A tasty culinary package for party chefs with cross-platform co-op ambitions - especially if you like it hectic and challenging.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a delightful game. My sister has asked me more than once to bring it over so we can play. It’s a game the entire family will enjoy. My parents, though not gamers themselves, enjoyed watching us play. The chaos that comes with it is all part of the fun. Just take my advice and watch how loud you get. But I do agree with that officer. It is “one hell of a game.”

The Ultimate Double-Dipping Scam: Holding Accessibility Hostage If you're thinking about buying the original Overcooked 1 or 2, DON'T. Team17 and Ghost Town Games are pulling one of the most anti-consumer, predatory pricing schemes in co-op gaming history. Here is the reality: The original games are notoriously punishing with zero difficulty options. For years, the community begged for a simpler mode so couples and kids could just enjoy the game without the brutal timers. Did the developers release a patch for the games we already paid for? NO. Instead, they created "Assist Mode" and locked it behind a completely separate, full-priced re-release called "All You Can Eat". They abandoned the loyal players who supported them from day one. If you own Overcooked 1 and 2, your games are dead, outdated code. But it gets worse. They purposefully leave the old, outdated versions in the PlayStation Store at absurd prices to trick new players into buying them, while simultaneously discounting the "All You Can Eat" edition to make it look like a steal. You are literally being forced to buy the exact same game twice just to get a basic difficulty slider that should have been a free update. Paywalling accessibility features is absolute garbage behavior. Do not reward this corporate greed.

This is an extremely enjoyable co-op game. It will make you want to rip your hair out at times, but overall it is still very satisfying beating levels and 3-starring them. The DLC is also very fun.

Couch co-op is still the very best way to experience this zany, fast-paced restaurant game. The updated graphics are as sharp as a santoku if you’re playing on a 4K television. Another huge bonus is trophy pop-ups have shifted to the upper right side of the screen. No more blocking the orders in the middle of the lunch rush! This is the co-op game to get alongside your PS5 if you love playing games with friends and family. So fire up those ovens and get chopping.

One of the best multiplayer games available on current platforms gets even better with no loading times, a 4K resolution and all DLC stuffed into one delightful package.

There's something so magical about the way Overcooked mixes simple cooking instructions with frantic stage hazards that require verbal check-ins between co-op players. I can't get enough. I've lost track of how many times I've beaten these games, and it's a testament to their design that they still hold up so well. If you're hankering for more happy, shouty, don't-blame-me vibes, All You Can Eat feels definitive.

Overall, this is very much just more of the same, but Overcooked remains a delightful co-op experience. Extremely accessible, surprisingly challenging, and fun for all ages.

A definitive take on some of the best cooperative games to ever grace PlayStation, whatever Overcooked! All You Can Eat might lack in terms of bespoke content and PlayStation 5 focused features, it more than makes up with a delectable banquet of face-stuffing goodness. Need a good party game for your PlayStation 5 to get you through the holidays? Look no further.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a must - play co - op gem that deserves a perfect score. With simple, responsive controls, it throws you and your friends into outrageously designed kitchens. The cartoon - style graphics are charming, and the huge variety of levels, recipes, and modifiers offer endless replayability. It's a surefire way to have hours of fun and laughter with friends, setting the bar for party games.

If you already own overcooked or overcooked 2 don't bother with this game, it's even more buggy than the original, trash... PSN should really allow players to refund money back to the PSN wallet exactly because of ripoff developers like this...
