Bleh. Think of the phrase ‘crappy Netflix horror film’ for a second. You’re thinking of the Open House. Even if you’ve never heard of the Open House, you’re still thinking of the Open House. The writing is bad and the plot stupid, uninspired and worse, boring. With the exception of Piercey Dalton as Naomi, the acting is bad, especially by the star, Dylan Minnette, of 13 Reasons Why fame. There are some nice shots, but this, like all of the positives in this film, is overshadowed by the overall experience which is that of boredom and little scares.

A cheap looking film that not only is boring, is completely devoid of suspense even though that is its demographic. Another cheap shot by Netflix, another crap film to its catalogue.
