Poor man's from dusk till dawn knock-off as an excuse to make an obvious anti-white movie. Black's are all wise and everything and all white's are stereotypical dumb inbred rednecks. That's all there's was up to it.

Not a bad movie at all. Bit of a weak of a start and I felt the ending was weakish as well, though it's a real ending and not some lame cliffhanger or something. Nor did I encounter wokist propaganda - which is the standard these days. It's also a horror movie which doesn't take it out on Christianity which is usually the case, albeit in veiled manners by mere association. But then again, this isn't really a "horror" movie but more of a thriller with a sprinkle of mysticism on top of it. It's not heavy on the stomach; They manage to keep it on the light side though pretty interesting moments do occur which are borderline horror for sure. When it comes to acting, they all did fine though Inde Navarette was clearly the star here. I absolutely loved it how she switched between her normal self and her enchanted self now and then. The director/executives should have exploited it more, but alas. I do feel however that move is was a tad too long. As in, it stopped moving forward. Scenes were used up to show more of the girls crazy antics to the point that the ending was kind of forced and simplified. Clearly this movie deserved smarter ending, but alas, that didn't happen too. It was fun, though most likely I won't rewatch it for a very long time.

The Good Shepherd7

It's not that bad actually. The movie has a major problem and that is that deNiro overdid it with subduing Edward's character (Matt Damon). Yes, we understand Edward intellectually, but we're not allowed to feel it. Matt Damon has to choose on many occasions between social aspects in his life or morality, and duty to the CIA. Yes, we would understand this burden, but we do not get to feel the burden. His wife in the movie, Angelina Jolie didn't work for me. I felt she was obnoxious from the start. Even a strict rational view from my end didn't help. I felt she's the weakest link by far acting wise. Story wise I felt it was very interesting. It mimicked history somewhat - not very accurate but actual events played a role in a recognizable and plausible way. In the now, we see Damon (Edward) being involved in finding a spy, as his role is that of a counter intel guy. And during that investigation, the analysis of leaked footage, we are taken back to Matt Damon's earlier life and career. Then we slowly move towards the now, and then the spy, the traitor, is revealed. To me, it was obvious who the traitor was, but the story was nevertheless interesting. But mind you, this movie is not for everybody. it's not a classical spy movie with high octane action. Yes, harsh consequences are briefly to be seen, but not for the action, but for illustrative purposes. So why is this movie not for all? Because of lack of depth in personality. Especially the lack of transparency of Edward's psyche - as I wrote, we're not allowed to feel him - could be off-putting. It was to be honest. You can see it back in the reviews here. To me it was worthwhile to keep on watching. I do not regret it as it left me with a few things to ponder about. Simply put, the story was good albeit naïve as to how the world really works, the acting worked for me, the actors too. Do not like smug Matt Damon, but I feel he did a good job here. He was ordered by deNiro to act bland so I can't blame him. Everybody did a good-enough job, but Angelina Jolie was not the right pick. She should stay in movies where she can continue to hate on men. I liked it and I'm going to watch it again because I'm pretty confident I missed a little gem here or there or may have misunderstood a thing or two. Exactly here lies another beauty of this movie. 7/10 feels right to me.

Fails to deliver... anything. There's no connection with the actors as they constantly look away from the camera, or stare at the ground and basically they behave like fish in a bowl - the hybrid camera angles help with that as well. We see the ghost from its point of view. But again, it delivers nothing. There's no opportunity to connect with anyone or anything. In fact, I just don't care. I wasn't given a reason. There's no good payoff at the end as well.

I read the high rated positive reviews: it's clear that they are bots/affiliate upvoters. This movie is not almost an 8 as it stands now. Not for the western market. The acting is way too buffoonish: grossly incompetent, cartoonish officers, a cowardly police captain, buffoonish others who for some reason cannot take rational decisions. Maybe this is a cultural difference between the west and Korea, as to what good acting is and what is expected. Then there's the sloth of the movie. It's way too slow. There's no reason to move a camera agonizingly slow, extend conversations without providing anything useful or walk slowly just to pad time. Then there are Korean cultural references which cannot be understood by the viewers in the Western world and so parts of the movie get lost them (us). My biggest complaint is that the clownish acting isn't in sync with a horror story of this kind.

