There are some good performances here, but there really is nothing here to make it stand out from a story told many times before.

The first half of this beautifully shot, creepy horror builds the suspense well in anticipation for what's to follow, it's a shame the second half of this movie is a pretentious, boring mess that is beyond absurd.
