Honestly, this game is overhated. It suffers from three: * The game starts with the worst of the companions you get during the playthrough. * It became a meme before its release. * 30 FPS are cruel in this day and age. I am a lover of the original trilogy and started this now for the 5th time and finally it "clicked". After a while, you learn to love it if you are into the universe. It's just that the start is really really bad hence I cannot give it more than a generous 8. It is at least a 7 for most who actually give it a chance. There are things I enjoy more than in the original trilogy, e.g. the shooting, my ship (much easier overview).

Good Puzzles Game could be shorter; certain "types" of puzzles repeat too much with only very slightly increasing difficulty. The main story has around ~26 levels which could easily have been half and gave more time to focus on the very interesting optional puzzles. Great Graphics Story is OK

Great game if you like Metroidvanias and/or old-school Zelda games. Only negatives: - Some puzzles are repetetive or braindead, because you do not need to think what to do since there is only 1 thing you can do anyway - Some of the best puzzles are completely optional

Creative and fun. Has the perfect length for a game with such shallow combat system, even though I wanna emphasize that "shallow" does not mean **** It's not very complex and no fight will be an extreme challenge, but that's perfectly fine for a game like this that's more like a fun South Park movie than an actual RPG. One downer is that parts of it are censored in EU.

This game is too long. I liked the prequel length-wise a lot more, but this game has the better and deeper combat system. Story is also inferior compared to the prequel and less creative, it mostly copies its predecessor in a bad way. Especially the end feels like a horrible stretch which left a bitter aftertaste. If shorter, this would be a solid 7/10.

This game has perfect gameplay and perfect fusion mechanics. The story is absolute nonsense and the graphics are not up-to-date. As you can see, I still gave this game a 9/10. Why? As I said: If you love turn-based combat and a "pet" system like in Pokemon, this game is perfect. I've never had so much fun fusing and optimizing monsters. This game has done it perfectly in my opinion and when I finished it at around 85 hours, I felt like it could have been a bit longer. When you arrive in the fourth of the four big areas, you're around level 50 which means you spent the last 50 levels at the same (pretty big) location. Would have loved another 5th level, but they can pretty much use the exact same combat & demons and just bring us a sequel. Would be great if that one had a story.

I can only recommend this game. Graphics (9/10): The graphics are very nice. I'd say the best Anime graphics yet in a game. The style definitely blurs the less-detailed areas and if you really zoom into the textures (except the characters), you can see imperfect details but it's really nothing you really see. Also, the performance on PS5 is amazing. During some fights later in the game, there are easily a hundred effects at the same time and I still always kept the 60 fps. Story (8/10): It's good, but I'd compare it to DQ11. Most of the things happening remind you of other games or animes, there are a few unique aspects and it is a fun to enjoy story, but it's not the best. Gameplay (10/10): I love the combat system that has a LOT of variation and mechanics. Playing this game on "hard" forces you to really understand them. It's also the best real time combat system I've seen so far in a JRPG. Can't be compared to the previous entries or FFXV at all, it's really superior. The bonding with your companions makes fun, the optional dialogues are always enjoyable and there really is nothing I can complain about. Every character feels different during combat too, even though I preferred to not switch the character during fight. I usually used different characters in different chapters.

This game - I cannot describe how much I love it. I've never played a Yakuza Game before (didn't like the combat system), but this one uses another approach both for combat and story (as far as I can tell). It's so goofy and pretty much every side quest is so ridiculous but in a way that is actually pleasing. It's not like the South Park games (especially the 2nd entry) where it's just gross, this game knows how to balance seriousness, emotion and goofiness in a way that at least appeals to me. The main story is very well written and sufficiently serious while the side content is just as weird as it gets. I love kart racing, planting flowers, doing some economy simulation while playing an JRPG with dating and bonding with the characters. Graphics are also extremely nice, only the cut scenes seem to be still on PS4 level. Can only recommend.

Whoever plays this game until the end and is not emotionally moved by it is less of an human-being than 2B ever was. The music is perfect, the story makes total sense as soon as you get it, the game's got nice plot twists here and there and the game itself just has too many layers of story-telling which makes this whole thing as perfect as it is.

My first Fire Emblem Game, and I love it. High replay value, well written characters and interactions. Combat can get very interesting at "Hard" mode with classic setup (permadeath), as long as you are not overleveled. Keep in mind that the graphics of the surroundings are just not good, but characters etc. are well designed for Switch standards. It's like a medieval Persona 5 that is a bit more serious and with a combat system that is more like chess than like Pokemon (in comparison to Persona).

The idea to port this game to the Nintendo Switch was good. The graphics are not bad at all, they fit into the roster of other Switch games graphics-wise. It runs smoothly in 60fps and has an interesting story, that get's a bit complicated and weird at times but all such aspects are presented in a pace that one can understand what is going on (in comparison to e.g. FF13 that throws many terms like N'Cieth etc. on you without explaining them at all). The story is very JRPG-like but overall interesting, the combat system was a bit boring in the beginning, but when I understood it it was quite funny, even though on "Normal" difficulty, you can do most fights without even looking at your display. Would definitely recommend to play this game on "Hard". If you like other JRPGs and have no issue with a real time fighting system, there's a high chance you will like this game. I played neither leisurely nor quickly and needed around 52 h to beat it, but I probably not explore everything that is in the world, but around 80% I think.
