Rise of the Ronin6
Apr 4, 2024
People **** on the graphics but I think it is not so bad. Don't get me wrong, it is very far from next-gen! The reason for my score is that I think the interaction between characters are not very good. The game wants you to like certain characters but it just doesn't work for me. I don't feel the chemistry. Faces are good, but the facial expressions are non-existent. I encountered only few bugs. The story for me is mid in a way that I didn't feel too much connected to the protagonist who was looking for their blade twin, even though they are messing with us the whole time. One of the endings is very lame and idealistic. We as the protagonist keep messing with all the other characters regardless of their side, and they still trust us for some reason, lol. Protagonist is the worst character, really. This is not a bad game, but it isn't worth the full price. I had a harsh review on Ghost of Tsushima, too, but after all this time and after Rise the of the Ronin, I think it was a better game.

FIFA had been the same for the last 15 years, why would EAFC be different? Made by one of the worst developers with microtransactions and money-grabbing in mind. Gameplay-wise it's very similar, nothing real innovation. In competitive,it's about abusing and "hacking" the game. Other modes are neglected as always even though they promised a new manager mode. They made some changes but they were so lazy that many of the screens are the same for years, and they haven't fixed bugs for years. They only update Rivals and **** out new cards for you to buy them.

I don't really know what to say. I played TLOU Remastered a couple of times, TLOUP2 is probably my favorite game ever because it put me on an emotional roller coaster. Whereas I admit TLOUP2 has problems, TLOU was already a perfect game, and now that the graphics and mechanics are improved, I have no words.

I'm aware this is not a fan favorite from the franchise, but after a slow start, it really grew on me. The story is like a soap opera, which is a bit too much, but we've met really interesting characters along the way, and at the end I really felt for the two kids. Lots of possible endings, too, and not really happy endings, it does move you and make you sad most of the times. I love the many choices that you can make throughout the game, which influence the outcome.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm8
Oct 24, 2023
This is what I wrote about this game in 2017: Very charming game with a lovely romantic story and some twists.
+ improved graphics
+ Chloe's new voice is actually very good
+ choices moved to WASD, which makes it better - considering it is only 3 (+1 deluxe) episodes to play, one episode is too short (3-hour long maybe). i would go for longer (3-4 hours) episodes or more. 5 episodes worked so well in LiS. it is set 3 years earlier than LiS, so the story has more potential. All in all: awesome as the original. Recommended. Based on this, I would give it the same rating, but honestly I remember very little from the story. LiS and LiS2 is burnt into my brain, this one is not really.

I remember starting the game in the evening and I couldn't put it down, I played all night and barely slept. Really awesome, engaging but shocking story! This is the kind of game that I can mention as an example that I feels like and interactive movie or series. Lots of gaps in the mechanic, not very intuitive, and the choices are quite limited compared to LiS2 or Detroit: Become Human. I still love the vibe, the music, and the characters.

Mafia III5
Oct 28, 2023
I'm rating this even if I haven't finished it. I haven't because it's very monotonous, all the quests are the same: kill everyone. Main quest, side quests. Some cool improvement in gameplay and mechanic, but it's not enough. I and II are better games, better atmosphere, too! This is just a GTA wannabe. Extra point for "All Along the Watchtowers".

Better installment than Fallen Order in every **** the time I got to play it, it was patched up, and I experienced much fewer bugs than those who played on day 1. I find it a bit unbalanced the first part being the longest and having the most puzzles. Next parts of the map are not so puzzly and some are very short. This game is a masterpiece. +++ Graphics, music, character designs, level design, weapons and abilities
+ We have side quests now and improvable weapons and abilities
+ We have real boss fights along with the escape scenes, although the escape sequences are much easier then in BF The story is just wonderful. It made me cry several times, and it hurts even to think about it. This game is an improvement in every aspect, all sequel must be like this. Highly recommended. It's become one of my favourite games.

I generally do not like JRPGs, I've tried P3P and P4G on PSP and PS Vita but they didn't click. I gave more time to P5, played at least 20 hours, and it's not bad, I rather enjoy it, but I don't think I will finish the game. My main problem is not with the text, but with the cringe dialogs. Japanese games make social interaction so out of this world that it gives me goosebumps. I give it a 7 because I don't think it's a bad game, but it's just not my cup of tea. Very nicely optimized, btw! Good work.

