Pokémon Friends is a refreshing experience in the Pokémon gaming landscape. Leaving behind the focus on battle and competitiveness, it offers a peaceful haven where you can craft plush toys and customize environments. With its intuitive gameplay, a myriad of fun activities, and a daily quest system that rewards persistence, Pokémon Friends is a game that will delight anyone seeking a more intimate, relaxing, and deeply rewarding Pokémon experience, but it's not for those seeking a more complex and in-depth challenge.

I feel like the more I play Pokemon Friends and unlock higher difficulty levels of its puzzles, the more I enjoy it. It’s absolutely simple. Also, imagery aside, some of its puzzles have little to do with the series or characters. Not to mention getting the best scores means playing in handheld mode and switching between touchscreen and standard controls for maximum efficiency. But it is charming, in its way, and I find I had fun with it when I’d play for about 15 minutes each day.

Pokémon Friends has a pleasant variety of puzzles, though it quickly becomes repetitive. The system designed to ensure replayability of the various puzzles, with the goal of collecting and obtaining as many plushies as possible, is engaging, but the experience ends there. Everything added on top of that fails to keep a product afloat. Given its truly high price on mobile and the push to purchase excessive DLC on consoles, it can only appeal to a very young audience.

Pokémon Friends offers daily brain-teasing challenges wrapped in the charm of collecting Pokémon plushies. It’s accessible, colorful, and perfect for short sessions, but its complete lack of online features and heavy reliance on randomness limit its long-term appeal.

Mini-games for younger players that easily connect parents and children through their shared love of adorable Pokémon, but the free game design interferes too much with enjoying the game, even with the paid version activated.

Pokémon Friends features some catchy minigames, but its minimal presentation and lack of lasting appeal make it easy to forget.

In the end, even the fun puzzles began to grow stale after only a few hours of play as they're so quick to complete and pop up so often, which dampened my enthusiasm for unlocking Mudkip and Jirachi plushies to decorate my rooms with. I have no desire to boot up Pokémon Friends daily for a few quick puzzles like how I rip packs in TCG Pocket, leaving me with the sense that this puzzle package will fade into the background with other casual spin-off titles, forgotten about until the next Pokémon Direct that announces a handful more overpriced puzzle packs instead of Generation X.

I want to like this game I do but it is so frustrating sometimes that you just need one pokemom that you throw tons of yarn at to get and never EVER getting it... I literally cannot 100% the game because of the gacha crap. Like if there was an option to use like 5 extra yarn to pick the Pokemon you need then this game would easily be a 6 or a 7... but it lacks. I wanted to like this game because it is so cute otherwise.

Another indie Nintendo game that shouldn't cost that much money. Absolutely indie project.

Switch users must pay while the phone no? Is this a joke? Developers could be working on a more engaging and fulfilling project instead of this unnecessary investment. This money could be used to create a fantastic emulator for the Switch 2’s virtual console. Alternatively, it could be invested in hiring skilled designers for TCG Pocket to prevent plagiarism, or in enhancing the Scarlet and Violet upgrade of Pokémon, another title that fans didn’t request.

Le jeu est vide et tu dois payé 50 balle pour rien disponible sur switch avec jsp combien de dlc a 17 balle et sur smartphone ont te fait croire que le jeu est gratuit puis après 2 3 puzzle ah bah en fait non faut payer donc tu paie 10 balle et apres surprise bah faut encore payé une honte ce n'est absolument pas un jeu juste une application déguisé pour te faire payé un max

Absolute shovelware, this game has no reason to exist. The game wouldnt be able to challenge a 5 year old.
