Loved it! Campy, cheesy, heart-warming and absolutely kick-ass! I can't say more. If you loved the first one, you'll love this one!

I'm the rare person in the world to actually think the sequel is better than the first. The genre change did the movie some good to be honest.

İlk filme göre kesinlikle daha iyi ama serinin yapısını değiştirmek pek alışa geldik bir şey değil ki bunu sevdim. Tavsiye ederim, güzeldi.

I enjoyed this way more than I expected. The first movie was OK. This movie is much, much better. Different type of movie though. The first was a scifi thriller. This one is a scifi action. It touches on some interesting concepts around AI but you can ignore all that and just enjoy it for what it is. A fun action movie.

Just as bad as everyone made it out to be. The comedic bits are insufferably long, and the characters are painfully unlikable.

This movie is NOT like the first movie in the way that Aliens was NOT like Alien. Megan has evolved a little bit and may no longer be the antagonist. Its more scifi/adventure/thriller than scifi/horror. If your in the mood for that, you'll enjoy it. If your expecting a rehash of Megan 1 you probably won't.

From a low-budget, tightly contained AI thriller horror to a sequel bloated into an absurd world-saving action film, M3GAN 2.0’s narrative collapse is yet another blunt example of Hollywood’s profit-driven mentality erasing the essence of a sequel.

Just not much here, the switch to an action movie was bad and took the juice out of the universe. All time bad an ineffective bad guy performance.

A high-concept film, but with high expectations as well. It’s a very pyromaniac film, exaggerated in every sense. Now and then, there’s good drama, but in the end, it doesn’t really surprise. By far, the first one is better.

The new M3GAN installment arrives with the intention of reinventing the franchise, shifting its focus toward a rebellious supersoldier that brings a fresh twist to the original premise. The downside is that, in doing so, the film sacrifices much of the horror that made the first one so enjoyable, leaning more into action-thriller territory with splashes of comedy. There’s no denying the movie is entertaining, but it’s also uneven. Some scenes work great, especially when M3GAN takes the spotlight with her signature mix of irony, sass, and violence that made her an instant icon. Yet other moments drag, stretching situations that don’t add much. What stands out is that, even while being louder and more outrageous, it feels more calculated. The surprising freshness of the original fades, replaced by a script that juggles too many ideas without fully developing them. The result is a fun cocktail, but one that’s less memorable than it could have been.Still, M3GAN keeps her charm. The doll remains funny, unsettling, and magnetic whenever she’s on screen. And while this sequel isn’t as sharp as the first, it delivers what it promises: light entertainment built on technological excess and dark humor.

This was an unexpected movie that somehow uses its comedic and horror flaws to its advantage...I can't believe I'm saying this but I enjoyed this, not because it is a good movie or that the comedy from Megan is kinda funny, but because the film itself overall is fun to watch. This is definitely not a horror film but it has some well placed horror elements wrapped in comedic situations. I would actually recommend the first and second movie to watch and just have fun with your girlfriend...I dont have one of those but I still enjoyed the film anyway. However MEGAN 2.0 does suffer from a little plot twist syndrome, and the generic "the world is as stake" formula with the hero always winning. Besides all that its a good watch, because of how well it plays with its humor and Horror elements, maybe less horror but its definitely something different. Not to mention how well the pacing and time used for this movie is, its impeccable well done.
I felt like I wanted 4 hours more of the film just to build Megan's Character even more. The music, is cinematic... good with some singing...awkward singing, don't worry its explained. This is probably one of the hardest things to do trying to combine comedy with horror.
So overall I believe that MEGAN 2.0 is a 7/10. And that folks is all I can say.
End transmission.

I enjoyed this film more than the horror first one. It's nice going from horror protect the girl - to - action hero protect the girl. Thought the A.I. exploration went very well and nicely written. LOVED the Moxie scenes. Looking forward to a third movie. I think what I don't like about the film was the cringe singing scene. We could of had better dancing. And I absolutely hate when the robots go into a bear crawl chase.

