Positively brimming with quantity, if not always quality, it struggles to find a fitting template to consistently showcase its strengths. [Apr 2017, p.92]

The game was a good one. Although the aiming system definitely has multiple bugs. Unlike Sniper Elite 3 where you can aim and shoot more arcade style, here even at the easiest dificulty (cadet) I noticed that the aiming was way too off. There were plenty of ocassions where the bullet should have hit but it doesn't (in cadet mode there's no ballistic mechanics - the bullet flies in a straight line). The story was good. The characters and acting was pretty impressive. The level designs were good initially. However, the last 3-4 levels were pretty annoying because you cannot see anything. Too much camouflauge. But the enemy can see you through the trees / bushes for some strange reason. Various places look very distinct like Italy and sycily islands (not sure if that's the correct spelling). The weapon upgrades were pretty much broken as well. You have to level up to earn a single token. Overall I got only 6-7 tokens in the game. And you can unlock weapons by consuming 3-5 tokens each. Which means in the entire game you're allowed to unlock only 1 or 2 weapons. That's ridiculous! Also the upgrade system was broken as well. The game plays very smooth however. The graphics are very well optimized. The character's controls respond very smooth and reliably as well. It was really fun to be running around and shooting. The last 3-4 level designs are pretty horrible though. It gets very difficult to snipe and you're often forced to get into close combat because of the way the levels are designed and where the enemies are placed. Quite unsatisfying. But overall a good experience.

Sniper Elite 4 is the best sniping game I’ve ever played, and is absolutely the high point of the series. This is a perfect example of what can be achieved if a developer understands what their game’s potential is, and never stops working towards it. Rebellion has made huge leaps forward with every new entry in this series, and they’ve finally reached a point where the results are flat-out incredible. I can only imagine the great things they’ll accomplish in the future.

A lot of games tout the ability to “play how you want to play,” but Sniper Elite 4’s missions and mechanics actually are robust enough to back up that claim. Picking apart the Nazi war machine piece by piece, using whatever plan comes to mind, is a blast. The way it encourages you to stay mindful, experiment, and get better is a refreshing vote of confidence, even if it doesn’t always reward the extra effort you’re putting in.

This is my favorite shooter ever. I just love the gameplay and all the different ways you can approach each mission. Killing **** will never not be awesome.

Sniper Elite 4 is much better than we expected, and not because we expected something mediocre, but because Rebellion has delivered a very-well executed adventure, very enjoyable and satisfying. We'd like some original additions and a better story, but that's pretty much it.

We Got This Covered
With a revamped stealth system, improved AI, and massive sandbox-style levels, Sniper Elite 4 is hands-down the best game in the series.

After a few main episodes and some zombie spin offs, Rebellion has got it and makes Sniper Elite 4 one of the best sniping/infiltration games around. It might even get some new players aboard the IP.

Easy Allies
Sniper Elite 4 is a game for stealth enthusiasts. Setting up the perfect kill from a huge distance after sneaking past a base full of Nazi soldiers feels rewarding and earned. However, the scenarios fall flat, and the scope of the game is fairly limited. Attempts to offer more options and extend its lifespan don’t really pay off, but it’s still satisfying to shoot someone’s eye out.

The best elite sniper ever made! Bullet cam occurs in all organs and parts of the body frequently For example, a shot in the leg will show the bullet going and piercing the bone, which rarely happens in other games. Melee has xray and every hit or shot is super satisfying.

Bom jogo. Não é cansativo. Dá para passar um tempo jogando e, como ele é razoavelmente curto, é bom de virar. Não tem lá uma boa história, nem ótimos gráficos, mas vale a pena.

Quite disappointing after a few hours of gameplay. The mechanics are a bit clunky on PS4. The story and the writing is really bad, you don't care about any of the characters in the game. Even though you're playing as a sniper, not enough good maps, interesting locations or ways to kill. Ending was anti climactic. Generally would not recommend as the game is quite boring, unless you're a hardcore fan.
