An awesome LEGO game. Haven’t played one in a while but I enjoyed this one thoroughly & loved all the Batman film/video game references. There is perhaps too many collectibles to collect in the open world for me, but I am sure others will love this.

A fantastic and memorable experience. Very good story with moments of quality humor as well. Must play for any Batman fan and anyone wanting to have an enjoyable time. First Lego game I have played and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

What a fun game! Everything in this game has been made with taking everything into account with Batman, his adventures and the characters over the years is awesome! I found myself just driving and flying around collecting everything. The story is fantastic and they really focused on the attention to detail when making this game. This is the best Lego game made to date but be warned…it’s very easy and mindless…don’t we all need that sometimes.

Its solid, the onboarding and prologue is rough to get through but there is a ton of charm and wit in its story and layout. I could see is if I was a kid that this may be the greatest game ever.

One step forward in the Arkham saga. The gameplay is so beautiful and the general design brings players to the best Batman world ever made. The best: Levels, city, vehicles, skins, open world, batcave, durability, combat system, humor, upgrade system, 2 player mode. The bad: The end feels like a premature idea.

Incredible game. Honestly a masterpiece. If you love Batman it is a love letter blended with Arkham combat elite exploration and finding 100% collectibles like other Lego games. Somehow blended all Batman movies ever into one story seamlessly. Must play

I have never been so bored by a game. With this gameplay, even three-year-olds could complete the game on the highest difficulty setting. What a waste of time and money.

This game is great if you’re a big Batman fan, if you’ve followed all the media, movies etc. There are definitely high ups and low lows with this game but overall a very good experience. The combat is something I’d like to hit on because it brings back the old school Arkham games which is cherished by many. Where the game tapers of for me at least Is there are some points in the middle of the story where I just found myself saying “is it over yet” In the middle of levels because I felt like I was just repeating the same things over and over. Lego Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight is a worth it experience the bosses are cool if you like Batman and it is a real gift to those who love Lego games.

For a LEGO game in 2026. It really falls short. Not only is it poorly optimised (ps5 running a lego game In 2026 on the highest quality settings barely **** 60 fps while the ps3 running Lego Batman 2 could do it……….). the open world is simply streets and buildings slapped together with no life. Driving around, every car you hit flys off you like it’s a balloon to begin with, the npc’s on the sidewalk cannot be killed and don’t have anything interactive to them, they’re just there to look pretty. Within story missions the npc’s just patternly repeat the same gestures. I get it, it’s a lego game for kids, but in 2026 where most ppl who are playing it aren’t even kids, it’s people revisiting the nostalgia of a Lego game. We expected a lot more for the year it was released. Like seriously, imagine being able to drive around as Batman and a random crime happens that you can intervene with, that is the bare minimum and you can’t even do that. Open world my ass. It feels more like a huge map with buildings scattered everywhere and the sidewalk life (if there’s any) is just copied and pasted. I’m swear to god Lego Batman 2 was more enjoyable and that was made 15 years ago. I’ll never understand why these gaming companies do what they do. Budget my ass. Add 25-50 mil more and you can create a lego game if the decade by making it more interactive but no. It’s all about the money no the legacy. Not even the “legacy of the dark knight” can intervene. The game feels like a hopeless attempt at a 2026 Lego game for money. I honestly am I so p’ed off that it’s come to this. It’s an absolute joke. Look, yes the game is fun to play, but the whole kid game crap and lack of open world venture and immersion just brings it down to a 7/10 at the absolute most. In terms of open world for a LEGO GAME in 2026, I’d put it at a 5. It’s not like there is much to compare it to but that doesn’t change anything. It should have been able to pave its own way but it failed and it failed really badly in that sense. If any of the devs somehow read this. Please tell the people above you to re-evaluate what they think is a successful LEGO game. Sure this LEGO game is a success but it could be way way way way better with such minor details added. Adding to the immersion, the gameplay, the open world, the life on the streets. FMD my LEGO character his putting hands through the water like it’s not even there. No interactivity between either. It’s just a sloppy joke. Honestly 6.5/10 given the years it made and how immersive it is. I know the team can do better with a bigger budget so this is on the parent company. You definitely have a 60 year old bum of a bloke pulling the ropes for this game. Maybe open your eyes and hire someone 25-30 who’s played the previous Lego games and could actually make an impact of what needs to be improved. Absolute joke…..

