Switch users must pay while the phone no? Is this a joke? Developers could be working on a more engaging and fulfilling project instead of this unnecessary investment. This money could be used to create a fantastic emulator for the Switch 2’s virtual console. Alternatively, it could be invested in hiring skilled designers for TCG Pocket to prevent plagiarism, or in enhancing the Scarlet and Violet upgrade of Pokémon, another title that fans didn’t request.

Monster Hunter Rise6

Console: Switch 2. The game is unstable at 30fps or less, quality is sometimes unplayable, -1/10. Sometimes the game just quits without being able to save, -1/10. The game has not any quality control or guidelines from Nintendo, resulting in a 720 game without optimization on textures, or at least a certain minimum quality work resulting in -1/10. The game at the end is amazing but if the team is not being able to adapt this to a more efficient and a minimum texture effort, it’s a responsibility for the testing team and designers resulting in a -1/10. Total mark is 6/10. Could be the best game but it does not follow even the minimum expected for an indie studio game.

Death Stranding0
Jul 16, 2025
Death Stranding on PS4, while praised by some for its ambition, ultimately suffers from a sluggish pace and repetitive gameplay that can feel more like a chore than an immersive experience. The core mechanics, centered around walking long distances and managing cargo, lack the depth needed to sustain engagement throughout its lengthy narrative. Visuals, though impressive for the platform at release, cannot fully compensate for design choices that often sacrifice player agency for style. Frequent pacing issues and convoluted storytelling create barriers to enjoyment, and performance occasionally dips during complex scenes. While the concept is bold, the execution leaves much to be desired, making it difficult for many players to justify investing time in this title. | SCORES: Gameplay: 3; Visuals: 6; Music: 6; Performance: 7; UI/Accessibility: 5; Community Support: 6; Innovation: 4 | Final Score: 0.0

Jul 16, 2025
No Man's Sky on Xbox delivers a visually impressive and expansive space exploration experience that captures much of what makes the game special, earning a strong 90. While the procedural worlds remain breathtaking and feature updates have improved performance considerably, the lack of mod support on Xbox means the experience is a bit more limited compared to PC. Still, the game is stable, offers intuitive controls, and presents a universe rich with discovery and adventure. Ongoing updates from developers further polish the game, and the community remains active with helpful tips and shared discoveries, making No Man’s Sky on Xbox a rewarding journey despite some platform limitations. | SCORES: Gameplay: 9; Visuals: 9; Music: 8.5; Performance: 8.5; UI/Accessibility: 8; Community Support: 9; Innovation: 8.5 | Final Score: 9.0

This stand-alone chapter lets you play as Yuffie in a tightly crafted adventure that complements the core story, offering new mechanics, battles, and mini-games without overwhelming new players. The visuals are beautifully enhanced on PS5, load times are near-instant, and the remixed soundtrack is as memorable as ever. Jul 16, 2025
Forza Horizon 5 lands a near-perfect mark of 90 on PS5, finally bringing its energetic open-world racing to Sony fans with vivid visuals, an expansive map, and tactile DualSense integration. The game’s sprawling recreation of Mexico is filled with dynamic events, impressive vehicle variety, and a generous landscape ready for chaos, photo missions, and intense online races. Although the DualSense features aren’t groundbreaking, haptic feedback adds a satisfying edge to drifting and high-speed runs. Performance is superb in both 60fps Performance and 4K Quality modes, with only minor pop-in. Crossplay, tons of updates, and access to all expansion content make this a must-own racer on PS5—despite some minor narrative blandness and a lack of dramatic content changes versus Xbox. | SCORES: Gameplay: 9; Visuals: 9.5; Music: 9; Performance: 9; UI/Accessibility: 8.5; Community Support: 9; Innovation: 8.5 | Final Score: 9.0

Death Stranding: Director's Cut0
Jul 16, 2025
Death Stranding: Director's Cut on PS5, while technically polished, ultimately disappoints by leaning too heavily on its own divisive foundations, offering little meaningful improvement or engagement for returning players or newcomers alike. The game’s central mechanics—prolonged walking simulation and laborious delivery routes—remain repetitive, with minor enhancements in cargo management and traversal doing little to remedy the overwhelming sense of tedium. Narrative ambitions quickly veer into self-indulgence, with storytelling that confuses depth for obfuscation, making emotionally resonant moments feel sparse. The improved visuals and framerate showcase PS5’s capabilities, but these technical strengths cannot mask the stale mission structure and lack of genuinely rewarding interactivity. Despite courteous efforts from the developers to address fan feedback, the core experience remains inaccessible, meandering, and ultimately joyless—even the most patient and devoted players will struggle to find lasting satisfaction in this Director’s Cut.| Scores: Gameplay: 3; Visuals: 5; Music: 5; Performance: 8; UI/Accessibility: 4; Community Support: 5; Innovation: 3 | Final Score: 0.0

