Equal parts ridiculous and entertaining, this tense unlikely thriller makes the best it can from it's sizeable cast and budget. Like any good thriller worth it's salt it's a real rollercoaster of highs and lows as the protagonist struggles her way through the various obstacles. Some great performances and a decent screenplay kept things interesting. Worth a watch for thriller genre fans.

I don’t really understand the hate. It may not hold a candle to some of the greater thrillers of its time, but I can’t lie and say that I didn’t like this movie. This movie has an excellent cast of characters, Jodie Foster in particular gives a great performance. The movie got exciting no doubt, just wish they did more with the reality vs going insane aspect of Fosters character. Some parts of the movie have not aged well, and the ending definitely didn’t match the quality of the rest of the film. Still, I would never call it a bad movie by any means, and I’d say it’s even worth a watch.

Benim için vakit kaybı bir yapımdı. Daha kaliteli yapımlara yönelmenizi tavsiye ederim.

Flightplan is a well-executed film based on a simple yet central concept, delivering occasional eyebrow-raising twists that enhance its overall appeal.

Flightplan is a solid suspense-thriller than falters very infrequently with a mostly tight script, good acting, engaging character development, and a very interesting setting for it all to develop in. The sound design is very intense to help put the viewer on edge and the soundtrack helps to set the mood, even if you likely won’t be remembering any particular song from it several minutes after you finish. The camera work is appropriately claustrophobic for the setting and scenes transition often times with the plane’s layout serving as an intelligent breaking point. The rewatch value is a bit of an oddity because it is worth more than one watch in a row to pick up the missed clues, but probably won’t overall be a frequent grab as many of the tricks it uses are one and done. Still, this movie is tense and well thought-out barring one major plot hole. I give it a wholehearted recommendation.

Flightplan is a good chamber thriller. Great cast and well-delivered suspense. And although by the middle of the film you understand the main twist of the plot, he does not suffer from this. Does the impression spoil a too unrealistic happy ending

For a movie that is supposed to be a thriller it is certainly void of any real tension. Inplausiable, and rather inane this movie is a massive disappointment considering who was involved in it.

While the first hour of the movie was actually really interesting and very well done, the last half hour turns into a completely cliché, over the top and predictable action film. The acting was generally good, the first hour did a good job at building tension and the movie was rather entertaining. If you're into mystery movies or you're a fan of Jodie Foster, you might like it. Otherwise, you should probably watch something else.

Flightplan is the kind of bad movie that does not even bother to kill Sean Bean. Is that a spoiler of some sorts now? Well, anyways, he does not die and that is always indicative of a bad movie. Flightplan has an interesting premise with a good lead turn from Jodie Foster, but really just falls apart as the film progresses. As a short film, it could have been okay. By that, I mean if it ended after 40 minutes we would have been just fine here. Unfortunately, the film decides to show its hand too early and the ending is ludicrous and out of this world stupid. As the film progresses into the absurd, the tension vanishes and the film sputters into disappointment. This very interesting premise really falls apart and would have been well served not being limited by being on a plane. The only redeeming factors are the tension and mystery that abound in the first third of the film, as well as the acting from Jodie Foster and Sean Bean. Otherwise, Flightplan needed to crash and put everyone out of their misery.

Flightplan was a shocking and dramatic film , where a mother searching for her missing daughter on a plane flying , and most have not been able to find , because the plot was a bit crazy , and with a performance , semi - exaggerated Jodie Foster, but it was a rather impressively movie .

The plots kicks in and works the actors are on key and believe able. Jodie Foster is trying and her heroism is on edge and gives a captivating performance. The script has a few issues some characters are off, I did not believe that Peter Sarsgaard was an air marshal; also Kate Beahan as the villian's side kick was terrible and the people on the plane were rude. The way director Robert Schwentke behind the camera is like Alfred Hitchcock, the cinematography by Florian Ballhaus is impressive and unique. Grade A-

Foster puts on a good show here, but Flightplan never really elevates beyond mediocre. Part of this is due to the fact that its plot is implausible to the extent where we don't trust anything in the movie anymore.

"Flightplan" has a tense and intriguing start and slowly dissolves into a bunch of clichés and loses its effective, suspenseful atmosphere. The acting is excellent, though, and both the directing and the screenplay are an accomplishment. It's just the ending that really bothered me.

For its first hour or so Flightplan makes for a suspenseful thriller with the always reliable Jodie Foster as good as ever in the lead role. It is let down slightly by its typical, and rather predictable, 'Hollywood' ending but makes a decent watch anyway.

There are some questions to be answered in order to make this movie make complete sense, but I found it incredibly interesting to watch. Gripping and suspenseful. Even in doubt, you are on Foster's side. Finally a thriller mystery that doesn't end with the person being crazy!!!

In Flightplan we actually begin to believe we may be participating in a schizophrenic break from reality. Sadly, we are rapidly brought back into the reality of a predictable plot and "Hollywoodesque" ending. Although Jodie Foster does a really good job.

The terrorist plan is so far-fetched and unbelievably ridiculous, it has to be a miracle that it worked. Not to mention, the first part of the movie is really boring.