This does not feel like a "celebration" of the history of Batman. The game starts extremely slow, the prologue just to get to the main story takes over an hour. As a big fan of the DC Comics universe, I am disappointed that this is so myopic. It's a generic Batman story with some Nightwing and Batgirl. To be a real "celebration", I feel like they should've took many eras and jumped around points, creating a thru-line with narrative. Some year one to Bruce taking in **** to some time with him as Robin, see him quit and become Nightwing along with Jason as Robin, to Tim and Knightfall to Damian... Bruce's relationships and how it all harkens back to his trauma.

Lego Batman does something for the character of Batman only a Lego game could do. Bring together all Batman stories (mostly from the films, games, and shows) together and make one cohesive story. And in the process made me personally really appreciate all of the different eras of Batman I’ve usually “disregarded” in favor of my personal picks (The Batman, Arkham, Nolan). In that regard, “Legacy of The Dark Knight” is the perfect title for this game. It shows the long history and depth of this character, all in the fun medium of LEGO. The world, the missions, visuals, and gameplay are all great as well.

Not a perfect game, but it was definitely a fun experience, which is what LEGO is all about. Gameplay was engaging with tons of cool references. I'm glad this game and its developers are getting the positive recognition they rightfully deserve, because you can tell a lot of care was put into this game. It was nice to return to Gotham City once more!

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight feels, at its core, like a child's dream brought to life, taking LEGO sets, recreating iconic scenes from the films, and expanding them through pure imagination. While it takes a few liberties with certain characterizations, it captures the spirit of Batman in a way that is both heartfelt and endlessly entertaining. Because of that, it stands as one of if not the greatest LEGO Batman projects ever made.

The game's pace and speed never slowed down. The level designs were beautiful. I especially liked the circus level and the level related to plants. On the negative side, the unlimited health system seemed ridiculous to me. I don't know if it's because I was playing in normal mode, but I never died. I think this kills the feeling of satisfaction in the game. Thanks to TT Games for this great game; hopefully, you'll consider Turkish players and provide Turkish language support in your next game..

Very good LEGO game. I just cant believe that this will probably be the best game i will play all year. And it's a LEGO game, who would have thought. This will probably be my GOTY. I mean all i can say is, if you like Batman's Arkham series? Then you most probably will like this. There are some glitches here and there, and the combat isn't the best. But i really love exploring the city and doing side missions for collectables, puzzles, races etc etc. And there is also a ton of references to past batman movies and others which i liked. I also love the story and the LEGO humor that comes with it. So yeh it's a great game, thumbs up from me.

A surprisingly fun game I had a great time with it, and it felt well-balanced overall. It’s a good experience despite a few issues, the kind you’ll find in pretty much every LEGO game.

Good bit of fun, the humour is a bit out there for Batman, BUT it is a lego game. Gameplay is fun and while short the story is good, i've only sunk a few hours into it as i wasn't really excited for it and was really hyped about First Light, but i will definitely be going for the platinum.

Plays like the Arkham games but in Lego form. Visually looks great, music fits Batman, and gameplay is good. Exploring the city is fun and can be a little wonky at times. Combat is good but can get stale from the "just press square a bunch" fights. It's a great game overall with minor flaws.

LEGO Batman is a surprisingly timeless experience. The level design is creative and constantly introduces fun ideas using Batman’s gadgets and characters in clever ways. Its humor is lighthearted without disrespecting the darker Gotham atmosphere. Combat is simple but satisfying, while the puzzles keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. What truly stands out is the presentation; the lighting, rain effects, and small visual details give the game real charm. Even today, its artistic style feels unique and memorable. A genuinely great superhero game that still holds up beautifully.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is honestly a love letter to Batman fans and comic/media fans in general. The game is packed with references, niche jokes, and details that clearly cater to longtime fans while still being enjoyable for casual players.Playing through it reminded me why I loved Batman in the first place. It genuinely reignited my excitement for comic characters and the kinds of stories that made me a nerd growing up.What surprised me most is that, despite being a LEGO game aimed at younger audiences, it manages to tell one of the best original Batman stories I’ve experienced in a long time. I think it’s unfair to directly compare it to the Arkham games because they focus on specific moments in Batman’s life, while this game feels more like a celebration of Batman as a whole mythos, mixed with its own original **** Batman: Arkham games are still better mechanically and probably more fun moment-to-moment, but the fact that this LEGO game can stand beside them in terms of storytelling, atmosphere, and love for the source material is honestly insane.I never expected a LEGO Batman game to make me feel this invested again, but it absolutely did.

