Let's get this out of the way from the start: this is not the best Lego video game ever—that spot belongs to Star Wars. And this is not the best Batman video game, either, as that title belongs to the Arkham series. I'm fully aware that the team behind the Arkham series helped with this game, but that doesn't automatically make it better than the real thing. Massive shoutout to the marketing team because they are the MVPs of this game. Going up against 007, which released around the same time, they needed a strong marketing campaign to stand out. With that said, once I got over my initial disappointment that this wasn't a revolutionary game, I actually enjoyed myself. My biggest gripe is that the game won't let me sit and think about a puzzle for five seconds before a character starts running their mouth about what to do next.This game consists of six main chapters that took me about 14 hours to complete. It takes you through multiple movies and even touches on Batman TV shows, keeping the game feeling fresh with each new mission. Without spoiling too much, I really appreciated how the game follows the progression of Bruce Wayne's/Batman's story from beginning to **** gameplay is satisfying. I just wish I had more control over where I could aim my grappling hook to reach higher places more efficiently and glide farther. The combat is good. It's a simple two-button system: Square to attack and Triangle to dodge. There is also an option to dodge with Circle. While I did use it from time to time, I didn't notice much of a difference between the Circle and Triangle dodges.There's also a Focus Meter to pay attention to. Once it's full, you can press R1 to unleash a fury of punches on your opponent. This is a very simple combat system that gets the job done. This is also a Lego game, so if you're expecting flashy combos, curb your expectations.I really enjoyed the music throughout the game. Each mission not only captures the visuals of the movie or TV show it represents, but it also highlights the music that goes along with it. Hearing Prince—one of my favorite artists—in this game was a really nice touch and a great callback to the 1989 Michael Keaton Batman film. Each mission really made me feel like I was watching the movie again.Visually, everything looks good. It's a Lego version of Gotham. It's dark, it rains almost the entire time—what else would you expect from Gotham? I didn't notice any frame drops during gameplay, although there were one or two during the cutscenes. Nothing **** really didn't like the dancing that took place during one mission. My guess is that it's a nod to The Lego Batman Movie, which I never watched, but I just didn't understand the purpose. I also wasn't a fan of the Quick Time **** least favorite part of the game is, without a doubt, the driving. The vehicles all feel too stiff and clunky for my liking, and the braking leaves a lot to be desired when taking sharp corners. I opted to run and glide whenever possible. That being said, I absolutely hated the driving mission and was thrilled when it was **** of the characters are fun to use and add depth to the game. In fact, they add enough replay value that I could see myself coming back to earn the Platinum Trophy.This is the most complete game I've bought on day one in quite a while. No game-breaking glitches—just jump in and have fun playing as one of DC's most iconic characters.I'm happy to give this game the Young Rebel Stamp of Recommendation and a solid 8.5/10. I just wish I could sit with a puzzle and think for myself for a minute before a character tells me what to **** you haven't played this game already, give it a shot!

WA has moved away from focusing on football and football mechanics and focused more on the team building mode called Ultimate Team. It’s a fine mode but it requires way too much of your time. If you don’t play DAILY, you’re behind and your team will not be functional online. If they made Franchise or creat a player mode like they used to on older games, it would be a lot better. These are professional football players yet everyone is always out of position and it’s because people find ways to manipulate the game. It’s not based on football strategy at all. If you like NFL and not football, you’ll like this game however I find Madden to be disrespectful to the sport of football. I wouldn’t spend full price on this and won’t buy the next version on day one.