If M3GAN was a sharp-witted horror-comedy with a killer doll twist, M3GAN 2.0 turns the dial all the way up—and I loved every second of it. It’s wild, chaotic, and fully aware of its own ridiculous brilliance. From high-tech espionage to sassy one-liners, this sequel trades subtle horror for full-throttle AI anarchy, and somehow… it works.Allison Williams returns with steelier resolve, and Jenna Davis’s voice performance as M3GAN is sharper, funnier, and more unhinged than ever. The action sequences are absurdly fun, and the film leans into satire without losing its emotional core. It’s campy, clever, and just self-aware enough to keep you grinning through every explosive ****, it’s not “scary” in the traditional sense—but it doesn’t want to be. M3GAN 2.0 embraces its identity as a tech-slasher-meets-action-spy romp and delivers a spectacle that’s both hilarious and weirdly poignant in today’s AI-obsessed world. And that ending? Let’s just say… M3GAN 3.0 better be in the works, because I’m already lining up. If this franchise keeps evolving like its titular star, we’re in for a truly iconic trilogy.

A perfect sequel and the best possible direction for the story, especially with such a drastic genre shift. Pure action, camp, flawless sense of style, and just the right amount of satire aimed at modern AI-driven tech. And yes, this is really the Gen-Z's Terminator..

A pretty solid sequel, but not quite as good as the first. It was definitely still a re-watch, and I'm looking forward to the third installment.

M3gan 2.0 is a passable action flick. The story is generic but has an interesting twist. That said, it's a bit woke with stupid men all around. The acting is good. I like the dialogues of M3gan vs her creator. In fact one of the best thing. The actions has some cringy obvious CGI in it, but that said there are some good moments in it. I like some camera stuff at times, some particular fights. The music was forgettable. I give it 65%. The kind of movie that you watch once and forget.

It has cool scenes and callbacks to other sci-fi films but tonally, it's all over the place and incoherent....

How did we get here? We had a fun and original horror movie, and by the second installment it’s turned into action and comedy. That’s the fastest way to kill a franchise just to make it ‘more accessible to a wider audience.’ A huge disappointment. All the gore happens off-screen, or in shadow play (like the decapitation in the opening scene). All the appeal is gone, even though there was so much potential to make something epic.

The first M3gan was a surprise hit that this sequel was quickly greenlighted. The big problem? The film makers decided to switch genre and while what we have was quite good, the audiences did not want a sci fi action flick. It was not a dissappointment for me, but it is clearly not as good as the original.

Well, folks, they've done it again. M3GAN 2.0 isn't just a sequel; it's a defiant strut into a whole new level of brilliance, proving that our favorite dancing, deadly AI is far from a one-hit wonder. If you thought the original was a blast, prepare yourselves, because this installment amps up everything we loved and then some, solidifying its place as a standout film of the year.
This time around, the stakes are higher, the laughs are sharper, and M3GAN herself is more menacingly magnificent than ever. The creative team has masterfully evolved the narrative, leaning into a thrilling sci-fi action direction that feels both fresh and incredibly exciting. It's less jump scares and more jaw-dropping sequences of M3GAN (and her new, formidable foe) demonstrating just how terrifyingly capable advanced AI can be when it goes rogue. The visual effects are seamless, making every robotic movement, every calculated stride, unsettlingly real.
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw return with powerful performances, grounding the increasingly outlandish plot with genuine emotion. Their evolving dynamic provides a compelling human core to the digital chaos. But let's be real, the true star is, once again, M3GAN. Amie Donald's physical performance, coupled with Jenna Davis's chillingly perfect voice work, brings an upgraded M3GAN to life with an even more pronounced personality – she's wittier, more cunning, and undeniably iconic. Her interactions, particularly with the new AI threat, are pure cinematic gold, leading to some of the most memorable moments in the film.
M3GAN 2.0 doesn't just entertain; it electrifies. It’s a roller coaster of darkly comedic thrills, unexpected twists, and perfectly choreographed action sequences that will have you on the edge of your seat. This movie is a bold, confident step forward for the franchise, showcasing incredible creativity and a keen understanding of what made audiences fall in love with M3GAN in the first place.

M3GAN 2.0 is back, and she’s deadlier, sassier, and has better WiFi than you. It’s like Terminator 2 got a makeover at Sephora and joined a dance crew. Want to know why this unhinged robo-queen might be cinema’s new GOAT? Read the full review on Couch Soup dot com.

