A good zombie flick with lots of good acting: Gong Yoo acts well as a distracted father and self-serving financial type, and Kim Su-an acted very well for a five year old. It's a bit silly, and a bit sad, but a good movie.

Incredibly funny and very silly. "You missed a spot...." .

Sharlto Copley's acting is fantastic. The plot is a clever and uncomfortable satire on African apartheid, and it's spruced up with cool alien weapons and action scenes.

I loved Jeremy Irons' acting as a vicious boss. Paul Bettany (the cynic), Penn Badgely (the unfocused), Stanley Tucci (the fired), and Demi Moore (the sacrifice) also act well. Kevin Spacey's acting falls short and the film loses steam at the end. It's worth watching just to see Irons' monologue ("do you know why I get the big bucks?").

Shoutout to Dave Bautista for his acting as a replicant. Gosling does an OK job but Harrison Ford is barely trying. The world building is especially cool.

An engrossing story, well acted, and quite sad. Poor Turing .

Robert Downey Jr. acts the arrogant genius well. It's a classic super hero movie.

Silly, funny, and a tribute to British subcultures. The plot is quite confusing but comes together at the end, well.

Well written and full of heart. "Brooks was here... so was Red" .

An epic of a film. Quite sad at points but well acted and has a good story. Very pretty - definitely a good big screen film.

Engrossing and well acted .

Great story, well acted (maybe not Schwarzenegger so much...), cool action scenes, and a great soundtrack.

Incredibly silly but very funny. Luke Wilson does a great job acting confused, disgusted, and full of disbelief.

Well acted with an interesting story. Somewhat slow paced .

Beautiful animation and a touching story .

A great underdog story with a classic soundtrack. I really enjoyed it .

A clever story with interesting aliens. I found the main character's geniusness a bit obnoxious towards the end, but I still recommend it.

Excellently acted but quite stressful. A good movie that I'll probably never watch again. The music was very addicting. Now, I want to learn the drums!

Well written, mesmerising visuals, and a great soundtrack. I found it a bit dark, which is a shame as the subject matter (building worlds in dreams) is fascinating.

It's a fantastic story and a good period piece. There's a few anachronistic moments that made me laugh ("you need to get out, more").

The set design, costumes, and characters all transported me to ancient Rome. The story and dialogue may be a bit cheesy, but I really enjoyed Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix's acting.

Excellently acted with a feel-good story. A good non-offensive film for the family.

Javier Bardem's villain is incredibly menacing. The film is a faithful, almost like-for-like replication of the book.

One of the best sci-fi stories I've seen. The plot is very clever and both Tom Cruise (shame about the Scientology...) and Emily Blunt knock it out of the park. The aliens' design and lore is also really cool.

I saw this as a kid, so I loved the silly humour. The soundtrack is great. Adults may find it a bit too silly, but it's a good watch if you want something simple and funny.

Incrediby cheesy and great fun. Full of quotable dialogue, funny moments, and romance galore.

It's a somewhat sad, slow paced film with beautiful shots of the wilderness and a pretty soundtrack. Its depiction of men who have escaped from society and the consequences they face, is well done.

This has one of my favourite opening scenes. It's a good story. Matt Damon acts confused and determined, well. The soundtrack is fantastic.

Great characters (particularly Doc Holiday and Johnny Ringo), tonnes of quotable dialogue, and righteous fury. The love subplot wasn't great. Definitely worth a watch.

Apart from some cringe-inducing product placement, this is a fantastic story with great dialogue and action scenes. Sonny, Spooner, and the old scientist are all well-acted, and the music is ominous.

It's an excellent kids movie: it's funny, cool, and has an undercurrent of interesting themes to keep adults interested. The soundtrack is a classic.

If you look past the super heroes, this is also an excellent crime film. The opening bank robbery scene is engrossing and Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker rivals Hannibal Lector. His musical cue is an unnerving harbinger, and I never knew what to expect next.

Excellent story, acting, and characters. The dynamic of teaching the Terminator how humans feel is enjoyable without being over-the-top or corny. The human characters are smart and competent. Finally, the music and special effects hold up after all these years. If you like sci-fi, I recommend this.

It's got some terrifying scenes, lots of action, and a few funny family moments. It's trite and pulpy, but I enjoyed it.

The qualudes scene is very funny, but overall the actors try way too hard to be funny, and the movie lionises an awful person.

I really didn't understand the hype this movie received. It's over-acted, weirdly paced, and the script somehow makes Oppenheimer a tragic figure.

An uninspired copy of the first film. The story is like-for-like the same. The water visuals are great, but at the end of the day, it's just water. At 3 hours long, this movie really overstays its welcome.

Has some excellent fight scenes, including in a library and a weapon museum. The plot and dialogue are very bare bones, as expected.

Clearly a game-changer when it was first released. I found it a bit old. But I enjoyed the worldbuilding, thoroughly.

Very heavy hitting and uncomfortable to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if spycraft is really like this. Has some satisfying moments in it. Worth a watch, but I'd fast-forward through the sexual assault.

At least half of the stories in this film are quite gross, creepy, or not romantic. Colin's Firth story is very cute. Bill Nighy and Rowan Atkinson save the day with their acting. "Just in cases".

The animation and visual aesthetic of this movie is fantastic, although I found the stop-motion effect jarring (and I hope it doesn't become too popular). The story and characters are OK - it's spiderman.

This film has some twists that took me completely by surprise. Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman do a great job displaying their characters' animosity for each other.

Knives Out shows audiences a great whodunnit. The characters are very cliche, but the humour is good and the story unfolds, well.

I enjoyed Gran Torino when I saw it, years ago. But it's confronting. Clint Eastwood's character is super racist and the gangs do awful things. Overall, I liked it - but I don't think it's for everyone. Shoutout to Ahney Her for her acting.

The whole concept is so "out there". The worldbuilding is great. Wall-E is loveable. It's a good family flick.

It has a great story and great acting. The tone is (understandably) miserable. What's even more miserable, is knowing that some "bros" who watch this, completely miss its message and consider it their hustle-bible.

It's a weird movie. The writers are clearly trying to say something about gender equality and the rich, but it feels a bit inauthentic and preachy. It does have a few funny moments and it kept me interested until the end.

It has a great opening "heist" scene to challenge The Dark Knight, physio that would make even a chiropractor wince, a phoned-in soundtrack, and a stupid ending.

Great action scenes and lighting, let down by how over-the-top it is, and Quentin's gross foot fetish.
