure, but definitely held back on the true horror of what history suffered through. Nolan is truly a master at his craft!

Despite feeling like they could of shaved 30 minutes, this film is just like all the Mission Impossible's that have come before it; action-packed with an iconic incredible score, emotional scenes with a balance of intelligent spy work.

Walked out after an hour, couldn't get a ounce of interest going for this film.

Aside from the horrendous "director's choice" CGI, under-developed side characters & lack-luster ending and post-credit scene, The Flash wasn't as bad as I was anticipating but the film felt like DC said "who cares, its our last DCEU film" and "lets put the least amount of important writing with just barely passible CGI and semi-hype it up like its actually quality". If this is was Gunn's DC is set to be like, or be somewhat close to, DC is doomed.

This film from start to finish keeps you hooked to the plot with amazing visuals and captivating storytelling. Cameos for days and I can't wait for Beyond the Spider-Verse!

An emotional rollercoaster that left me with a happy ending to this amazing trilogy. James Gunn really did tie all the loose ends and elements of the first two films into this climactic finish. I went from not caring too much for Rocket to sitting in a theatre seat teary eyed watching his flashbacks. The humor was great, action was great, visually stunning, it was truly a great MCU film. My only negatives against the film were the 1) script for Adam Warlock (felt like he could of had some more development) but that's me stretching for something to pull. 2) The end credit scenes not really giving us to much to work with in the MCU's future (again stretching to pull something) Lastly, High Evolutionary has entered the MCU's top echelon of true villians.

After watching it twice, I can simply say this is a great family movie with many references to OG Nintendo fans & both humor filled & action packed scenes that leave you enjoying the movie from start to finish.

Where it started it all. The debut of one of Johnny Depp's iconic and legendary characters, this is always a fun and classic watch. Great storytelling with hints of foreshadowing, great memorable lines, decent CGI for the time it came out, all-in-all a great movie!

One of the few movies that left me debating on whether to like or dislike it. I was left with the exact same thought process on the visual effects, not knowing if they were good or pretty bad. With the cast of pretty talented actors, at times the script just felt very flat. At times it seem like the mutants didn’t necessarily know how to use the powers and then all of a sudden just proficient with them. The beginning and end of the film, in my opinion, were the worst parts of it. It’s kind of a tossup for me.

Better than I anticipated. Had a good tie-in twist and the kills were pretty brutal. Definitely interested in a seventh if they make it.

What more can you say about an all time classic slasher. Great twist, iconic acting, great gore and kills.

My first knives out movie, really enjoyed it from start to finish and thought the acting was very very good. Some of the accents that the actors perform is really convincing.

Visually great, Action is epic, soundtrack is pretty good, plot is pretty good aside from Sabaac not really being as powerful as I thought. Justice Society was pretty likeable aside from Atom Smasher being a little too jokeative. The main kid was pretty annoying throughout the movie and the end credit scene was anticipated but great.

Great makeup design and decent kills. Main character was irritating in the fact everything she did was costing others their lives, which I get it that was the point at the end of the movie. Overall a good movie night.

A perfect romance movie with a beautiful twist at the end. Its got all the feels for a perfect date night.

No suspense, confusing plot, weirdly a romance thriller at best. Some good kills and makeup but this was a let down.

Phenomenal acting with an incredible message. This movie is a much recommend on my list.

Incredibly funny. Mark & Wills chemistry in this movie works too well as well as The Rock’s & Samual L Jackson’s. A whole lot of memorable lines.

A good romcom watch with a easy to follow plot. +1 point for an annoying dad.

A beautifully shot film with great combat, dialogue, emotions & a stunning score. Didn’t need to be over the top, cheesy or overly Sci-Fi to tell a great story. Really hope a sequel is in the works and future films are done by Hulu going forward!

Although it’s shot great and has amazing actors in it, I couldn’t finish this one. Idk if this “artsy horror” just isn’t for me or something else but I could only make it halfway.

The only scene to get a genuine reaction out of me was the car scene with the librarian. Rest of this movie was incredibly boring and uninteresting. The horrible CGI for the dog was laughable and the deign for the Bye Bye Man was creepy at best.

Creepier than the first but the only thing that didn’t quiet make sense was the time events happening at the same time.