Osgood Perkins' obsession with girls is noted once again. And the mandatory trope to associate Christianity with the (dark) occult is also something to be noted once again. Yes, Satan in its modern day extremely evil form is a late Christian modification of the original milder biblical and hebrew version. But rest assured that "Hollywood" is going to exploit this fact and use it as a vessel to keep criticizing the Christian religion (otherwise it's western Paganism they're going to attack). You won't see "them" do this to the other two Abrahamic cultures in movies. When a father brutally murders his family, it is made sure that a big fat crucifix remains visible and prominent. This was clearly no accident. But there's another typical Hollywood theme: families murdering each other. In this movie it gets more blatant as all of the affected families were happy, stable families. Only detective Lee's family just happens to have a single mother. But she was a loving mother and rest assured that the movie made it so that her daughter kills her in the end. The movie isn't that bad, just a tad too slow. Halfway or so I had enough and could use a little break. Too little is happening. Too little progress is made. You can stuff a movie full of mysterious clues, but its effect wears out. It's beyond me that in this information-age many people still do not see that many movies and cartoons aren't here solely for your enjoyment and to make money: it's equally about messaging and conditioning the masses, keeping them in certain states. Once you see, you can't unsee and will notice increasingly more.

The Blackcoat's Daughter3

Yet again, a director’s feature debut film is to associate Christianity (if not Western Paganism) with the supernatural horror. By now, it feels like an initiation rite for some new directors. Early on, we are confronted with an overwhelmingly bulky crucifix hanging in a priest's office; and when the camera leaves the room, another exaggerated crucifix hangs immediately to the right of the door, absolutely shoving the imagery in your face. The setting is a Catholic boarding school for girls, and the film focuses on the intersection of mental illness and Christian religion - never any other Abrahamic faith. As usual, Perkins obsession for young girls shines through once again. Why am I not surprised? From here, we follow the lives of three girls at an agonizingly slow pace. I've even seen reviewers online admit to playing the movie at a faster speed just to get through it. In hindsight, the events make sense (except for the sheer sloth of the pacing), but what is the point if the filmmakers don't let you enjoy the ride? Ultimately, it’s just another artsy slow-burn: a film not meant to entertain, but to signal the right messages to the powers-that-be in the industry.

This movie deserves a good rating. I think it only has a 6.7 right now because of expectations: viewers may have expected a scary movie revolving an ever-present supernatural evil. It's not that kind of a movie. There's no early reveal of some monster. The approach here is more mature. This film is about waiting for the supernatural payload in the end, whilst being immersed in an immediate and more earthly problem. At the same time, you know you'll "get there" so you'll be at the edge of your seat waiting for it. I guarantee you, the payload will be delivered. So there's no teens running around, no screaming music, no evil chasing ya. No nudity. No wokism. You will be introduced to the Gaelic folklore world, but you have to be willing to sit and listen. And then the movie takes off. I know, it's not for everybody. But my intent was to manage expectations. For the viewers who don't mind a calmer setting, this is it, with a real ending and a real movie to gaze at.

Movie was cliche, dull and slow. There's no need for this movie to be longer than two hours. A high production value movie because of expensive actors, but lazy script and story writing. If you're desperate for romanticized mobster movies then this one could be on your list too otherwise don't bother.

Under the Skin7

Actually, I find this movie better than the book. It's rare one would say that. The book is too direct, too Earthly and therefore the blatant anti-meat message dominates. The movie hides this messaging, if there ever was any messaging, and on top of it, it adds mystery. For example the victims are lured into the goo by inducing them into some dream-like state. It's never explained how this mechanic works, but it doesn't have to. ScarJo shines here and despite the rawness of the movie, it never feels cheap. I rated it a 7/10 and watched several times as one easily could miss a detail. But I do realize that the lack of action, lack of dialogue, lack of explanation and a slow pace would keep many viewers away.

Nastasja is something special in this movie. But the premise is nonsense to begin with: women were sacrificed to black panthers until black panthers became part human. What kind of premise is that? No answer was given as to why this sacrifice happened to begin with. Then, the story was twisted more from the original: it has been turned into something incestuous. For no reason than the perverse mind of main stream moviemakers. Though Nastasja Kinski was cool, which was the only good thing in this movie, it appears she was only in here for nudity and a cute shot from behind during a fishing trip. In the first hour nothing happened at all. No real buildup other than a few hints and scenes to keep you hooked. But then the tedious phase of introducing everybody began and it was tough to sit through. It's obvious this remake was only to introduce some perversions and promote further Nastasja's career.

