I tried playing this game on PC and really the vision was a problem so I got it on console so I could play it on the big TV. Thinking that would make a difference in the face that I thought the game stunk. Well, it didn't make much of a difference. After about 15 hours on PC and console I've killed a total of 3 does, one coyote, and two rabbits. Now you might wonder, how did I get the Expert Marksman achievement very early in the game. Because I shot a lot of stuff! They just wouldn't die. I shot many, many animals. When I found the blood trails, it would always, always say very light bleeding. LIke clockwork. They just wouldn't go down. So I went on Youtube to watch tutorials. And I bought a DLC just to get the 30. 06 rifle. And loaded it with hollow points. And I still couldn't bring a moose down! I shot one square middle and it wouldn't go down. Blood yeah. Kill no. And tracking wounded animals in this game is futile. They never stop moving, they never bleed out and you will never see them. In that tutorial the guy was spotting all these animals, and I wondered, how is he doing that? He was showing large herds of deer with multiple bucks. Higher level animals. I never saw any of that. No large group of deer. Not ever. And the tutorial instructor said the animals are really not that skittish. Are you kidding me? They're skittish as hell. I want a hunting game in which you are actually allowed to kill the game if you watch the wind and crouch like I did. I used prone, I used cover, I don't know what else I can do but quit. I can't believe I wasted my money on this. I should have seen a red flag when all the PC game commentators who rave about this game say in a chorus "If you have a lot of patience." Patience, right. A huge, huge ton of patience. The kind you need to walk around the woods holding your controller for 4 hours with out being able to harvest an animal. The hunting in Red Dead Redemption 2 was too easy and the hunting in this game is far too hard. They needed an easy mode in this game that provided more animals. Having no easy, regular, and hard mode system was really stupid. Many, many people will quit this game in the first two or three hours. And the controls! Why do they have that stupid camera function cluttering it up? It's hard to toggle through from binoculars to your rifle in quick fashion. Many times animals got away because I couldn't toggle in time. And what about the calling? I called and called and think maybe a bear one time came. The deer, moose, and rabbits completely ignored calls. I decided to throw in the towel on this one and eat the $35 when I shot a moose right between the eyes at 30 meters with a hollow point from my 30.06 and it ran away. And had "light bleeding."

This game had so much positives from critics that I gave it a whirl. I haven't gotten to the multiplayer yet and I don't think I will because I think the weapons and gun play in this game kind of ****. I got the Revolution version on Ebay for $10. Glad I didn't pay any more because the game is disappointing. The lavish backgrounds and graphics are meaningless if the game play is stupid. There's no strategy and the maps are highly restrictive. It's basically straight at your opponents up the gut. Only in stupid zombie games and Call of Duty do you see maps more restrictive as to where yo can move. And the gun play is ridiculous. You can only pick up certain enemy weapons. You run out of ammunition easily because even on Easy setting you some times must shoot an enemy 5 times to bring them down. The two sniper rifles I've seen so far are garbage. With one of the sniper rifles II shot an enemy in the chest with with open sights from about 20 feet away. And he didn't go down. Whether or not you get kills seems to be completely haphazard. I'll shoot a guy like 9 times with a rifle and he won't go down. Then I'll get 4 one-shot kills in a row from about the same range. I'll shoot directly at an enemy's chest and he won't go down. But then I'll just aim in the general direction of another enemy and he goes down right away. It makes no sense. There are explosions going on all around you with no indication of where the fire is coming from. I was hoping for a more realistic shooter. If you want satisfying gun play try Sniper Elite 4. The multi-player is really stupid but the campaign and co-op are great. And where's the co-op in Battlefield 1? Oh, that's right. No co-op. Most people will play this game for a little while and then quit. I finished my first campaign section and said to myself, is that it? Really, that's it? It lasted like 30 minutes or less. That means you can probably finish all of the campaign sections in several hours. Pretty content, but not much of it. Critics talk about how great the campaigns are but don't mention that they are so brief. No wonder EA started giving this game away. Shallow eye candy is a good description.