This game exceeded my expectations by a mile.After being a little disappointed by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales compared to the first Spider-Man game, I honestly didn’t expect this game to hit as hard as it did. But from start to finish, I had a great **** me, this is the best Spider-Man game overall simply because you get to play as both Peter and Miles. As the game progressed, Miles really grew on me. Watching him grow in confidence and mature throughout the story was one of my favorite parts of the **** Osborn family storyline continues to get deeper and honestly carries a lot of the emotional weight of the game. Harry was compelling, Kraven was a strong villain, and the symbiote storyline added a darker tone that mostly worked for me. Some parts dragged a little, but it also gave a great reason for Miles to step up and help bring Peter back.Gameplay wise, this game is just FUN. Web swinging feels better than ever, combat is smooth, and Peter’s mechanical arms were one of my favorite additions. The world itself also feels much more alive this time around. The side missions were way more compelling, and completing them made New York feel more complete instead of just feeling like filler content.Visually, the game looks fantastic and the DualSense features are incredible. This absolutely feels like a true PS5 experience and honestly made the system feel worth owning.That said, I still think the first Spider-Man game had more memorable individual moments. When I think back to the original, I instantly remember moments like the Scorpion poisoning sequence, chasing Vulture across the city, or fighting Electro and Vulture at the same time. Spider-Man 2 has a lot of great moments, but none that personally stood out to me on that same iconic level.Also… the MJ missions still need to go. The blaster didn’t fix them.Overall though, this is still an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys Spider-Man or just wants a really fun superhero game with a strong story. This is my second playthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and it’s just as good as the first time I played it. When you’re in it, the story is fun, but not overly captivating. I did enjoy the emotional aspects, especially how it highlights the challenges in relationships between family and friends.I didn’t care much for the underlying political messages, although they were subtle. The combat was solid—it felt very similar to Spider-Man. I do wish the skill tree was deeper, like in Spider-Man, and that the game itself was a bit longer and more memorable overall.After finishing it, the part that really stood out to me was the bridge scene. The stakes felt high—it was epic and more cinematic than the rest of the game. Which is crazy, considering the final boss fight was literally about saving all of Harlem.That said, it serves as a great bridge between Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. This game gets the YoungRebel stamp of recommendation, and I’d rate it a 7/10.

A fun, story-driven experience that kept me locked in from start to finish. What I Liked:I was invested right away. The story felt meaningful and I actually cared about Lara trying to survive and escape the island. That alone kept me playing.Gameplay was solid. Shooting feels good, stealth works well, and once you understand enemy patterns, even the tougher fights become manageable. It never felt unfair, just challenging at times.Pacing is strong. The game gets to the point and doesn’t waste time. It kept me engaged all the way to the credits. What Held It Back:The biggest thing for me was how dark the game is. I get it, it fits the setting, but there were definitely moments where I just wanted a little more visibility.Some enemies feel overpowered at first, especially when you are forced into head-on fights. It gets better once you adjust, but it can be frustrating early. Graphics and Performance:Still holds up well. No complaints here. Honestly would probably look even better on a nicer setup. Final Thoughts:This is a really enjoyable game with a strong story, solid gameplay, and great pacing. I originally started Astro’s Playroom back in 2021 when I first got my PS5. At the time, I didn’t have high expectations. it was a free game, and honestly, it didn’t grab me during my first run through SSD Speedway.Fast forward to 2026, I decided to give it another shot… and I’m glad I did.This game completely surprised **** biggest thing that stood out is how well it showcases the DualSense controller. The haptic feedback is insane, and the way the game uses motion controls feels smooth and intentional. It’s not gimmicky, it actually enhances the experience.This is a game for anyone who just wants to have fun. If you’re looking for a sweaty, competitive experience, this isn’t that. This is relaxed, colorful, creative gameplay that introduces you to the PS5 while paying homage to previous PlayStation systems, accessories, and iconic characters.From start to finish, the game is FUN.I found myself smiling every time I entered a new level or discovered a hidden puzzle piece or artifact. My favorite part was easily the monkey suit. Climbing with it felt amazing. It was also one of the more frustrating parts at times, but even then, I was still enjoying **** presentation is **** music had me nodding along the entire time, and every level felt unique and creative. The jungle section stood out the most to me in terms of creativity, while Cool Springs was probably the most visually **** terms of difficulty, it’s very approachable. Casual players will have no problem enjoying this game. It’s short, but considering it’s free, that’s more than fair. I’m not usually a completionist, but this is one of those games where I might actually go back and collect everything just because it’s that enjoyable.Performance-wise, I didn’t notice any bugs or frame drops at all.More than anything, this game made me appreciate the DualSense controller in a way I didn’t think was possible. I FINALLY played this game from start to finish… and WOW. I was genuinely blown away.This doesn’t just feel like a game, it feels like a movie that deserves to be on the big **** gameplay is where it really shines. Combat is smooth, responsive, and just fun. The combos, gadgets, and movement all feel true to Spider-Man. The stealth missions actually have weight to them too, you feel the tension when you’re trying to stay **** swinging through the city? Every movement, every mission just feels better because of it. This is one of the best examples of what the PS5 controller can do.There’s also always something to do, and somehow it never gets **** I had to nitpick, the MJ and Miles Morales missions, while important for the story, can feel a bit clunky. Sneaking around Sable agents in places like the museum or Norman’s penthouse slows things down more than I’d like. And during stealth as Spider-Man, I wish the camera made it easier to quickly zip back up to high ground after a web **** honestly… that’s **** ending has me hyped to jump back into Spider-Man 2 and finally finish it—but first, I’m replaying Miles Morales to get the full story experience.
