Even with these improvements, it's held back by n incredibly small game world that too frequently revisits its few sets, and makes being stuck in the '20's for a second episode monotonous. [July 2011, p.77]

Second time's a bit more of a charm, although the classic adventure style still isn't the perfect fit for Marty and Doc. [May 2011, p.86]

"Episode 2: Get Tannen!" of Back to the Future: The Game continues the typical yet captivating story that the first episode also had. It flawlessly employs the concept of altering the past to create a ripple effect in the present and future, delving into the intriguing realm of chaos theory and its consequences. Once again, the game delivers an exceptional experience, living up to the high standards set by its predecessor. In this second installment, the adventure is just as enthralling as the first one, if not more so. I found myself completely engrossed in the narrative, eagerly immersing myself in the time-traveling escapades that have come to define Back to the Future. The concept of repairing events in the past, only to witness the unexpected repercussions in the present and future, is brilliantly executed. The storyline maintains the remarkable quality and charm that made the first episode so enjoyable. It retains the spirit of Back to the Future while introducing fresh twists and engaging plot developments that keep players on their toes. The writing remains top-notch, delivering witty humor and heartwarming interactions between characters that continue to endear them to players. Additionally, the puzzles and gameplay in "Episode 2: Get Tannen!" are equally enjoyable. The game strikes the perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment, with puzzles that require genuine problem-solving skills, enhancing the overall gaming experience. All in all, this episode is a testament to the game's ability to consistently deliver a first-rate adventure. It remains true to the essence of Back to the Future's narrative, and its exploration of chaos theory and the intricacies of time travel continue to captivate players like myself. "Episode 2: Get Tannen!" is outstanding, and if you enjoyed the first episode, you'll undoubtedly find this one to be just as great, if not greater!

Schöne Grafik, eine sehr spannende Geschichte, auch für nicht Physik-Fans und super vertont! Ich mag die Charaktere jetzt sogar richtig.

If you're a BTTF junkie, it's a must have. It has the same flavour as the movies, even that little things. The story is fun but the puzzles are rather easy. Just enjoy the ride.

The second episode of this clever adventure series is even better than the first.

The second chapter in TellTale's Back to the Future series improves the previous one in several aspects. However, it's still extremely short and a rather easy game, so it's far from what we expected.

The second episode of the Back to the Future series by Telltale is sure to please the fans with its great story and characters. Unfortunately the puzzles don't get much better and, even if the script is great, you gotta offer some brain teaser to gamers in order to keep 'em interested. It's still a good way to spend three good hours.

The only thing we may grant this Back to the Future is its consistency in terms of mediocrity. As time passes by, I'm losing faster and faster any hope to see Telltale getting back on the right tracks. Afterall, the game does very well commercially, so why change it? Bad or not, the most important for the publisher, it's the sales. Sad, sad, market laws.

This is my favorite episode. Voice acting draws us into the game nicely. Again, I feel its more like interactive cinema. Camera is a bit annoying when walking through town. Kinda wish there was more to the game though, but that's only speaking as a fan of the movies.

The second episodic entry into the BTTF series of games makes a improvement over its predecessor; slightly a small, modest one. Although I found this "chapter" to be shorter than the first that might simply be because I enjoyed it more. The plot felt less linear and gave players better dialog options and a crispier storyline to immerse themselves in. That was much appreciated. Whilst the locations didn't change to a large degree the atmosphere in a night time setting felt real and genuine. Character development needs to be further explored though.

Second episode is as easy as first one was. It does not present enough challenge. But, I quite liked how the story continued and I'm generally happy that I can see heroes of my youth again.
SummaryIn Episode 2, Marty and Doc must prevent his girlfriend from being ereased in the future.
