Amidst ruined cities, desperate survivors, and pervasive hopelessness, her revealing outfits and demeanor feel out of place, even surreal. It's as if Eve stepped out of an adult visual novel rather than this world, which severely hinders immersion and the ability to take the narrative seriously. This isn't merely a matter of stylistic choice; it's a fundamental dissonance that undermines the game's attempts to create a serious and well-developed **** begs the question: if Eve were, say, a character like Nor from Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Would the game still be praised as much for its "superb combat"? I don't think so, probably not; the overall impression would be different. Stellar Blade, unfortunately, feels more like a visual fantasy catering to a specific niche of players than a cohesive and serious action game.Overall, the game itself isn't bad. The combat system is engaging, and the world, despite the aforementioned dissonance, can sometimes surprise with its beauty and detail. However, with a different approach to character design, Stellar Blade could have been perceived on an entirely different level, becoming not just a "visual fantasy for teenagers" but a genuinely serious and deep action experience. Without that, its potential remains largely unfulfilled.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered offers fans a chance to revisit beloved Cyrodiil with enhanced graphics and more detailed locations, delivering a nostalgic treat. However, outdated animations, a simplistic combat system, and the steep system requirements of Unreal Engine 5 make it less appealing to newcomers. Modern character faces and more dynamic combat, even at a mid-tier level, could have made the remaster feel fresher. It’s a solid effort to refresh a classic, but its potential remains underutilized.