No One Will Save You5

Meh. I get it, it's a movie about societal rejection/exclusion. Aliens land, she tries to escape them in a town full people who don't like her. That's the premise along with a little bit of character development. Most of the time she's running from aliens. nails a few of them but I won't spoil the ending. The ending didn't land with me. I don't see the point. In fact, I'm so glad I fast forwarded many moments because her evading / running from the aliens was drawn out for too long and most of all: why would I even care? It would have been more appropriate if the film was short. Its moralizing character would have been more clear and still I wonder: why care? What's the point?

So many movies have disappointed me but here's a movie that delivers, though it's offbeat. Offbeat can be good and this is one of those examples. The acting by everybody was good and Emma Stone blew me away. Don't know anything about her as I'm not celeb-oriented so I wonder is she always this good? But as I wrote, everybody did a good job. Little bit of a different soundtrack and sound effects as well, fitting the style of the movie: humor mixed with dead seriousness. The camera work and editing was done superbly. Also the genera atmosphere was well done - something most movies do not well. The big reveal made sense to me and I was happy with it, but the ultimate world-hating nihilistic ending bothers me a bit. It doesn't seem to fit the rest of the film before all that. Absolutely watch this movie if you like an approach which depends less on the usual Hollywood formulas.

The Dark and the Wicked1
May 19, 2026
I do not see the point of this movie. An evil spirit terrorizes a family on a ranch. It whispers something to people and then they commit suicide. You will never find out what it was. You will never find out a motive. You are given nothing to ponder about. You are given nothing to care about. The acting was solid enough and that's it. It has nothing to offer other than once again, as in most horror movies, is tot associate the Christian religion with evil. And even that didn't make sense because nobody was religious. That's the stretch main stream movie makers went make this association - very forced. Once you notice that by far most horror movies are made to associate Christianity an/or European people with evil, you will never again unsee.

Something in the Dirt2
May 19, 2026
Ridiculous implementation. The producers made the Endless and Resolution. That went well and was well received by people who appreciate a more lateral approach to mystique/science fiction. The movies eventually gave you answers and the personal interactions combined with the current mysterious on-goings was properly blended. Not this time. Something in the Dirt does not give you answers nor does it leave you wondering because of the utter boring... everything. The conversations is a nihilistic, pseudo-psychological, pseudo-intellectual blabbering endeavor. That's basically the whole movie. Don't bother with this movie. The producers lost the plot with this one.

The Ugly Stepsister4
Feb 15, 2026
A typical nominations-trap made by the woke industry:overweight young ladies of some nobility attempt to win the heart of a prince for his money. The point of it all is to complain about beauty, because that's what the main stream powers-that-be try to tell try to teach girls for the past 15 years. If you're looking for a few scenes of unnecessary nudity then this movie is for you. Not many others will like this movie, other than the usual affiliate upvoters to skew the ratings.

Weapons3
Feb 9, 2026
Another nominations-trap. It's designed to get accolades. The script got auctioned in a circle-jerk and turned into the usual clap-trap for their own audience. Final steps: hype it as the next grand film and hire the affiliate upvoters to pretend that real consumers rated this movie high. The movie is slow and devoid of suspense. Absolutely nothing happens in the first half for example. Only then it slowly builds up towards a story - but as I mentioned, without suspense. It's just a story unfolding. You won't get real answers, there's a bit of dark humor here and there. Ending finalizes it but whatever. That's how you're left behind.

Oh man another blatant endeavor to associate Christianity with (supernatural) evil. They're not even hiding it anymore. If you think movies like these are made purely for your entertainment, then think again. Acting is ok, direction is sometimes OK and often a furiously bad miss, but it's always highly predictable and entirely unoriginal. It's about Catholic imagery engulfed in a thick dark atmosphere. Amazing actors are given nothing work with due to the ridiculous plot. There are a few jumpscares which -as often - don't do anything for the movie. Then there's the post-modernistic woke garbage, underage sexualizing and telling young people to "give' their bodies while you still can. Let me be clear: thee sexual scenes in a row. That's what this movie has to offer. Then, 20 seconds after some **** kissing, she walks to the balcony and sets herself on fire. Some directing eyh? A true tiktok-generation movie indeed.