What is your plan, Peter? What are we doing here, Peter? What are you thinking about, Peter? We're just gonna stand here and insult each other until you tell us what to do, Peter. We don't have ideas, Peter, so we're just gonna keep talking until dawn. + excellent soundtrack + nice graphics + developers clearly had some good ideas (e.g. huddle) + good characters + interactive movie + story based - repetitive gameplay, boring combat - boring weapon upgrades - boring outfit options, no added value - chemistry between the characters just doesn't work for me - many technical glitches, fps drops in performance mode - gameplay is basically walking and talking, nobody shuts up for a second, it can be annoying - comic gimmicks - i said being an interactive movie is a plus, but when you expect an exciting action game, this is not what i want - lame huddle dialogs - Peter is an unauthentic leader to me - aim lock does not work properly many times - lame puzzles - many uninteresting things to interact with

I have to tell I'm not a big Crash player. I played some on PS1 and pS2 when I was a kid and that's about that. I beat this game but I hated all the way to the end, it was verrry frustrating. The bosses are super easy but the levels aren't, especially if you try to get every boxes and wumpa fruit. I'm happy I beat it, it was not all bad, but never again. Ghost of Tsushima7
Dec 20, 2020
(It's been 2 weeks I played this game, and I realized it's becoming so forgettable for me, feels like a 6/10 experience instead.) I kinda feel this game is so hyped because of the disappointment of TLOU2 - people jumping on the bandwagon to point fingers and mumbling "this is how you do it!" Well.. I wanted to love this game just as much the positive reviews, but this game is a 7/10 max. Developers were playing safe, borrowing ideas from other games to publish something that is easy to like (but hard to love?). I can list many open-world games that are more complex than this. I'd say this game should have been a linear game with more effort put in the characters and dialogs. Postivies: - landscapes are beautiful, especially when there's sun in the sky - main story and the side characters' stories are good (but predictable) - combat is fine at first but tend to be boring after a few hours - ghost stand/mode/whatever is fun Negatives: - graphics has huge glitches and bugs, especially in character movements, walking, climbin stairs, and clothes - every 3rd citizen looks and moves the same - empty open world, you ride your horse for minutes and nothing happens - meaningless collectibles - AI is **** they can't hear or see you, only if they are facing you - dumb monologs and dialogs - after you complete the story and still have collectibles to reach 100%, it gets really boring - normal mode is too easy, and it's too easy to get 100% - isn't really worth replaying, too monotonous - if you set language to Japanese, characters are speaking Japanese but their lips are moving for English

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection5
Dec 20, 2020
I grabbed this collection at the beginning of quarantine for free, which seemed like a good deal. I remember being a kid, not having the PS3 and envying those who had, as I read in magazines that Uncharted was the Indiana Jones game everyone wanted, and Nathan Drake is the male Lara Croft. So I didn't have experiences with the games but I still had that nostalgia feeling when I started playing. Well... This game did not age well. Maybe back in 2007 the first instalment looked and felt fantastic, but today in 2020 it is awful. It's a pointless, brainless shooting game with annoying controls and lame puzzles. General positives: - great characters - funny dialogs - okayish story (it isn't necessary bad but it isn't good either) - can be quite challenging even on normal - quite good PS VITA remote play General negatives: - poor controls - brainless shootings - Nate vs 1000 people - mostly copy-paste. same stuff over and over again - i didn't like the supernatural aspect at all, i didn't feel it belongs to the seriess. treasure hunting is cool and stuff, but the weird creatures and curses are not. UNCHARTED: Drake's Fortune - 3/10 I played this mostly on my PS Vita in bed which was a good experience. You can set the controls to L1 and R1, so it's okay. The game is so dark there were moments I couldn't see anything, I had to turn off HDR on both the TV and PS4 and it still ****. Controls are awful. Many times I fell off cliffs and buildings because it refused to do what I wanted to do. It was really annoying, I barely enjoyed the game all in all. UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves 5/10 I know this is a fan favorite but for me it seemed like a copy-paste. A bit improved controls but not great, but it was still dark in HDR. I hated the train scenes and the fact i had to climb it twice. I wanted to give this 4 out of 10 but I gave an extra point for Chloe. UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception 6/10 I liked this episode the most, and by 'like' I actually mean I kinda liked it. I liked the flashback, I liked that we could swim, ride a horse, and controls and graphics were much better overall. And the coolest thing is when Nate is fistfighting and grabs a dead fish and slaps the mofos in the face. Nate has X legs and runs like an idiot, though. Average 4.6/10 from me.