The menus are far too complicated and confusing and the distances you must travel between objectives is ridiculous. I was going through the various menus and kept saying "Really? Did they really need to make it this complicated? The base Erewhon is so cluttered I got lost just wandering around it. Couldn't find the way out to begin a mission. When I finally got a mission loaded I had to fly a helicopter for what seemed like forever to get to the objective. It takes so long to get there you can fall asleep. Although you will find yourself way outnumbered your enemies are ludicrously easy to kill. The firearms really don't have the feel and sound that a gun should. I feel like I'm shooting a pea shooter when I'm blasting with an SMG. It took some looking around for me to finally figure out how to equip a weapon other than a pistol because they don't make it hardly obvious in how to weapon select. Not like in other games. This one had to be different.. The combat is about as stupid as it gets as AI enemies are laughable. The graphics textures are too soft for what is supposed to be an advanced shooter. Absolutely everything is in dark shades. There's no color at all. It's like it's made for people who are color blind. The mountainous terrain really becomes annoying because you constantly find yourself sliding down hills . There's nothing but mountains in this game. Also, you cannot pick up and use captured weapons from dead enemies. And that's just bogus. it's also too easy to run out of ammunition. Anyone thinking about buying this game and want a good shooter? Buy Far Cry 5 or Sniper Elite 4 instead. Those games make this one look like garbage.

I'm a tough critic and highly recommend this fine shooter. Great fun getting that extra long shot, setting up booby traps for multi-kills, or ambushing and mowing down entire squads with SMG fire. You also get to blow up a lot of stuff. You can do suppressed fire kills for stealth or go loud and open up. There are different types of rifles to master. You might choose a bolt-action or a semi-automatic. There can also be a lot of pistol action. Shotgun action and achievements are available but I never pursued shotgun kills. I preferred the powerful Nagant revolver or TT-33 pistol or the FNAB for close work. All of the firearms can be enhanced as you upgrade them with successful use. There is a considerable amount of DLC available with this title including more guns, skins and four additional missions. The DLC is still pricey for Xbox One. You'll still pay $6 or $7 each for the additional missions and Gun/Skin packages. And not all of the skins are useable for Single Player. From Steam for PC you can get all of the DLC for one cheap price.

The game just seems empty, dull and bland. It's basically go to this location, kill everything there and take article A. And go around looking for loot. Especially ammunition. That's it. That's the whole game. It's a bad shooter trying to be an RPG. And the shooting action? It just seems slower than other games. For example I've been playing shooters in which your character really has fast reaction times. With Fallout 4 it feels like your character's reflexes are moving slowly like he's underwater. It just doesn't feel responsive and quick. The shooting action and movement seems lethargic. I realized early on that I wasn't going to like this game when I shot a raider four times in the chest at point blank range with a 10MM pistol. And he wouldn't go down. Your enemies are always stronger than you and they are bullet cushions. Ammunition is always in short supply because only head shots will bring them down. So you'll spend a great deal of your time just looking for ammo. Also, what passes for a weapons wheel isn't a wheel at all. You're instructed to pick up a laser cannon to defend the museum but it doesn't show up on the weapon selection when you do. A weapon selection wheel is supposed to show all of your inventory. Every other modern game has a detailed weapon wheel. But not Fallout 4. And every other modern game on Xbox One has the "B" button designated as "crouch." Not Fallout 4. As such the controls are unfamiliar and clunky. The controls and menus differ so far from other games as to be alien. I can usually go from one developer's games to another and have familiar or same control functions. Just bringing up menus with Fallout 4 is clunky.

I was a big fan of Ace Combat 6 on Xbox 360. That was a great game. But I'm highly disappointed with Ace Combat 7. Why? Targets are not locking on with radar like they did in Ace Combat 6. I had no problem with air combat because I was good at air combat in the last installment. But I was flying practically right on top of ground targets before they would light up and then I would zoom past them with out a hit. Some times I'd fly right over them and they wouldn't light up at all. I couldn't get them. In the older game I definitely remember targets lighting up without having to be right on top of them. What happened? I started basically trying to hit targets with out radar assistance. I could hit some of them only. I also notice that cannon ammunition is ridiculously limited. Definitely not enough for close combat in a lengthy engagement. You will run out of bullets every time and you'll run out quickly. I guess Bandai didn't want people doing a lot of close combat in this game. Because they won't give you ammo. I got a lot of close combat kills in Ace Combat 6. I found them instrumental in winning missions. You won't get those in this game.