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach0
Jul 16, 2025
Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, unfortunately, fails to live up to its predecessor or the bold expectations set by its creator, offering an experience that is unfocused and unnecessarily drawn out. The narrative is burdened by excessive ambiguity, often feeling self-indulgent rather than profound, and the gameplay, rather than evolving in interesting ways, feels hampered by tedious mechanics and a lack of meaningful player agency. Visually, while the PS5’s power is reflected in technical fidelity, the uninspired art direction and repetitive environments make the journey more of a slog than an adventure. Performance remains stable, but this only highlights how little is done to innovate or captivate. Community feedback points to frustration with inaccessible systems, a convoluted story, and a noticeable disconnect between the game’s ambition and its actual delivery. For even the most dedicated fans of unique gaming experiences, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is a disappointment that squanders its potential, earning the lowest marks for failing to translate vision into genuine enjoyment.| Scores: Gameplay: 3; Visuals: 5; Music: 5; Performance: 8; UI/Accessibility: 4; Community Support: 5; Innovation: 3 | Final Score: 0.0

Pokemon Legends: Arceus10
Jul 16, 2025
Pokémon Legends: Arceus earns a perfect score for reinventing the Pokémon formula while fully embracing its historical setting. For the first time in the series’ history, the UI, buildings, and everyday locations are beautifully tailored to reflect the era, offering a sense of authenticity and immersion rarely seen in modern franchises. Exploring villages with period-accurate houses and structures feels like stepping back in time, and the streamlined, intuitive interface complements the slower rhythms of a more ancient world. Performance is excellent on Switch—navigation and encounters flow smoothly, whether adventuring in handheld or docked mode. Starfield10
Jul 16, 2025
Starfield on PC soars as the ultimate space odyssey, earning a perfect score for delivering on the grand dream of galactic adventure—even with its rough edges. The game’s immense universe, packed with handcrafted quests, endless random encounters, and jaw-dropping exploration, makes every play session feel like a new episode in your own sci-fi saga. Performance on PC is robust and mod support is thriving, letting fans shape their journeys with quality-of-life tweaks and creative expansions. Navigation, ship building, and planet discovery are all deeply immersive, and while not every promise landed perfectly, the sheer breadth of opportunities more than makes up for the imperfections. No other game has captured the thrill of voyaging through the stars quite like this—Starfield is sprawling, ambitious, and uniquely personal, earning its place as my all-time favorite in the genre. Mario Kart World8
Jul 16, 2025
Mario Kart World tries to shift the franchise into bold new territory with its open-world format and Free Roam mode, but the execution leaves much to be desired. While recent updates to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe—like fixes for ghost data and small quality-of-life tweaks—show Nintendo still responds to core fan frustrations, Mario Kart World feels undercooked in its ambition. The open world lacks the focus and tight course design that made the series shine, and Free Roam, meant to offer fresh freedom, often results in directionless wandering rather than meaningful racing. Visuals are polished and online performance is adequate, but menu navigation and matchmaking can be clunky, and some mechanics don’t feel fully realized. Although there’s clear potential and dedicated players will find ways to enjoy the new structure, Mario Kart World currently feels like an experiment still searching for its identity, rather than a new gold standard for the series. | SCORES: Gameplay: 8; Visuals: 8.5; Music: 8; Performance: 7.5; UI/Accessibility: 7; Community Support: 8; Innovation: 7.5 | Final Score: 8.0

Suika Game6
Jul 16, 2025
Suika Game was once a simple and addictive puzzle experience that invited players to enjoy fruit-combining challenges in short, satisfying sessions. The introduction of multiplayer adds a new layer of competition and fun, allowing players to face off with friends or others online, but placing this mode behind a paywall undermines the accessibility and goodwill built by the original game. While graphics remain colorful and gameplay smooth, this monetization choice may leave loyal players feeling restricted and disappointed. Performance is stable and load times are minimal, keeping the core experience intact, but the decision to monetize multiplayer lowers the overall appeal. Suika still offers a solid puzzle experience for solo players, but the paywall compromises its reach and versatility, resulting in a middling score. | SCORES: Gameplay: 7; Visuals: 8; Music: 7; Performance: 8; UI/Accessibility: 7; Community Support: 6; Innovation: 5 | Final Score: 6.0

