If you’re a fan of Dying Light, then The Following is a near essential expansion.

The Following expansion pack is a fantastic, enjoyable addition to an already great game, you’ll bound not to find a dull moment within. By the end you’ll be wanting to do nothing more than get behind the wheel and creating chaos as you speed across the dirt roads, taking down zombies in a field of blood splattering glory.

Dying Light: The Following це приклад того, як треба робили DLC. Воно разом доповнює як і сюжет, так і геймплей.

An expansion pack that is more like a 2.0 version of the original Dying Light than a simple DLC. Much more varied, colorful & deep, and as crowded with zombies as the original game.

The Following is the definition of a true expansion with rich content and more gameplay from the core game Dying Light. The buggy is also an important addition with great fun-factor.

Dying Light: The following has great additions like sidequests system and Buggy mechanics. Stills first person adventure with survival elements, but it's more solid and fun than de original game. However, has some AI enemy issues and lack of parkour mechanic.

The Following, a big expansion to Dying Light, is a quite interesting game that will make some fall in love with it, and some will be left with a bad taste in their mouths. The story is more interesting, character development - deeper and driving the buggy is extremely fun. Unfortunately The Following makes parkour almost redundant and changes the unique gameplay model. There are good parts, there are bad parts, but all in all Dying Light looks more like Far Cry than ever before.

Just like the original Dying Light, nothing works quite as well as it should and although there are some interesting new ideas here none of them are realised without significant flaws.

Ana oyuna nazaran çok iyiydi. Ana oyundaki bir çok beğenmedim şeyi düzeltmişler. Örneğin yan görevler boş ve birbirini tekrar eden nitelikte değiller artık, araba çok iyi vın vın gidiyorsun. Ana hikayenin hikayesi iyi. Oynanır kesinlikle iyi.

The buggy and new map is a bold attempt to deviate from Dying Light's original cramped level design and parkour gameplay. But the annoying, endless need to drive in The Following's flat open world and its repetitive, uneventful fetch quests while each quest marker are light years from each other killed the game for me. The game started to feel like a chore, so I left it unopened for a few months before I uninstalled it, essentially *driving* me to watch the endings on YouTube. If you liked the core game, it's hard to guarantee the same for this one.

Poor man's far cry. It is now at countryside. Which eliminates the game's original idea because there is not much parkour to do. You got **** that is the only vehicle you get. Car handling is not bad I'll give you that. You go everywhere with buggy and it becomes tedious because most missions require you to go other side of the map. No hang glider, parachute or wingusuit. Why only stick to one vehicle? Virals are even worse in this. They spawn everywhere everytime. You move one feet virals spawn, you repair your weapon virals spawn, you blink virals spawn, you exist virals spawn. Below average dlc and it doesn't worth playing. You can have more fun with far cry.