Despite taking the lower of the two-tier difficulty settings I was completely unable to win a fist fight in in this game. And I found out that if you die, that's it. No re-spawning. You're dead, game over. That's enough to turn anyone off right there. I'm glad I tested it by picking a fight with a soldier. I though, wow! Death is final in this game. Do not pass go. And then I thought, A game with combat in which death is completely final? You've got to be kidding me! Imagine playing an RPG for 200 hours and then completely losing all your progress just because you die. That's really bogus. The objectives are not focused. You're given multiple objectives in a single quest with some of them not even related. Which is annoying and confusing and makes little sense. The compass guide is confusing. If the objectives are coded in alphabetical order, why am I able to access the characters and situations out of order? Why not code Objective A to be accomplished first before Objective B even opens up? As far as I am concerned none of the other objectives should even be crowding the compass menu until the first objective is accomplished. We don't need all the letters showing up and it just confuses the issue and kind of interferes with you visually trying to reach your objectives. Many players would certainly be as confused as hell as to what they are actually supposed to do. I also found very annoying the constant multiple choice decision prompts. I really don't want to be making decisions like that every step along the way. You keep wondering if you made the right one or if you have now completely ruined your game. I'd rather not have that many choices. And I don't think it is really necessary to constantly present so many choice menus like that. I mean, they're constant. You're constantly being prompted to make various decisions. Annoying as hell. In summation I would call this game extremely annoying and don't recommend it to anyone. Nobody wants an RPG in which death is final and makes you start all over again. I notice those giving positive reviews never mention the sudden death thing. I'm giving it a "1" for passable animation and graphics. But the graphics are not exactly up to modern standards. The people don't look quite as realistic as in other games released in the last several years. There are games of the same age that have much better graphics. RDR2's graphics make this game look sick.

Games like this remind me of the great advantages of Xbox Game Pass with Gold. I just picked it up for 15 bucks for the first three months (returning player). Now it's no big deal when I try a stinker like this. There are other zombie killing games that are SO much better. I played this for about 15 minutes before I quit and uninstalled the game. The terrain and backdrop are so cluttered you get claustrophobia. And this is supposed to be outdoors. You're walled in by buildings, hedges, and fences everywhere. And there is no freedom of movement or alternate routes to destinations. It's one route only for missions. If they wanted to do this they might as well be in a bunker or a dungeon like DOOM. You're in a maze all the time. The zombies are easy to kill but the weapons stink and are fragile. And very limited. In the early game they expect you to fight hordes of zombies with a pipe, an oar, a broomstick or a knife. Only the pipe is effective and the weapons degrade quickly. I got through the first couple segments mainly by running (if you stand and fight you die) and kept saying out loud to myself "Where's my gun?" I'm supposed to fight zombies with out a gun? Also, you're encouraged to loot but I don't see where the loot is useful in any meaningfull way. Med kits and weapons are what I'm interested in. But you won't find either in any suitcase. I don't where they're hiding the weapons, but I couldn't find them. I opened every suitcase. Oh, you get $9. BFD. At least give me a bow and arrow or an effective spear or club if you won't let me have a gun. Sorry, there are other games that allow you to have firearms and effective weapons.. I'll go play those.

Rarely have I seen an Xbox game with clunkier control functions. Are developers actually still using pie menus in their games? I haven['t seen that for awhile because I don't ordinarily play games that look like they're 20 years old. This game forces you to operate the two toggles simultaneously while switching back and forth between two competing pie menus that are on two different sides of the screen. So your eyes have to go back and forth to see which of the 8 functions you need to deploy to make the bucket on the backhoe go the right direction. Instead of being able to keep your eyes focused on one menu. Which is an asinine set-up. The equipment control functions should all be on one menu. The buttons and triggers are way under-utilized and that's one of the biggest give-aways that this game was not meant for console and was adapted. It may work on phone and PC, but don't waste your money on the console version. You'll be cussing up a storm just trying to dig your first hole. The controls are really that bad.