Abigail6
Nov 2, 2025
The movie is absolutely doable. The low score is because most characters felt clownish despite the movie's intent to create a serious atmosphere. The little fighting girl ballerina (I won't spoil her true character) didn't convince me at all, though there were some good micro-moments. The psychological battle between Abigail and the kidnapping crew were far more interesting and promised more than what was **** in all, they should have made it a darker, more serious movie. Or make it a full blown comedy. But this blend didn't work for me.

Late Night with the Devil7
Nov 2, 2025
Entertaining film about a late-night host running a Halloween-themed broadcast. For him and the show it's bit of a do-or-die moment as the network is about to cancel his show due to disappointing ratings. Partially presented as found footage, it gradually reveals a ritual to summon Abraxis. The story unnecessarily ties this to Christian imagery as the goal of Hollywood is to associate evil of a supernatural kind to Christianity. Performances are solid, though a few verge on theatrical excess. The ending fits well, but the opening drags a little bit. The 1970s atmosphere is excellent and adds to the fun, giving it a lighthearted fare, though it ends up extremely serious.

Speak No Evil5
Nov 2, 2025
The movie was not very good. It follows a nice family visiting another that turns out to be extremely irritating. Most of the film focuses on that dynamic, which quickly becomes dull. The eventual twist reveals that the hosts intend to murder their guests and take their belongings. The earlier emphasis on their annoying behavior feels unrelated to that motive, as if the story shifted direction partway through production. As usual it's the European white rural persona which is to be associated with evil. Make no mistake, this is not coincidental.

Hellraiser3
Nov 7, 2022
The original canon has been abandoned and is replaced by something nonsensical and ambiguous. So the person that gets cut is taken to Hell as sort of a payment. It doesn't seem to bother who "solves" the puzzle box. But who exactly gets the "prize"? Initially it was Voight because he was the owner - what other reason could there be, because he didn't solve the puzzle. But after Voight, what are the rules? Who gets the configuration prize, and based on what rules? And finally, suppose the owner solves the puzzle but also cuts himself and is therefore taken to hell as payment. Now what? Who gets the configuration prize? Nobody is there! Unless there's some exception. But the point is that this movie tries to introduce a rule-based puzzle box world, yet does not provide sufficient rules to make it comprehensive. Instead, this movie appears to do whatever is convenient. The pleasure box is no longer a mystery. It has become deterministic and nihilistic; When the old style Cenobites were summoned, they would investigate the reason. And based on what they find, they would provide their own interpretation where they do not show to know the difference between pleasure and pain. Now that approach has content! And that has been killed off now. The executives don't care for such things. This resulted in incoherence of the world in this movie. This movie only exists to promote wokeness and to destroy more culture from the west. Soon enough you'll see two gay men in bed, Pinhead is played by a transsexual (it actually makes sense but don't think for a second that "making sense" is the reason they did this) and... if you look closely at the end, you'll see a golden statue of a man with his head down and arms spread. What does it resemble? Baphomet! This image is shown in multiple scenes where the statue is seen in the background. Again, better believe this is on purpose. Its depiction in a body of chrome was seen in Rihanna's music clip "Umbrella". See the half second frame at 2:46 in the clip. The acting was often poor and often outright bad. The "scary" parts were too clean and clinical; The Cenobites resembled set pieces. The tiny bit of blood was unconvincing, the little bit of ripping of flesh looked outright cheap. This is a horror movie? The movie was way too tame for that. Other effects were cheap too. The first fragments of the movie exist only to fulfill the woke-quota and is not needed for the story. The represented drug addiction was less than a shadow of what it really is. What was the point tangibly? The characters were generic disposable cardboard items. Period. I could give this flick a one star rating or two or three. What does it matter? An increasing number of people are waking up. I'm calling this rubbish out for over fifteen years in many movie reviews and I hope I contributed a little. But I feel my role as an insignificant person trying to wake up people is coming to an end. Hopefully it's for good reasons.

This website won't commit more than 665 characters right now so I have to keep it short - my apologies. 100 pound girl kills massive predator. Ends up with even no scratch after multiple ordeals. Women strong, men bad, especially white men (depicted by cussing French trappers). The end. Everything else in the movie was padding. Camerawork was OK (only good thing), characters bland, dialogs bland, ridiculous situations, animals were obvious computer animations. Low effort writing in general. End-thought: a women's strength is these days expressed in terms of men being weak, buffoons or idiotic, by bending natural rules and creating idiotic situations.