With ’M3GAN 2.0’, it’s clear Blumhouse thought they were really going to turn M3GAN into this mega franchise by heading away from horror and more into the sci-fi action, but it fails in almost every way by doing so. It’s not that interesting; we have no character growth, the action is sparse, and everything just feels slapped together. There are some entertaining moments, but the rest of the movie just feels pretty bland. By the end, ‘M3GAN 2.0’ left us scratching our heads on what exactly it wanted to do. There weren’t that many funny moments, it dropped all horror, and the story was mediocre at best. What could have been a big follow up from the first horror-comedy hit, turns out to be a bit of a disaster. Brad: 5

M3GAN 2.0 is absolutely incredible, clearly inspired by T2, and is such a fun ride—definitely 10 out of 10.

I saw this with low expectations and was honestly very surprised by how fun it was. M3GAN is still very snarky in this one and often could have been even more aggressive, but overall, she was the standout. The lead acting was okay with the humans, but Amelia’s character was phenomenal. I loved having that be a part of this film and now franchise. If you have two hours to spend and want to laugh, watch this movie.

This sequel takes place 2 years later, when a similar AI invention appears as a deadly military weapon. It’s up to the original genius (Allison Williams) to bring back her titular invention and protect the world from ultimate AI takeover. Of course, this film has joined the chorus of filmmakers imagining how AI will doom our world. In this case, these discussions are punctuated by spurts of violence. The fights are fast and unusual (that robot has some unique moves). The doll’s wise cracks adds levity. The first film was somewhat original and mildly entertaining (my review) and this sequel just does what they do…continue the story without much new. Writer/director Gerard Johnstone is back and he’s created another mildly entertaining sequel that will appeal especially to lovers of the first one, who just want to see her back in action.

I disagree with the critics, seeing the trailer I could tell this wouldn’t be a horror movie but more like a campy action packed film, and it didn’t disappoint, it made me laugh with Megan’s sarcasm and sense of humor, but also I was on the edge of my seat with all the robot fights and action scenes. I would definitely recommend it, I think they took a risk with the switch up but it worked on their favor for sure!

Unlike the first film, M3GAN 2.0 moves away from the horror genre and shifts into a sci-fi action movie with elements of a thriller. Yes, it's a completely different film — with more energy, large-scale scenes, and technological themes, but less suspense and the eerie atmosphere that made the original so beloved. However, it's worth noting that despite its modest budget (around $25 million), the movie looks impressively polished and visually engaging. Great direction, quality special effects, vivid sequences, and an interesting story progression make it exciting and very watchable. While it differs in tone from the original, as a standalone sequel it holds up well — especially if viewed as an expansion of the M3GAN universe, rather than an attempt to replicate the success of the first film.

For the first time of my life, I left the theater before the end of a movie. I felt asleep. I liked the first movie, but this one was just an action movie. I wanted to see Ballerina, but I made a mistake and it wasn't available at my theater anymore. I bet Ballerina would have been better as an action movie. I swear, I managed to correctly guess some twists while I was falling asleep!

Look, it's nothing especially memorable, but it definitely has it's moments of comedy, as well as a few pertinent statements surrounding the world of AI that we find ourselves thrust into right now. It was watchable

This movie was so bad. First, it’s not a horror movie. It’s a wanna be Terminator 2 where the bad android becomes the ****’s a sub par sci-fi action movie where M3GAN is the good guy and not the psychotic killer doll from the first movie. And Candy, the young niece who lost her parents in the first movie somehow has become a genius robotics developer while still in middle school? Come on. What a complete cluster. During my screening people were actually leaving in the middle of the film.
I don’t know what’s going on with Blumhouse this year, but aside from Drop, they have really made some bad, unoriginal films.

Look how they massacred my girl. "M3GAN 2.0" leaves horror behind and goes straight into action, resulting in a generic, unnecessarily complicated film that lacks the quirkiness of the original. With a silly discourse about reconciliation between humans and machines, the film takes itself too seriously, recapturing the absurdity of the previous one in only a couple of scenes. Long and boring.

If you’re a fan of the first movie, you’ll love this sequel! Personal growth, indeed! If you didn’t watch the first one, you’ll still get this movie, but it might not emotionally resonate with you.

If you're going to do a sequel, go all out, and this did! It's incredibly quirky, but it's good to see returning characters, including M3GAN obviously. It seems totally superficial on the surface, but there's some deep themes here. It utilizes a lot of lessons from SyFy with similar premises, but gives it levity. Think of this as a the Mega Man X to the original Mega Man.

"M3GAN 2.0" creates a predictable continuation that attempts to make for some entertaining moments but still can't shake it trying to have it both ways be a serious action thriller while being funny but this one takes to another level of lunacy that's now cringe-worthy to watch.