This is a review of the game from some one who has done about 400 hours on Farming Simulator 17 and now about 20 hours on Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition on XBox One platform. My take right now is that 17 was more fun. I'd say it's unlikely I'll ever build anything on 19 like the spectacular operations I've put together on 17. One of the things that made 17 enjoyable was the wide variety of mods that made tedious elements of the game more bearable. The 64,000 liter feed mixer for one is missing from 19 and there's little likelihood that I'll even bother to raise cattle with out it. Because with the 32K liter mixer and a herd of 500 cattle you'll sit down to play your game and each and every time spend about 2 hours doing nothing but mixing feed. It really gets old. I could get by with less cattle but i play these sims to stretch the limits of the agriculture. How much livestock can all the fields support? If I can't have a huge herd I don't want to build one at all. The cattle also require a great deal of hay, straw and grass. In 17 great mods exist for building high-capacity silos to store anything but silage. And you don't really need the modded silos for silage because you're allowed to place bunker silos for that. But in 19 there is absolutely no way to store grass except by dumping it out on the ground. Horses are welcome but to get the full value of selling them you have to ride, groom, and feed each one. Not the market scenario I wanted. And not a realistic one. Essentially 19 has taken out of the game things that made the game somewhat easier. In that way they have answered critics who said 17 was too easy and it is getting back to basics. But it also removed some of the fun from the experience. The BSM 70,000 liter tipper mod is gone, but there's an even larger tipper available standard now at 770000. Which is welcome. Unfortunately, the Krone Big M500 Mower is missing. Another reason why I won't even try to raise cattle in Farming Simulator 19. The John Deere equipment is welcome. But you'd expect their harvester to be the best. It's not. I haven't been able to check out their Cotton package yet. There seems to be more credit at the bank in Farming Simulator 19. I've already borrowed 375K and I don't think I'm tapped out yet. I've taken the starting position in 19 where you have some buildings and several tiny fields. One of the first things I put together was a logging outfit with the Fliegl trailer. Because timber was an important part of my early game in 17. But 19 is not friendly to timber. The log hook for tractor is horrible but with practice you can make it work for you. The double hook mod is not available in 19. You can only cut trees near your property and there is no abundance of nice, tall pines to cut. Instead, there are nuisance trees that grow in gnarled shapes and are difficult and cumbersome to remove. But an opportunity exists to greatly expand your fields from this starting position by getting a plow and carving them out. I was able to double the size of Field 19 and so it is satisfying in a tougher game to be carving something out from scratch. Disappointing is that the payout for timber in 19 is only about 50% of what it was in 17. It's not a profitable activity unless you plant new trees yourself. It took me 12 hours of game play just to remove those big, gnarled trees. And I only got about $60,000 in timber income after clearing the field extensions. It was a pathetic pay-out for all that work. Really the only reason to own a logging operation in the game is to clear lands for development.. Contract work in 17 was lucrative and was also an important part of my early game. I won't be doing a single lick of contract work in 19 because it just doesn't pay enough. When I harvested the largest field for another farmer in 17 I got a $100K pay check with bonus. In 19 the largest contract I'm being offered is $30,000 and almost all the other pay outs are far less than that. And now you must not only do the harvesting but deliver the goods. If you've done root crops in previous installments you must know just how ridiculous that requirement is. I'm not delivering root crops for anyone.. There is also a glitch in the game where you can make an error and not get paid for your work because of a delivery problem. The AI will say with a prompt that crops are missing so you don't get paid. So working for other farmers in 19? Do yourself a favor and forget it. Work on your own farm. There is opportunity for joining fields in 19 but the developers saw fit to make the largest desirable fields into weird oblong shapes. Perhaps they've fixed the bug but in 17 AI helpers struggle with any field not shaped in a perfect rectangle or square. In 17 the large fields met that requirement. Not so in 19.