Edit: aah, thank you for the "0 of 9 users found this helpful" votes. It's not like this website has become infected with "affiliate voters", is it? (LOL) Anyway, here it goes, enjoy.
---- You know the drill: all men are evil, except for the few good ones - they are immature or even buffoons instead - and that's the only thing I have to say about the male characters. The plot: Widows are female secret agents and are evil. Turns out they're evil because they are mind-controlled. The mission: bring vials of an antidote against this mind-control. To avoid any misunderstanding, this movie tells you right from the bat what it aims to achieve via interpretative visuals: opening scenes with a gender-confused blue haired teen girl/boy/Q+. Before we get to the end scenes, we are firstly treated with cringe conversations, to be followed by an utterly irrelevant mid-phase. After many standard fighting scenes (with lots of cuts and camera shakes because nobody has skills) we finally end up at the lair of the evil male Dreykov. Dreykov uses the source this planet has too much of according to him: women. The overlords behind the woke culture want you to know that men have no respect for women. Lacking also was the Black Widow's exposure of her time when she was operational as a Widow. Her training, her missions, her place in the world, you'll get nothing. Also the dialogs were way too long as they dragged on even when an issue has been resolved already. Bottom line, this movie was boring for most of the time. I was surprised that ScarJo didn't carry the scenes well. Her face wasn't stating 'I got this'. The end result is that she was sidelined in her own story; Not only because of her mediocre acting, but also because the executives did not flesh out her character. She, in fact, was overshadowed by other characters in this flick. This movie is one big lie; Taskmaster - a woman here - was played almost entirely by a male stuntman named Andy Lister. Nor did Olga Kurylenko really appear in this movie; Her head was digitally inserted when she briefly took her mask off. On Social media she complained that the suit was too heavy. The only good thing I have to say is "Florence Pugh". She had a cute role - bit of a wacky Widow - and did a good job adding humor to the movie. A few positives and so many negatives. Yet here's one more negative: the special effects were badly done as well. We have people jumping in front of what is obviously a green screen. It saddens me that the masses keep funding this political and lazy rubbish by paying for it. I give it two stars because of high quality production and miss Pugh. The boredom, political messaging, unconvincing and sidelined ScarJo, bad jokes, thin story, uninspiring action really add up in a bad way.

Mean Girls2
Jun 13, 2021
I haven't seen this movie when it came out because it's clearly a girls' movie and didn't seem funny to me. A few days ago I read that the movie became a cult movie, but wasn't successful in the beginning due to a lack of marketing. So I thought: I might have been wrong; Let's watch. I read that Lindsay practically carried the movie. Well, I don't know about that. She definitely was a special kind of a cutie, but otherwise her acting was not structurally better than that of others. Now on to the funny part. Well... oof. If you like run-off-the-mill jokes then you're set, but otherwise the "funny' entirely depended on the wacky stick figures. Was there a plot? Yes. Two plots; Lindsay trying to get a boyfriend which was being sabotaged and secondly the preparation of the revenge by a ugly or alternative girl (or something) who was wronged by the three beauties. Lindsay is stuck in the middle of all of this. The plot elements jump from branch to branch like a blind monkey stung by a bee (maybe a queen bee). But we can't have anything intelligent can we? Just like the girls, the plot evolves in random directions from second to second. An odd thing sticks out: many actors looked like they were imported straight out of Jewish communities; All of the relevant roles are occupied by **** and Khazarians. I was tempted to check whether this was co-produced with Israel. The perpetuation of culture is blatant, something the very industry and their media buddies attack whites for. "Smart" Asians, "Girls with feelings" (fat girls), outsiders (uglies), nerds, the stereotyping never ends. The shallowness of the movie - bunch of girls acting out like 12 year old spoiled brats - should have been its appeal and I had some expectations, but the execution wasn't done well at all, other than the technicalities such as the camerawork and editing. Don't fall for the user score (unusually much higher than paid off professional reviewers). Having read a bunch of perfect 10 reviews, it's clear to me that bots and "affiliate" reviews are at play here. This is 100% exclusively a chick flick, and for most of them it may be a tad too dumb.