This is by far the most fun and enjoyable experience playing a batman game since the Arkham series that holds dear to me heart. I am not a huge fan of Lego themed games and have tried to give them a chance before with no real desire to return for completion. However, this game has me hooked. I have loved every part so far and I look forward to full completing including the side missions. If you are on the fence or hesitant to buy this game, just give in. You will love it!!

A delightful masterpiece. This game had a lot to live up to, after the many down years of Batman games, including the disappointing Gotham Knights and the disgrace that is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and combined with the fact that TT was gone for 4 years after developing the Skywalker Saga, which had a development cycle that was quite the challenge, and my God, it not only met those expectations, but absolutely exceeded it all. Fantastic gameplay, taking liberties from both classic LEGO and the Arkham series, which is highly influenced with its excellent combat system, the addicting exploration, the satisfying and funny LEGO humor that makes a lot of sense, and is a breath of fresh air having coming from the bad years of what has been happening at WB Games for the past couple of years. This game has definitely earned its place as not only the best LEGO game of them all, but easily one of the best Batman games and one of the most fun superhero games I’ve played in a very long time. Legacy of the Dark Knight is something special. It’s already up there as one of my favorites of 2026. This game is a delightful and beautiful masterpiece. This game gets a 10 out of 10. Talk about a game right there that is a match made in heaven. To say that a LEGO game is a 10 out of 10 is crazy to say that, but it honestly is, and that’s what makes it even more special.

I wasn't sure whether this game would work out with seven characters, and an upgrade tree. It was also worrying hearing about all the other changes in things. Luckily for me, my worry was put to peace. If it wasn't for school I would have one-hundred precented the game by now. Absolute masterpiece, some people are just angry that it's unique

A fanastic addition to the Arkham games even though its technically its own thing. The Rocksteady formula is all over this game and I am so happy to finally get another Batman game by them even if it was only co-developed. Visuals are stunning on the PS5 Pro which is something I never really thought I'd say about a LEGO game. Story is a blast to go through and I love the subtle and not so subtle references to not only Batman but other pop culture as well. The combat is your typical Arkham affair which is so fun and engaging and if you have played those titles muscle memory kicks in quick so be sure to play on a higher difficulty if you want a challenge. I didn't engage too much in open world activities as I just wanted to see what happened next in the story but it seems like there was a good amount to do. What I did experience was some fun, quick to complete challenges and puzzles scattered around the world. The LEGO games I've played before have always been average to good games with more recent entries stepping it up in quality and enjoyment. I've been really trying to find some flaw in this game to categorize it with the others but have yet to find one that brings down the overall experience. A true celebration of all things Batman. This is a fantastic Batman game and the best LEGO game I've ever played.

*LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight* is hands-down an absolute blast and a massive win for both LEGO and DC fans. It strips away the overwhelming, tedious bloat of recent massive open-world LEGO games to give us a highly focused, atmospheric, and cinematic experience that pays perfect tribute to Batman's entire history. What makes it so incredibly fun is how it blends the classic, charming brick-built humor with elements that feel straight out of the *Arkham* games. The combat is surprisingly fluid, utilizing a combo-driven system that lets you counter, dodge, and smash through goons with rhythm and weight, making it feel way more engaging than standard button-mashing. The version of Gotham City they’ve built here is a stunning playground. Grappling and gliding off **** feels incredibly kinetic, fast, and smooth. Instead of throwing 500 identical characters at you, the game dials it back to a tight, core roster—including Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Catwoman. Because of this, every single character feels completely unique, complete with their own personalized skill trees, custom gadget upgrades, and specialized mechanics for solving the game's clever environmental puzzles. From the shot-for-shot cinematic homages to classic films to the smart quality-of-life upgrades like a smooth detective sonar ping, the game hits the perfect sweet spot. It is a highly polished, nostalgic, and genuinely joyful adventure that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with these characters in the first place.
