Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

An amazing accomplishment, especially considering the fact that Sly 2 was just released last year.

A wholly successful attempt to create a fully character-based game. It's fun and engrossing, and more than strong enough to stand against darker, more difficult games aimed to please a jaded, older audience.

Bigger, longer, and Slyer than the previous two in the franchise. Although Sly 3 still suffers from a relative ease that has always plagued the series, the gameplay is varied and clever enough to keep a player of any skill level's attention.

The game falls short in several areas: the game has a tendency of being too easy, the camera angles can be frustrating, the framerate drops and a lot of other nit-picks that prevents this game from being the best in the series.

A very consistent, if occasionally flawed title. Fans of the Sly Cooper series are going to absolutely love this game.

Sly 3 is a solid and inoffensive kids'adventure which perfectly satisfies the needs of its target audience and credits it delivers with a much more discerning nature than other games of its sort. [Dec 2005, p.98]

Sly 3 is not only the most ambitious but also the best game in the franchise. It has the best episode In the entire franchise "An opera of fear" and also contains the most fun and diverse missions, from "The Ancestors Gauntlet" which I personally find to be the best platforming in the franchise to "Laptop retrieval" which has the best boss fight with two interesting stages which really mix up the pacing and is challenging "for a game designed for a younger audience". Sly 3 is the whole package with memorable villains, story, and gameplay I highly recommend you play it.

One of the best games ever. The only thing I don´t like is the training missions. But even with them it´s a 10/10

Juego sencillo y entretenido, añade más mecánicas que en sus antiguas entregas. Visualmente está bastante bien. El lore de los personajes toma más importancia también. Bastante completo, me lo pasé bien jugándolo.

Sly 3 improves and fixes some things with the second game however it also gets bloated with too many characters and gameplay segments that come along with them. this game has many ideas but does not pull them all off very well. And with that the game also suffers from some of the weakest bosses and enemy's who don't have any connection to each other giving less incentive to continue and no collectibles as well. In conclusion the games got problems but it still has many enjoyable aspects carried over from the previous title and some new things that work pretty well in the sly formula.

I don't fully know how this happened. I gave Sly 2 a 9/10 and Sly 3 looks like it's doing the same things as Sly 2 but I just think the gameplay is super mediocre. It is still varied like Sly 2 but nothing is fun. It might be possible that it's just me and that after Sly 2 more of the same just isn't cutting it for me. I'd have to go back and play Sly 2 over again to see if that's the case but I don't think it is and I got other things to do. Production wise Sly 3 looks and acts like everything I loved about Sly ****'s just boring to play.