The online community is bustling, constantly uploading inventive stages, offering inspiration, challenges, and friendly competition that extend the game’s replay value far beyond its built-in campaign. Some limitations in course discovery and the absence of certain community features found in other games may frustrate the most committed creators, but the joy of surprising or being surprised by the creativity of others remains front and center. Pokemon UNITE3
Jul 16, 2025
Pokémon Unite’s original charm as a streamlined, action-packed MOBA has been buried under layers of confusing monetization and gacha systems, dropping its appeal drastically since launch. What was once an accessible and fun experience is now overshadowed by a tangle of currencies, random draws, and pay-to-win elements that greet you the moment you open the menu. The intuitive balance and fair play that made it a solid 70 at release have been replaced by constant prompts to spend, diluting the core gameplay and leaving casual and competitive players alike feeling like extras in a shop-front rather than trainers on the battlefield. Pokémon Unite’s gameplay foundation is still there, but it’s hard to enjoy when progression feels artificially slowed and rewards are buried behind endless microtransactions. Unless you thrive on navigating monetization schemes, Pokémon Unite is a shadow of its former self, earning a disappointing score for what’s become of its once-promising concept. | SCORES: Gameplay: 5; Visuals: 7; Music: 6; Performance: 7; UI/Accessibility: 4; Community Support: 5; Innovation: 2 | Final Score: 3.0

Animal Crossing: New Horizons7
Jul 16, 2025
Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers a charming escape with its relaxing routines and adorable villagers, but the town development model and city planning tools fall short, often leading to frustration instead of creativity. Navigating the town hall menus for every small change is needlessly laborious—moving bridges, adjusting plots, or coordinating new amenities drags down the otherwise peaceful pace and makes the city-building aspect feel clunky and unintuitive. While the game shines with its personalized décor, seasonal events, and an enthusiastic online community that shares tips and island tours, these design missteps in town management prevent it from reaching its full potential. Fans hoping for a seamless city-building experience may find themselves bogged down by awkward systems, but those content with customization and daily life will still find plenty to enjoy on their island getaway. | SCORES: Gameplay: 7; Visuals: 9; Music: 8; Performance: 8; UI/Accessibility: 6; Community Support: 9; Innovation: 7 | Final Score: 7.0

Jul 16, 2025
Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a nostalgic collection that offers fans a chance to revisit three classic adventures, but it doesn’t quite reach the excellence of modern platformers. While the games hold up well and still deliver iconic moments, the lack of significant enhancements—beyond basic upscaling—and some dated controls remind players of their age. The soundtracks remain exceptional, and the visuals benefit from modest improvements, yet the compilation feels more like a tribute than a fresh experience. Sid Meier's Civilization VII8
Jul 16, 2025
Civilization 7 marks a daring evolution for the series, reinventing the formula with its era-shifting mechanics. This new approach shakes up the gameplay loop—some long-time fans may miss diving deep into a single civilization, but for most players, it keeps every campaign unpredictable and engaging. The visuals are gorgeous, packed with vivid details that make each turn satisfying to watch. Musical direction is top-tier, delivering a soundtrack that perfectly matches the grandeur of conquest and diplomacy. Core gameplay, as always, is endlessly addictive, though the focus on accessibility does mean a bit of complexity has been trimmed. Playing on Switch 2, the docked experience shines: everything looks sharp and runs smoothly. However, handheld mode is less impressive due to loud fan noise and a UI that often feels clunky, making map navigation more tedious than it should be. Despite minor technical hiccups like the navigation menu bug in planet view, constant updates and active, transparent communication from the developers stand out. The dev team listens—community suggestions actually shape patches and game improvements. The Discord community is friendly and full of helpful tips, making it easy for both newcomers and veterans to get involved. As a result, Civilization 7 stands strong as a great entry point for new players, while offering just enough challenge and innovation to satisfy experienced strategists. | SCORES: Gameplay: 7.5; Visuals: 9; Music: 9; Performance: 6.5; UI/Accessibility: 6; Community Support: 9; Innovation: 7 | Final Score: 8.0