I've got about 100 hours in the ONline PC game. Single player didn't hold my interest. Bought the game on Steam with the Criminal Enterprise Pack for $22 including tax. I use a Logitech controller. Yes, I've spotted some modding but I don't see it as much of a problem. You just change sessions. There were some weird explosive traps being set by modders. they're hard to catch but they quickly ban money cheaters. THEY catch them. One modder trap had me caught inside a cage. The main problem I had with the game was how it requires a ton of in-game cash to purchase stuff. If you're not willing to put your own cash into the game it's tough even with the million dollar start I got with my pack. That pack gave me a lot of cars I never use. I use motorcycles unless I absolutely have to use something else. The Zombie Choppers are dogs. I ride the Pegasus Vortex, which has the quickest acceleration rating possible. But the Criminal Enterprise Pack gave an MC clubhouse and a Counterfeit operation. Making it well worth it. The bunker isn't useful for a beginning player and neither is the business office. PEople call playing the game "The Grind." Which is grinding for cash. You're constantly grinding. Now "Grind" sounds too much like work. And it is work. I play game for relaxation. I really don't want that much work because working so hard on a game is not fun. There can be unfair glitches and bugs that take away your hard work. I had my counterfeiting operation stocked with cash. AI people came in and stole it. I had worked hard for like 6 hours to build my stock. And they just took it away. It's the kind of thing that makes people quit a game. But somebody has given me some pointers to help me reduce my frustrating work load in this game and I'll roll with it for awhile. But I may be done soon. Because of the repetition. it's the same missions over and over again. There are about 6 or 7 total "Steal Supplies" missions. And they can be excruciating. I was advised to just buy supplies and save myself the trouble. The missions where you report to icons on the map are also highly repetitive. These are the ones in which you play with others against the AI. It's the same missions over and over again. When you sell your illegal products you are often expected to take agonizingly slow trucks on long routes over mountains to make 5 delivery stops all over the huge map. You have a time limit. It takes seemingly forever. And all that time the game has your vehicle highlighted in red for players to attack for cash and bonuses. They blow you up, you never finish your deliveries, and you lose your stock. Again, ruining a lot of hard work. There is a flying bike (oppressor) that is so powerful it shouldn't be in the game. it can hover silently near you, you'll look up in time to see it blast you. People whip out their credit cards and win the arms race before you can even get started. There is passive mode but you can't do business in that mode. Anyone thinking about buying this game should know it has spectacular action and a large variety of vehicles and business opportunities. But to build anything significant is going to require about 1000 hours of game play. And that's on the low end of what some people do. I saw a player with Rank 1800. I estimate that to require around 25,000 hours of game play. People play it for 5 years. it's a game for the long haul. You won't advance quickly. You must "grind" for a long, long time.

Imagine my disgust after just buying a game and being unable to complete the first mission. After many tries I just gave up. And I'm a veteran gamer. I've played a lot of shooters. There must be something wrong. I didn't try the hard setting, just normal and couldn't get past it. The truck keeps over-turning, presumable from taking fire from a thousand different directions and being unable to even bring cross-hairs on any of them for a split second. All you can do is fire wildly at your pursuers and hope you hit them. Because your vehicle is going up and down over obstacles and the tail-end of your own vehicle keeps getting in your line of fire as your idiot driver takes you through ravines and ditches. I fired a full burst into the windshield of a pursuer and they kept coming. The gun you're given for the mission is largely ineffective against moving targets and has a agonizingly slow re-load. During a single re-load an enemy truck is able to close the gap on you and pour bullets into you before you can even fire. The gun also bucks up hard during firing, making it extremely difficult to keep the cross-hairs on targets. Because the sequence and all the principals are moving fast and all at once, aiming with the crosshairs is useless. You just shoot in the general direction of enemies and hope you hit them. Because they've made aiming so difficult you're likely to hit only a couple of them before they kill you. And if you take out one truck, two more spawn to take their place. I didn't even get past the first part of the first mission. I'm told it gets even harder. They should warn people before they buy these games that the difficulty level is extreme. Why do they want to discourage people right at the beginning of the game by making the first mission impossible? Don't they realize people will quit?

If you can get past the negatives you will have many hours of good entertainment. The best part of this game is that there is so much to do. You can choose to run through the main missions or embark on the many challenges and achievements . The graphics are incredible and the map is huge. There are many things to find and plunder on the map. There might be something valuable in every structure. A hidden cubby hole might have $100 worth of stuff in it. Early in Chapter 2 I had explored and plundered about every corner of the map. I was careful to loot every dead body. Occasionally that caused me to lose missions but my wallet was always fat. Arthur's stuff was all pimped out. When you complete the main story line there are still things to do. Bounties, achievements, legendary animals if you haven't collected them. The first game's map enables in the Epilogue. I don't know what's on it yet. Some people criticized activities that are not mandatory. Clothing? Didn't bother with it. Gaming? I consider the games stupid and tedious. Treasure-hunting? It's not as easy as in the first game. I got tired of falling to my death and went to Youtube. A big negative is lack of fast-travel options and fast-travel to self-marked vicinity as in the first game. Travel was limited to named destinations. Also, path-finding issues and other technical glitches. Characters getting stuck forced abandonment of missions. Charles won't put the body in the wagon and just stands there, etc. Rains Fall knocks Charles off his horse so you lose the mission, etc. Because Charles won't re-mount. Control/button issues where the option won't function. Often you have to jiggle stuff and move around to get buttons to function and game play to proceed. That wasn't just occasional-that was prevalent. One time I got Charles unstuck by running into him. You can accidentally bump some one with your horse in town and suddenly have the entire town shooting at you. And then owe a bounty if you escape. It interrupts what you're trying to do. You will spend a lot on bounties in this game unless you want a constant price on your head. You can lose missions in a hundred different ways. Some times by following confusing or untimely AI instructions. I found that it was important not to mess with the controls until dialogue finished because it could cause a problem. Some times you can skip useless dialogue. Too often they won't allow it. Cut-aways can interfere with the flow of the action. Right at the end of the main story the audio started acting up. Sounds like hoofbeats and the whistle disappeared. Segments of dialogue became inaudible. This continued in the Epilogue. The gun play seemed to be clumsier than the first game and the Dead Eye less accurate. Dead eye marking was definitely made harder. Annoying to shoot people in the head at close range and having them get up again. Or when some one survives being shot in the middle of the chest or back with a high-powered rifle. I think it was taking 5 shots with the Mauser to drop some people. The AI characters really are stupid and easy to kill if you take your time. The only thing they have in their favor is surprise. Your character will always have superior firepower. If you were any good with your shooting in the first game killing your opponents in this game will be a piece of cake. Perhaps too easy.