If even "Critics" give such a low score for a movie of this magnitude then you know it's bad. Why the user-score is currently at a 7.0 is unclear to me. Purple Rain5
May 5, 2019
A higher score than a mere a 5/10 I cannot give despite having enjoyed the movie; The movie displays every attribute you'd expect from a b-movie. Prince tries to keep his gig in some establishment. He soon has to compete with Appolonia's group ("Sex Shooter") which has been recruited by Morris Day - who looks like a stereotypical negro clown pimp. Two more subplots include Appolonia being a potential love-interest of Prince, though this looked more like the main theme. The second sub-plot was Wendy & Lisa's role; The guitarist and the keyboard operator feel underappreciated. Prince never listens to their input by ignoring their tapes for example. Since the get-go of this subplot, at 1/3rd of the movie, it's clear W&L wrote the "Purple Rain" gig. Will Prince learn his lesson and play their song? And why would Prince learn his lesson? Stay till the end of the movie to find out. Maybe a third sub-plot was the theme of Appolonia's naked body - a beautiful body, beautiful breasts. Completely unnecessary and the nudity scenes felt out of place, but (((Hollywood))) eyh. It was interesting to see Prince putting all of his emotion in a certain song. Never seen it before. It was a mix of laughable and endearing. Maybe this is really him, which in that case I'd retract the "laughable" part. The Revolution didn't play really a role. From the glimpses of Prince's crew I'd say most of them are gay or something. Everybody had a tiny little role to play, but said Prince's crew. Do they lack that much charisma and talent? I wouldn't know. Perhaps Wendy and Lisa were the only ones with talent at that time. One has to observe the little things as they don't get much acting time. Also notice how the under-appreciation theme of the movie turned out to be a real issue. That's why W&L left Prince and began their own group. Acting-wise Appolonia's was the worst. The nude scenes described why she was hired. For die-hard Prince fans only.

Expect Social Justice tropes: boys chasing a foxtail on her bike, Lara has now small breasts, she acts like a brat even when she "finds herself", and you name it. Vikander is hired to attract the boys and she does it well going by the reviews but that's it. After just over a half an hour the movie turns into a cheap action movie made by a student. She barely can't lift her legs (or even her arms) in fight scenes. Lot's of cuts needed to make a fight coherent. And so on and so on. Conclusion: if you're a seventeen year old boy then you could download this movie and get off on Vikander and b-movie action - don't pay for it - otherwise forget about it and move on.

I saw this movie yesterday. The idea - the narrative - is good. The implementation is not. First of all the acting isn't spectacular or anything; Fairly basic. Natalie Portman does an OK job, but Jennifer Jason Leigh is so so. What you need to know is that besides the narrative, again which is quite good, it's one of those modern male-unfriendly movies. It's about an alien crash site. Male soldiers were sent first, but they failed their mission. So now they send scientists. All of them women. But what happens next is that they wear militarized outfits and brought military combat rifles with them... The movie refuses to be smart enough so they could send both scientists and soldiers. No sir, these days men, especially white men are too much for Hollywood. Needless to say the added value of a female-only "science" team with M16's was never shown, but that's how it works these days. In fact, at one point they were surprised one of them could actually wield a rifle (Portman was former Marine). So the bad is the feminized picture, the often stupid dialogue and the overall bland acting. The good contains some action and a good (but Hollywood style superficial) story with a few nifty interesting details. But not interesting or nifty enough for you to see the movie again. Once is enough and I'm not sure anyone should pay for it. I wouldn't recommend you to give it a go because of the anti-male undertone. It fits Portman's overly liberal political activism by the way. Also, it doesn't strike me as a main screen movie. It's more like a TV production to me. Besides all of the previously mentioned subjects, you need to know that this movie is a "slow burner". But it's not slow because it's so genius. Despite the interesting narrative, again, it's thinly implemented, so not much is said or done. The movie wanted to compensate with interesting shots instead, but I dispute the level of "interesting", so to speak. Many slow burners aren't genius at all, despite the pretentiousness. Again, understand that this is a typical Hollywood movie: the main script was probably written in a day. Then a few more details are added or altered throughout the shoot. And that's it. Too bad. A very good idea with an interesting message ruined by a poor implementation on a wide scale, as well as due to a politicized undertone. You can throw money at it for some special effects (no better than amateur Adobe After-Effects hobbyists on YouTube) and pay money to stars like Portman and Jennifer, but it didn't help.
