An outstanding adventure game. The story is engrossing and authentic. While quite linear, it is very well told, and it almost feels like you are watching a movie where you play the lead role.

Needless to say, this type of gameplay is hardly challenging, thought provoking, or enjoyable, for most serious gamers. However, what Broken Sword does do is very polished and offers a slick level of gameplay for the occasional gamer used to solitaire and minesweeper.

A fairytale comeback. Extravagance was one of the signatures of the graphic adventure: extravagance to bring them in, and a cracking story well told to keep them. Both tenets of the Broken Sword series remain intact here, and that's all the devoted fans could have wanted. [Christmas 2003, p.94]

Not nearly as bad as expected! Story is very strong and solid. Characters come out very nicely as well. The only reason why I can't give this one an 8 is because I have to deduct points for the gameplay. As I do understand during that era each and every game "HAD TO" go 3D, but still that needs to cost points because it's frustrating, especially in the beginning. Once used to it, it becomes bearable. Overall just a very good Broken Sword game, enjoyed playing it,despite the controls and 3D misser.

I don't get why people are complaining about the control schemes. This game was designed to be multi-platform (Playstation first), so you need to play it with a game controller, not with keyboard and mouse like the previous entries, then it works totally fine. Great game, my second favorite in the series after SotT: great characters, great story, great locations and puzzles. The sprawling crate puzzles are annoying af though.

A great franchise ruined by a terrible control scheme. It's as if they were so determined to copy the Monkey Island series that they copied the worst thing about the worst episode in that series. Skip this game and play the rest in the Broken Sword franchise.

Have you ever played a game that's so good that the simple knowledge of its existence is enough to put a smile on your face? This is one of those games. Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon is a shining example of what this genre is capable of, and it comes as close to perfection as any recent adventure game has.

A must have for anyone that is looking for an engrossing story or adventure and wants a change of pace from mainstream gaming genres.

Продолжение второй части оказалось также на высоте, геймплей невероятный, история затягивает и не отпускает до финальных титров, головоломки простые, но иногда требуют время для разгадки. Если вы не играли, то стоит наверстать упущенное время. 10/10

It's an memorable game, with beautiful graphic's, well-written dialouges and a grabbing story. The story-telling is pretty good, it's never boring! Just cool. I also love the kind of humor George and Nicole has! Likeable guys :-)

The graphics are first rate, the dialogue was tight and witty, and most importantly, the story is fantastic and the game plays out like a well written book.

George’s finely crafted witticisms and Nico’s finely crafted, er, investigative skills make the game a pleasure to play; moreover, the plot is engrossing and really pushes you to keep gaming in an effort to uncover more of the nefarious scheme being perpetrated.

Dynamic plot twists and cut-scenes flow through every exotic locale, and the later-game mechanical conundrums are worthy of the Broken Sword series. [Feb 2004, p.86]

Good but not great, it's sweetly bland adventure porridge. [Feb 2004, p.79]

Many of the puzzles are somewhat straightforward in design, and while ensuring players are less likely to hit those infuriating brick walls typically found in the genre's great titles, your input into the proceedings once again tends to feel slightly shallow and less rewarding than before. The story, voice acting, dialogue, and lovable characters make you forgive the "eeh" controls. While the box puzzles are repetitive, the others are very clever. One of the best adventures ever.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It may actually have the best story in the series, but the abundance and preponderance of block puzzles, plus the control scheme keep it from achieving greatness

The game still looks pretty good in 2021, but a camera movement and controlling of characters killed all enjoyment of the game. If you REALLY feel, you need to experience a story of George and Nico, be prepared that from time to time you will start hate yourself for playing this part of Broken Sword. The only thing what pushed me to finish it was a need of the feeling of the completion, but in the end it wasn't that sweet as I suppose it would be
