One of the best studio comedies of the past few years. Hilarious, and extremely entertaining, with a big heart, and great chemistry from 6 very funny leads. Hope it does well at the box office, don't believe the low score by audiences on here.

A Quiet Place7
Apr 10, 2018
an intense, well directed and shot, and emotionally effective horror movie. I have some issues with the third act and the characters make some dumb decisions, but I really liked this. Close to an 8

Flower6
Apr 10, 2018
enjoyed this quite a bit until the third act. particuarly the last 10-15 minutes. It's still an enjoyable movie with solid performances (notably Zoey Deutch), but I don't like the direction they ended up taking it in.

Isle of Dogs8
Mar 28, 2018
An immensely enjoyable new effort from Wes Anderson. The stop motion animation is beautiful, the cast is fantastic, the characters are likable, the score is just as wonderful as you'd expect, and it's full of Anderson's signature style and humor.

Unsane6
Mar 24, 2018
Can't quite get this to a 7 because of the many twists and false endings this has in the third act, but an interesting watch with a really good performance from Claire Foy. Don't see why it needed to be shot on an iPhone, though.
Mar 24, 2018
Sherlock Gnomes5
Mar 24, 2018
Very predictable and standard as far as kids movies go, but still completely harmless and watchable. Nothing worth trashing here except for a few cringy pop culture jokes.
Mar 24, 2018
Tomb Raider4
Mar 24, 2018
An incredibly monotonous, derivative, and stupid movie. It has some good performances (Alicia Vikander in particular) and a few intense action sequences but this was a big bore.
Mar 16, 2018
Love, Simon8
Mar 16, 2018
Such a charming, funny, and feel good coming-of-age movie with a really important message that I think everyone needs to hear. If you aren't touched at any point in this movie then you don't have a heart. Go see it
Mar 10, 2018
Thoroughbreds8
Mar 10, 2018
This was a lot better than I was expecting it to be. Genuinely really well directed, with an awesome score, awesome editing, writing, and terrific performances from Anya Taylor Joy, Anton Yelchin (RIP :/), and especially Olivia Cooke. A really good dark comedy
Mar 10, 2018
Gringo6
Mar 10, 2018
What's so bad about this? It's pretty messy and mean-spirited and it doesn't really have anything to make it memorable or great but it's still entertaining and has some really funny moments. I had a decent time watching it
Mar 10, 2018
The Strangers: Prey at Night3
Mar 10, 2018
How in the world does this have a 50 on here??? Terrible movie. The characters were SO dumb, like the dumbest characters I've seen in a movie in a while. Just such a cheap, conventional straight to DVD cash grab.
Mar 5, 2018
Death Wish6
Mar 5, 2018
This is as generic as an action movie could possibly get, and it probably wasn't released at the right point in time, but this still makes for an entertaining and surprisingly pretty fun time at the movies. It's far from being a great or even really good movie and it won't be remembered after a few months but there's nothing terrible about this.
Mar 5, 2018
Red Sparrow4
Mar 5, 2018
There's some solid performances and intense moments, but this is mostly just a messy, over-long, predictable, and over the top movie with very little to enjoy. I don't know was going through the screen-writers minds when they were writing this but they probably need some help...

The 15:17 to Paris5
Mar 5, 2018
I have so much respect for these guys, and the story is very heroic, but honestly aside from the train scene (which only takes up like 10 minutes) this story just isn't interesting enough to make for even a 90 minute movie. It has the best of intentions which is why I hate to say this is just bad

