"Crawl" is a surprisingly good movie. Supported by impressive CGI effects, a decent cast, well made action sequences and a satisfying ending, you can easily forgive it's many flaws. If you're in the mood for an intense and entertaining horror movie, you could do a lot worse.

Wholesome and inspiring in it's own messed up way, Sono's "Why Don't You Play in Hell" manages to perfectly balance comedy, drama and over the top violence in the best way possible. If you're a Sion Sono fan or just curious, you should definitely give it a chance.

While there's nothing spectacular about the movie, the acting is terribly average, the story is cliché and predictable, the CGI is fine but not exceptional and the action sequences weren't made particularly well. It's still very watchable and entertaining. If you're looking for a fun, mindless action flick, you might appreciate it.

With very likeable characters, an interesting and original script that manages to be constantly unpredictable, a great soundtrack, more than decent acting performances and a satisfying finale, "One Cut of the Dead" is a great movie that deserves to be seen.

While the acting isn't always particularly good ad the story is cliché and even predictable at times, the action sequences were well made, the characters were interesting enough and the movie was fun enough to keep you entertained all the way through. "The Old Guard" isn't a great movie by any means, but if you're looking for a fun, entertaining action movie, you won't be disappointed.

While it's far from being Miike's best film, it's still a very entertaining film with a lot of well choreographed fight sequences, an interesting story, a good soundtrack and decent acting performances. It's worth the watch just for the insane last half hour alone.

It's silly, cliché and predictable. The acting is mediocre and the dialogue is laughable, but it's also a lot of fun. With more than decent action sequences, a good soundtrack, surprisingly pleasing cinematography and just enough cheesy one liners, this is a quite charming b-movie that's never boring and should satisfy most people looking for a fun, mindless action flick.

While it's by no means a great movie, Underwater still manages to be a very entertaining and fun sci-fi/horror movie. Supported by more than decent acting performances, an eerie soundtrack and good enough CGI, you can forgive it's clichés and the lack of character development. If you're in the mood for a fun, brainless creature feature, you won't be disappointed.

Despite the original and interesting story and the great score, nothing could really save this movie from being a bit ridiculous and even boring at times. With average at best acting performances and an insanely over the top third act, "The Ninth Gate" might be appealing to some if they are fans of Johnny Depp or Roman Polanski, but for he majority of people, it will probably be a disappointment.

But with surprisingly good practical effects, decent CGI and an entertaining last half hour, you can kind of forgive how disappointingly average the acting performances are and how serious this movie takes itself. If you like b-grade science fiction and horror movies, you will probably find something to enjoy in this one.

While the acting is wooden, the dialogue is as cheesy as it comes, the CGI is quite bad and the movie is predictable, it's still a very enjoyable action/sci-fi movie. With good action sequences and surprisingly decent creature designs, "Priest" might not be a good movie, but it's definitely worth a watch if you like cheesy sci-fi movies.

But, it's also very entertaining, quite enjoyable and it's an easy watch. If you're looking for a ridiculous, mindless, so bad it's good fantasy movie, you might actually end up liking it.

Once again Miike does not disappoint with this adaptation of the popular manga series. Supported by good acting performances, great cinematography, very well made fight sequences and a decent soundtrack, "Blade of the Immortal" is never boring and manages to make you care for the characters. If you're a fan of Miike or the original manga series, you will not be disappointed.

While the fight sequences were very well made and the movie was violent enough, the rest is very average. The acting is fine, the story is cliché and predictable and the movie drags a lot. If you're a casual action movie fan, you will probably like this one, but if you're a martial arts movie fan, you should probably go with something else as this one doesn't really offer anything worthwhile.

While the movie definitely looked great and Patrick Wilson was very entertaining to watch, there's really not much else to it. Most of the acting performances range from average to mediocre, the characters are all cliché and the ending is quite disappointing. If you're in the mood for something mildly entertaining and don't mind the over the top performance from the main vilain, give it a shot. If not, you're better off watching something else.

While the CGI sharks look pretty good and the acting performances are decent, the rest is very average. From the predictability of the plot to the stupid character decisions and the unbelievability of the sharks' behavior, it's a mixed bag. While it is an entertaining movie, don't expect too much out of it.
