Traditionally, films that are this delightfully raucous, bloody (and I mean BLOODY), and silly are relegated to B-movie schlock (not a bad thing, for the record), but "Abigail" still embraces the excessive and ornate gothic aesthetics of classic horror movies. The result is an old-school vampire movie with modern frisk and flair and an absolute blast of a movie to watch with a crowd.

It knows its audience and doesn’t waste time. It also heightens the fun with elaborate practical effects, rather than blitzing us with eye-tiring CGI any more than it must.

Happy 1 year anniversary Abigail movie review one of my favorite movies it’s funny fun bloody glory fun kill and actions and fight scenes very smart clever characters and script the acting for everyone is great but standout ones for me is Peter sammy frank vampire father Joey abgial production design for the mansion is amazing visual effects arri cameras they use makes the movie old dusty for type vampire mansion but still very beautiful color swan lake them for song in the movie is so beautiful peaceful calming soundtrack for this movie was amazing for this movie 5 star 10 out 10 star 100 out 100 star

10 Abgilal movie review I really love this movie one of my favorite horror movies of 2024 I saw it three times in movie theaters it’s movie I definitely recommend watching I say it’s a movie to watch at night time because 98 percentage movie everything is filmed at night time and it’s horror movie it’s always better to watch it at night time any way it’s funny entertaining ballerina I give it 5 star ️ ️ highly recommend also you can watch it in standard definition and high definition and if you have peacock and 4k tv it’s better to watch it at night as well to 5 star 10 out 10 star 100 out 100 star

It’s not badly made, just uninspired and played out. If you like B-movies made with a budget and are specifically looking for an undemanding time, “Abigail” might be for you. “Abigail” might also disappoint you, especially if you’re hoping for more than what’s advertised.

The only inspired part of “Abigail” is the performance of Weir, a 14-year-old Irish actress best known as the title character in Netflix’s “Matilda the Musical.” She brings verve and joy to her vampire ballerina, dancing circles around the rest of the cast.

The movie is absolutely doable. The low score is because most characters felt clownish despite the movie's intent to create a serious atmosphere. The little fighting girl ballerina (I won't spoil her true character) didn't convince me at all, though there were some good micro-moments. The psychological battle between Abigail and the kidnapping crew were far more interesting and promised more than what was **** in all, they should have made it a darker, more serious movie. Or make it a full blown comedy. But this blend didn't work for me.