Game Night8
Feb 24, 2018
This is absolutely hilarious and such a fun time at the movies. The whole cast works great together and the twists are all so good. One of the best studio comedies of the past few years.
Feb 24, 2018
Mute4
Feb 24, 2018
I hate to say this is bad because 1) It's an original big budget movie, something we don't see enough of, and 2) this is the directors long time passion project, but it's such a missed opportunity.
Feb 24, 2018
The Ritual6
Feb 24, 2018
I mean this is better than most of the other Netflix originals. It's not original or even scary but the third act definitely had a pay off.
Feb 24, 2018
Annihilation5
Feb 24, 2018
I'm a film nerd but this is a poor man's Arrival. First two acts are solid but the third act ruins it, completely predictable and unoriginal reveal. No wonder why Paramount was scared about this...
Feb 20, 2018
Early Man6
Feb 20, 2018
It's pretty light and predictable for Aardman, but the beautiful animation, solid pacing, and a few really funny jokes/gags still make this a fun time at the movies.
Feb 16, 2018
Black Panther8
Feb 16, 2018
Solid movie that's further proof that Ryan Coogler is one of the best up and coming directors of today and that Michael B Jordan is a fantastic actor
Feb 10, 2018
Peter Rabbit7
Feb 10, 2018
A surprisingly hilarious, heart-warming, and charming time at the movies. While it's predictable, has been seen and done before, and there's a few points where it get's a bit too dark for a family movie, I had a really pleasant time and if you just want to laugh and have fun this is a great option.
Feb 10, 2018
When We First Met6
Feb 10, 2018
I might be biased because I really like the four leads in this, but I enjoyed this. The leads all share great chemistry, there's quite a few good laughs, and it has a big heart and the ending is sweet. No where near as bad as critics have been making it out to be.
Feb 10, 2018
The Cloverfield Paradox5
Feb 10, 2018
It works fine as a stand-alone sci-fi movie, but as a Clovefield movie it's very disappointing and the tie-ins don't make any sense. It's a shame because this starts out promising, there's some intense scenes, and the whole cast turns in solid work. It's one I like less the more I think about it.
Feb 10, 2018
Darkest Hour5
Feb 10, 2018
Gary Oldman gives a great performance, Lily James is also really good. The cinematography looks great and there's some funny humor sprinkled in throughout. But this movie is one only history fanatics will find interesting. I am not one of those people at all.
Jan 31, 2018
The Foreigner5
Jan 31, 2018
Honestly expected a lot more from this. It's not the Jackie Chan action movie it was marketed as, it's quite talky, there's action but it's all spaced out and doesn't last too long, and Pierce Brosnan has more screen-time than Chan does. Jackie Chan kills it and he makes it worth watching but otherwise it's just meh
Jan 31, 2018
Roman J. Israel, Esq.7
Jan 31, 2018
I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Denzel Washington gives an amazing performance, truly deserving of all the awards it's been nominated for, it's fast paced and very entertaining.
Jan 27, 2018
Maze Runner: The Death Cure7
Jan 27, 2018
A really well made, emotional, and satisfying closing to the series. The action is awesome, the cast and their chemistry is great, and it's 2 and a half hour run-time never feels excessive. Might be my favorite of the series, even.
Jan 24, 2018
Kingsman: The Secret Service9
Jan 24, 2018
One of the most bonkers, stylish, and fun spy/comic book movies I've ever seen. The church scene is an all-timer, and this is all around just so much fun and very clever.
Jan 24, 2018
Kingsman: The Golden Circle9
Jan 24, 2018
Really do not understand the hate for this one. I loved the first Kingsman, and this is a worthy, funny, and incredibly fun follow-up, even if it's not quite as tight as it's predecessor. The new characters are awesome, the returning ones are still cool as well, the action is amazing, and for a 2 and a half hour movie this flies by. Bring on Kingsman 3!
Jan 24, 2018
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle7
Jan 24, 2018
A really fun time at the movies that's a lot better than the first. The four leads are funny and work very well together, and it's overall just a really good and funny time.
Jan 24, 2018
The Greatest Showman7
Jan 24, 2018
Could've benefited from a more experienced director, but a great cast, amazing music, and well done musical numbers save this one. A pleasant time at the movies.
Jan 24, 2018
Pitch Perfect 35
Jan 24, 2018
An un-needed,uninspired, and dull cash-grab. The first two were fine, often pretty funny and the cast clearly wanted to be there and was having fun, here none of that is present. Super lazy and forgettable.
Jan 24, 2018
The Open House4
Jan 24, 2018
A decently entertaining first two acts are ruined by a terrible third act. It makes the whole movie pointless and everything is left unexplained and unanswered.
Jan 24, 2018
Father Figures6
Jan 24, 2018
Not as funny as it had potential to be, but this is still a pretty decent watch if you were to catch it for free on TV at some point. It's never boring and there's some good moments throughout.
Jan 24, 2018
All the Money in the World7
Jan 24, 2018
Think this story could've been told in a better, more interesting way, but what we get was solid enough and get's three really good performances out of Michelle Williams, Mark Wahlberg, and Christopher Plummer.
Jan 24, 2018
The Post5
Jan 24, 2018
Typical Spielberg. Doesn't do anything interesting with it's interesting and timely true story, and Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep sleepwalk their way through this for the most part.
Jan 24, 2018
Insidious: The Last Key5
Jan 24, 2018
Better than it has any right to be being a January horror movie, but unfortunately this is the weakest of the Insidious series as well. It's more of the same, nothing scary or memorable here.
Jan 24, 2018
Phantom Thread8
Jan 24, 2018
A beautifully made, masterfully scored, gorgeously shot, and outstandingly performed new effort from one of the greats, Paul Thomas Anderson. Daniel Dey Lewis gives an excellent performance, one that would be a great last if what's been said is true.
Jan 24, 2018
Paddington 28
Jan 24, 2018
Not quite as good as the first, but this is a delightful, sweet, funny and heart-warming follow-up that's great for the whole family. It's impossible not to like these movies.
Jan 24, 2018
The Commuter7
Jan 24, 2018
Not the strongest of the Neeson-Serra collaborations, but this is intense, unpredictable and a lot of fun and Liam Neeson gives yet another solid performance.