This beautifully constructed game may actually be receiving lower average user ratings than what it should simply because, whether stated or not, the extremely high difficulty level, deep complexity, frighteningly steep learning curve, and slow-as-molasses game development wear entirely on their nerves. This is a game so exceedingly difficult to beat that users have practically been weeping online about their being unable to win with any strategy they employ. The secret is that you must study the game like you're taking a college course. It takes many hours of study and play experience to even have a chance to win. Because if you don't play the first 20 turns exactly perfectly, you will lose. You won't find out it's hopeless and that you've blown the game until later and you've wasted your time by making those early mistakes. There is zero margin for error or one single bad decision in those first 20. The game really is that hard. First I played the game with cheats to see what it had. I never finished a game with cheats, just took a look. Then I played the game with out cheats and got crushed. Then I got crushed again. And again. Now I've watched about 6 hours of online tutorials and I'm typing notes that now have escalated into four typed pages. I have a few more hours of tutorials to watch before I attempt once again to play. Even after all this studying, the game is so hard that I still don't have the confidence that I can stay out ahead of the AI. The AI opponents are incredibly aggressive even on Normal setting. If you don't watch your diplomacy, you'll have all of them attacking you at once. They won't attack each other. Just you. And then there's little to no hope. As far as trying an Insane map Ascension Victory? You might need to invest 300 hours to finish that single campaign. And regrettably you'll know you've won long before you see the victory screen. Ditto with the Conquest Victory. People are saying leave all Victory conditions enabled. Research victories can also take a long time, but if you're trying a Conquest Victory on one of the bigger maps, you'd better have about two weeks on your hands with nothing else to do but play GCIII. Not a bad vacation, in my book. Get in some food, get some of the green stuff, and kick back in your recliner in front of your PC.

Don't buy it new like I did. The game's only bright spots are the scenery. The DFM (dog fighting mode) ruined this game's potential. I had the DLC come with my copy. So in the very first mission it's announced that my missiles won't work against Ace pilots. What good are the over 300 missiles I'm carrying if they won't bring down a target? Then the AI sends a bunch of enemy "Ace" pilots. What you must do is get as close as possible to enemy planes from behind and you'll see a blue square light up and "RB and LB" on your enemy's wings (after locking on your targeting) You must quickly (very quickly) press LB and RB simultaneously to enter "DFM" mode. Then it's basically like an arcade mini-game where it's easy to blast the enemy out of the sky with missiles or your machine gun. But up until then you may pass by the same enemy plane 5 times before you can get the DFM to kick in. As you're coming up from behind they'll go very low to try to get you to crash. Even though you're really close to the surface, they still duck under you. They're so fast they can do a hairpin U- turn under you at 200 feet altitude while going 1000 mph. Like they switch instantly into reverse in mid-air with out losing speed. So the game is incredibly monotonous. You chase bogies around trying to get the DFM to light up. It becomes ultra-tiresome. The monotony especially stings because the missions go on for seemingly ever. The aircraft repairs itself while in the air. You're more likely to crash into the ocean in this game than be destroyed by enemy aircraft. I loved Ace Combat 6. Compared to that, this game is a disgrace.
